Excelsheets on Steriods

Pros

Before using this software, I managed everything using Excel sheets. Over time, I ended up with numerous scattered sheets, making it challenging to manage and locate the information I needed. With Stackby, everything is in one place and neatly organized into stacks. I can create the layout I desire and view the data in various ways, which is fantastic. Also it is quite simple and easy to use. I can also export and import data to and from Excel sheets.

Cons

I wish there were more options for icons and colors, as well as integration with platforms like Merch by Amazon, Etsy or Redbubble.

Better Alternative than Airtable

Pros

I am a big fan of the automation functions and the available templates.

Cons

The logo on their table in the footer is not to my liking. However, besides that the team is doing a great job!

Form for updates awesome!

Pros

I absolutely LOVE the updates feature. Many programs have forms for data input but updating usually requires manual intervention. Not with Stackby! It automatically populates the record which allows you to update directly in the form. It is something that is much easier than using the full database view. The integration with Zapier works seamlessly as well. I input our company data for customers and jobs through the Stackby form, and it automatically synchronizes with QuickBooks Online, Mailchimp, and Google Contacts. And I've only scratched the surface. Also the customer support team is very helpful with any requests, and I even like the color scheme.

Cons

Occasionally, the stacks don't load, but a simple browser refresh brings them back. I had an issue with duplicating a stack for backup purposes, but the customer support team quickly resolved the problem and everything is working well again.

A nimble database solution that flexes to meet our needs

Pros

I am thrilled with the options of connecting different stacks (tables) together. It eliminates the need for double-entry of data, as we can input contact information in one place and access it from different stacks. As a young company, Stackby impresses me with its continuous shipment of new features. The team actively listens and responds to user input in a way I haven't seen in other companies. I also like the effort put into making Stackby visually appealing.

Cons

This software still feels like an advanced beta version. You might encounter a bug here and there, and some functionalities are not fully developed yet. The most challenging part is that there is no direct integration with a desktop app like Outlook for mail merges. You have to save a CSV copy to work with the data in that way. But this limitation is inherent to this type of system.

How has this not existed before???

Pros

It's highly intuitive and easy to figure out, making it a simple tool to use. The pre-designed formats/templates are a great addition. The online support and videos are fantastic. Once I started using it, I couldn't help but think, Why hasn't anyone invented this before? I love the ability to share a stack via URL or download it as a .csv file.

Cons

Seriously, I have had no issues or problems using it so far. It is very user-friendly.

An essential system for your toolset

Pros

Our consulting company heavily relies on Google Sheets for various tasks. However, it lacks integrations with other essential tools like Ahrefs and Facebook Ads metrics, which can be quite costly and prone to errors with multiple plugins. Stackby has become an essential tool in our tech arsenal. It combines the functionality of a spreadsheet, a database system and a wide range of API integrations, all while allowing us to set formulas. This tool has saved us a significant amount of time and money. If you need control without breaking the bank, Stackby is the way to go.

Cons

I would prefer to have a more modern UI, as the current one feels outdated. However, it doesn't affect the usability.

Great software and great Devs!

Pros

The ease of use is remarkable, and the active updates from the developers constantly improve the product.

Cons

There are still some missing features and functionalities compared to similar software like Airtable. However, the developers are tirelessly working on updates, including some features that Airtable doesn't have. It would be fantastic to have a desktop native app as well.

It's good, and keeps getting better.

Pros

I like that the user interface resembles other familiar interfaces which makes it easy to navigate. The functionality is similar to other products, which is a plus. However, what impresses me the most is the continuous development of new features that keeps Stackby ahead of the competition. The responsive customer support and the company's transparency regarding its future direction are also commendable. I am personally very excited to see where this company will go in the future.

Cons

There were some minor usability issues, but the company has already addressed and fixed them.

Spreadsheet on Steroids

Pros

Calling Stackby a "Spreadsheet on Steroids" is an understatement. It is more like a powerful database with the ease of use of a spreadsheet. I love its versatility, and my love for it grows every day as I witness the relentless improvements made by the team. I must admit, at the beginning of the year, I wasn't quite fond of it. However, after giving it another try recently, this beast has transformed into a true monster on steroids! The API and integrations that the development team keeps adding, sometimes even on a daily basis, are phenomenal.

Cons

I wish the app could work a little faster. It has improved compared to when I first tried it months ago, but recently I have noticed some occasional slowdowns.

Great Airtable alternative

Pros

The user interface is beautifully designed and quite simple. I can dive right into my work without the need for tutorials or a lot of reading. The availability of numerous API integrations is a great bonus.

Cons

The UI could be quicker in updating. There were times when the UI lagged.

Was looking for a business/project/task management tool. Got much more than that!

Pros

It combines the functionalities of an Excel sheet and a database, but with a much simpler and practical approach. What sets it apart is the remarkable API integration, which I absolutely love. I can seamlessly integrate detailed statistics and information from my YouTube channel into Stackby. Additionally, it helps me keep track of my competitors video data. If the table view seems overwhelming, I can easily switch to a Kanban board or even a gallery-style view for my design assets, complete with thumbnail previews. One of the standout features I love is the ability to choose from multiple options and assign functions to each column. I can then duplicate, rearrange or export to another stack/base, opening up endless possibilities. I truly believe this software holds immense potential. Another feature I am excited about and plan to use widely in the future is the forms. They allow me to collect data from my target audience/clients and can be shared as independent URLs with their own landing pages and redirect functions. Moreover, I can easily embed any part of Stackby into my website, which is incredibly cool. Apart from Zapier, Stackby offers integrations with numerous software and apps, including automation with 'Integrately,' which I personally own.

Cons

Stackby does have a steep learning curve, especially for someone like me who is new to it. However, once I learn about all the key functions, it will be an invaluable tool in my collection. There is hardly anything to complain about!
