Multi-agile tracking platform

Pros

It is very good in terms of programming and executing project or software development in an agile way with tracking graphs and a practical way to rate the development times of the tasks that complement the project.

Cons

Users can only have one role within the project and it would be better to be able to have multiple roles because those who develop a project can also be users

Taiga: Full powered and lightweight

Pros

I use this tool for managing workflows, bug tracking, software feature development and providing project wiki support. It serves me well on all these aspects. Also it helps with configuration management.

Lightweight and easy to use project management tool

Pros

Taiga is quite user-friendly. It has all the necessary features we require.

Cons

Excellent tool for Agile Management

Pros

I use Taiga for backlog management and Scrum management, including sprints, sprint backlog, sprint task board and user story estimation.

Cons

The setup process after installation takes quite a bit of time. Sometimes the performance is also very poor. I can't directly change the story sprint in the story edit, which is inconvenient.

Project and issues management which is not time consuming

Pros

The best aspect of Taiga is its simplicity! Keeping it simple prevents it from becoming overly complex and time-consuming, unlike many other project management tools. While it offers custom attributes, if you require too many, it might become overwhelming. It's a tool meant to serve a purpose, rather than an end in itself.

Cons

The reporting functionality is a bit too basic. I need to extract meaningful information by applying filters, including custom attributes. Currently, I have to do this outside of Taiga, which can be cumbersome.

Easy to use, 100% customizable and very high performance

Pros

We mainly utilize it as a kanban board, and it perfectly fits our needs. It allows us to easily replicate our workflow and has saved us countless hours of management and communication, both internally and with clients. It's fast, and its usability is excellent as it minimize the number of clicks needed for actions. I highly recommend it.

Cons

The SCRUM features didn't fully meet our needs, although we didn't explore them widely yet.

Very good app that does what is is asked too

Pros

Taiga focuses on productivity and simplicity in its core features, namely scrum and kanban. It's not only easy to use, but also easy to deploy. It provides exactly what I need which allows me to focus on producing.

Cons

There's a slight lack in visually appealing and comprehensive reporting. I still haven't figured out an easy way to perform multi-selection.

Pros

Taiga is an excellent free and open-source option for managing teams and projects. It's user-friendly, with a modern user interface and a great user experience. It integrates seamlessly with GitLab and offers complete customization.

Taiga is a useful tool for daily stand up and scrum planning

Pros

Our team particularly like the color-coding function for project-related tasks in Kanban, as well as the burndown function in the scrum setting.

Cons

It's challenging to keep individual scrum boards updated within projects when our stand-up is on the Kanban board. It would be helpful to have a way to link them.

Overall a vey good product

Pros

The ease of use, even for our clients, is a standout feature. We primarily use the ticket system, which is exceptional. Additionally, it runs very stably with minimal downtime.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the new pricing system where we have to pay more based on the number of members. We work on relatively small software projects, but testing on the client side often requires 6 to 8 people, which makes Taiga quite expensive. A feature-based pricing model would be much better.

Very Good Framework - What you get out of the software is exactly what you put into it.

Pros

Switching between projects is not a problem anymore, and assigning story points is easy. The dashboard provides a convenient overview.

Cons

Manually indicating that an epic has started is necessary (it should be automatic once a task is marked in progress or complete). More guidance and best practices would be helpful. It's a challenge due to the wide variety of use cases, but having some initial guidance would be useful. Figuring out what works and what doesn't takes effort.

Taiga is nice collaboration tool between different organizations

Pros

Taiga fills the gap left by most similar software when it comes to collaboration between different organizations. Its licensing allows for easy sharing and collaboration across parties, without the limitations imposed by company boundaries in other software models.

The best Kanban board we have found

Pros

While all Agile tools have limitations, Taiga is the one I keep returning to. Its kanban board is the most intuitive we have found, and it is simple yet comprehensive as a product backlog.

Cons

Like with all agile tools, managing multiple teams, products and projects simultaneously is challenging. The tool works great as long as you focus on one of the three dimensions. I would like to see a burndown feature that allows me to mix and match the three dimensions freely. I haven't found a tool (besides a spreadsheet) that allows me to do that.

Pros

Pros

Prefer Jira, Using with Third Party Vendor

Pros

At the request of one of our third-party vendors, we use Taiga for basic project management. It works well for scrum work, and we particularly like the project wiki. However, we generally prefer Jira, which we use in-house for our other development work.

Cons

It has a steep learning curve, and some of the terminology used is non-traditional, which takes time to get used to. There are also some annoying UI elements.

Good entry level agile project management tool

Pros

I consider Taiga an entry-level project management tool that includes a few highly sought-after features at a reasonable price. It also offers a free trial version which allows you to test it and determine if it meets your requirements. The Kanban boards are also very user-friendly.

Cons

Compared to its competitors, the tool only offers a basic set of features. Navigating within the tool takes some time to get accustomed to. Therefore, there is room for improvement in terms of user experience.

Easy to use and powerful Project management tool for getting things done.

Pros

This tool is beautifully designed and quite easy to use. The mobile app is also neatly designed. I particularly enjoyed the Kanban view, which I found better than other project management tools I've come across. The customer support is great and responsive. It has significantly boosted team productivity and is easy to manage for both managers and team leads.

Cons

There are fewer customization options compared to other project management tools. The free plan only allows for 3 users in private projects. It would be better to have at least 5 users. The web panel offers more features than the mobile app. The Android app needs improvement.

Taiga needs more time to catch up

Pros

Tiaga is simple to set up and includes all the core features needed for product management. It offers multiple strategies out of the box and provides easy ways to manage open-source projects, including tools for finding volunteers and sharing product plans. Overall, it delivers the expected functionality for a basic project management tool.

Cons

Taiga lacks advanced and suitable features that make the job easier. This includes a user-friendly Kanban-style ticketing view, extensive customization options, higher-level project management with epics and a fair price point. While it's possible to host Taiga and add customization as it is open-source, most users won't have the time or patience for this. These issues don't make Taiga impossible to use or recommend, but they can be frustrating for users accustomed to JIRA or Pivotal.

Pros

The team board motivates employees to achieve their targets. The KANBAN board in Taiga is a very useful feature as it provides an overview of the project's status and allows for efficient task management. The backlog offers a comprehensive summary of all project tasks, and the notifications displayed on the timeline provide insights into recent changes and actions taken by users.

Manage the projects without the headaches

Pros

The KANBAN board is the key in managing and measuring project status. We can add ongoing project issues, and the team board provides details about team collaboration. The timeline displays notifications for all changes made by users, and by clicking on a user's name, we can access their action history. The backlog provides an overall summary of the projects and displays all tasks.

Cons

Working with different types of screens can be a little confusing. Also there are some terms that users may not easily understand until they figure them out.
