“Lots of construction sites, no further development for around 2 years
Pros
Open source, on-premise self-hostedVery good concept for implementing Scrum and EpicsFast and dynamic
Cons
Cross project planning not really possibleTaiga Next will not include epics and scrum modulesTaiga Next officially does not offer direct migration from TaigaPrioritization only via order in the backlog or custom field (without display or filtering)Wiki very rudimentary and actually not usable for our applicationIntegration with GitLab can only issues create in TaigaCustom fields cannot be searched or filteredCustom fields cannot be displayed in a tableUsers can only be added to a project the first time with a full email, even though they already exist in the systemDisplay and filtering limitations do not allow good evaluation

“Multi-agile tracking platform
Pros
It is very good in terms of programming and executing project or software development in an agile way with tracking graphs and a practical way to rate the development times of the tasks that complement the project.
Cons
Users can only have one role within the project and it would be better to be able to have multiple roles because those who develop a project can also be users

“Taiga: Full powered and lightweight
Pros
I use this tool for managing workflows, bug tracking, software feature development and providing project wiki support. It serves me well on all these aspects. Also it helps with configuration management.
Cons
The integration with git and gitlab didn't work well for me.

“Helpful, not complicating
Pros
It's incredibly easy and simple to comprehend. It doesn't complicate the essential task of tracking work progress.
Cons
There's a lack of integration, especially when it comes to time tracking.

“Lightweight and easy to use project management tool
Pros
Taiga is quite user-friendly. It has all the necessary features we require.
Cons
Native support for Google SSO is not available. We had to rely on an external plugin, but the user experience wasn't entirely smooth and had some errors.

“Excellent tool for Agile Management
Pros
I use Taiga for backlog management and Scrum management, including sprints, sprint backlog, sprint task board and user story estimation.
Cons
The setup process after installation takes quite a bit of time. Sometimes the performance is also very poor. I can't directly change the story sprint in the story edit, which is inconvenient.

“Project and issues management which is not time consuming
Pros
The best aspect of Taiga is its simplicity! Keeping it simple prevents it from becoming overly complex and time-consuming, unlike many other project management tools. While it offers custom attributes, if you require too many, it might become overwhelming. It's a tool meant to serve a purpose, rather than an end in itself.
Cons
The reporting functionality is a bit too basic. I need to extract meaningful information by applying filters, including custom attributes. Currently, I have to do this outside of Taiga, which can be cumbersome.

“Easy to use, 100% customizable and very high performance
Pros
We mainly utilize it as a kanban board, and it perfectly fits our needs. It allows us to easily replicate our workflow and has saved us countless hours of management and communication, both internally and with clients. It's fast, and its usability is excellent as it minimize the number of clicks needed for actions. I highly recommend it.
Cons
The SCRUM features didn't fully meet our needs, although we didn't explore them widely yet.

“A very easy start
Pros
Starting to work with Taiga in a small team is a simple process. While we haven't fully integrated it into our development lifecycle, we're satisfied with its friendly, clear and enjoyable user experience. It's simple to use.
Cons
I miss the option to see the history and evolution of a specific item.

“Very good app that does what is is asked too
Pros
Taiga focuses on productivity and simplicity in its core features, namely scrum and kanban. It's not only easy to use, but also easy to deploy. It provides exactly what I need which allows me to focus on producing.
Cons
There's a slight lack in visually appealing and comprehensive reporting. I still haven't figured out an easy way to perform multi-selection.

“great open source option
Pros
Taiga is an excellent free and open-source option for managing teams and projects. It's user-friendly, with a modern user interface and a great user experience. It integrates seamlessly with GitLab and offers complete customization.
Cons
Conference calls often have issues and tend to freeze. The option is relatively new and has room for improvement.

“Taiga is a useful tool for daily stand up and scrum planning
Pros
Our team particularly like the color-coding function for project-related tasks in Kanban, as well as the burndown function in the scrum setting.
Cons
It's challenging to keep individual scrum boards updated within projects when our stand-up is on the Kanban board. It would be helpful to have a way to link them.

“Overall a vey good product
Pros
The ease of use, even for our clients, is a standout feature. We primarily use the ticket system, which is exceptional. Additionally, it runs very stably with minimal downtime.
Cons
I'm not a fan of the new pricing system where we have to pay more based on the number of members. We work on relatively small software projects, but testing on the client side often requires 6 to 8 people, which makes Taiga quite expensive. A feature-based pricing model would be much better.

“Very Good Framework - What you get out of the software is exactly what you put into it.
Pros
Switching between projects is not a problem anymore, and assigning story points is easy. The dashboard provides a convenient overview.
Cons
Manually indicating that an epic has started is necessary (it should be automatic once a task is marked in progress or complete). More guidance and best practices would be helpful. It's a challenge due to the wide variety of use cases, but having some initial guidance would be useful. Figuring out what works and what doesn't takes effort.

“Taiga is nice collaboration tool between different organizations
Pros
Taiga fills the gap left by most similar software when it comes to collaboration between different organizations. Its licensing allows for easy sharing and collaboration across parties, without the limitations imposed by company boundaries in other software models.
Cons
The integration and migration abilities with other platforms is not up to the mark.

“The best Kanban board we have found
Pros
While all Agile tools have limitations, Taiga is the one I keep returning to. Its kanban board is the most intuitive we have found, and it is simple yet comprehensive as a product backlog.
Cons
Like with all agile tools, managing multiple teams, products and projects simultaneously is challenging. The tool works great as long as you focus on one of the three dimensions. I would like to see a burndown feature that allows me to mix and match the three dimensions freely. I haven't found a tool (besides a spreadsheet) that allows me to do that.

“Easiest application with the right amount of features
Pros
Unlike other applications, Taiga isn't overloaded with features. Its short learning curve is a testament to its intuitive user experience.
Cons
The Kanban board is the best way to track tasks, but it can make it easy to lose track of stories without individual tasks created for them.

“Great for Event Planning
Pros
My partner and I used Taiga for collaborating and planning a major event. It proved to be highly valuable for this purpose and would likely be beneficial for other project management needs as well.
Cons
I found the hierarchy system to be unintuitive, and it was often difficult to find and update specific tasks.

“Good for simple use (kanban like), but lack features for really complex projects
Pros
Most of the time, Taiga is simple, clean, and easy to use.
Cons
It can be clunky at times and lacks features for more complex projects. It's primarily a simple Kanban tool.
