Transitioning to WorkZone is relatively straightforward thanks to its user-friendly platform and comprehensive support. It serves as a one-stop solution for project requests document management time tracking and portfolio reporting.

Cons

A few project management idiosyncrasies exist but they're not showstoppers and have simple workarounds. Challenges include task planning using FS (finish to start) absence of a critical path (an upcoming WZ feature) and no project-to-project dependencies (an upcoming WZ feature). The workaround for milestones involves allocating 1 minute as WZ is time-based.

Using this software to share files with employees across the company is enjoyable and efficient making it easy to save and share reports projects and more.

The search feature doesn't facilitate easy keyword searches.

Once set up Workzone allows viewing multiple project statuses tracking task progress and receiving progress reports via email at intervals. The ability to create project templates is one of its best features saving time and effort for teams handling similar projects repeatedly.

Setting up Workzone was a manual process and although beneficial having comprehensive project templates from various industries for customization would save time.

Visibility into ongoing projects their workflow the ability to share files and comment within the system are valuable features of Workzone.

While the commenting feature exists for files a more robust user interface is desired. Additionally an improved mobile experience is wished for.

Reporting needs improvements; exporting large files for analysis is currently restricted. More export options including archived projects are necessary.

Workzone has a ton of features and helps us keep track of everything going on. I can look at the workload for each person on my team to know the status of their projects and where new work should be assigned.

The steep learning curve is common in most project management software. Sometimes excessive granularity can bury specific information and a better in-app notification system is desired.

Pros

The best thing I like about Workzone is the project and task tracker dashboard. I rely on it to manage my day-to-day tasks. I also appreciate their customer success team coaching users to be successful on the tool which many other tools lack.

Cons

No major issues but a slightly lower price would be preferable. The recent interface launch is appreciated improving the overall user experience.
