Across our company it really simplified how we handle tasks. I relied on it in multiple ways to coordinate workflows for different teams and functions. All in all it's very simple to operate and find my way around.

Honestly I find it so user-friendly that I struggle to think of major drawbacks. For me and my colleagues it keeps us connected and ensures our workflows keep progressing without hiccups.

What I value most about it is how it brings order to our workload. Projects stay neatly organized, assigning tasks is simple and I can always see how everything is progressing. I frequently rely on filters and tailor-made status labels which are especially helpful when juggling several projects at once.

Cons

In a big company I need a simple snapshot of what's underway, what's stalled and which items are waiting for approval and Wrike does a good job addressing that requirement. That said I'd really welcome a more obvious, smarter reminder capability for example, built-in priority notifications or automatic highlighting of mission-critical tasks because without that we often end up adopting extra tools to make certain that important items don't slip through the cracks.

Organizing and keeping track of several projects used to be difficult for our team. After we introduced this tool managing projects became simple. The platform also handles workflows and task tracking efficiently and smoothly.

During my use I haven't run into problems beyond the usual so far. It's a solid and dependable project management solution.

For our market research company it has become my team's go-to project management tool. We use it every day. It brings together all project communication in one central spot and tracks the hours we spend on each task which makes billing and time management much simpler. I also find it handy for building both personal and team dashboards that display the metrics we need, things like time logged, upcoming and current tasks and workload charts. Those visualizations are really helpful when I'm juggling priorities and balancing the team's capacity. Overall the interface feels clean, user-friendly and simple to use.

Cons

I don't have many complaints. There was one occasion when I either didn't receive notifications at all or they arrived late which caused a hiccup in my workflow. Apart from that isolated bug, everything else functions smoothly and I've not experienced any ongoing issues. So in general I'm satisfied with how reliable it is.

Personalization doesn't reach the depth I'd prefer. I can't monitor tickets raised by others, the license feels quite pricey and I'd also like to see detailed utilization metrics added to the platform.

There's definitely room for improvement around integrations. While it does let you connect with a number of other apps, I've found those integration choices to be a bit more limited than what competing tools offer and the setup process can sometimes be awkward and time-consuming.

That said I notice a lot of the more powerful tools are only available on higher-priced plans which can feel restrictive. Also adjusting workflows takes some time before they behave exactly how I want.

However, it was not as user-friendly for me initially and I did not want to deal with the approval process through my company.

Customization and switching between board view and list view for a fresh perspective have made life simpler. The quick updates and ease of use were also impressive. Although none of us were familiar with Wrike, we received a crash course. Some team members adapted quickly, diving into sub-tasks while others like me, preferred a checklist approach. (I especially loved the checklist)

From my perspective as an end user, my biggest issue was that our sales team did not use Wrike. This meant we had to duplicate communications with them. For example, we did document our completed tasks in Wrike and detail how we did them for management, only to repeat the process in Salesforce for the sales team. On the plus side, using Wrike tickets allowed us to communicate freely and be more precise in our messages to the sales team in Salesforce. Even so, the main drawback was that we no longer use Wrike. Upper management decided we needed something more granular, and after tweaking Wrike as much as we could, we switched to a sales support request system within Salesforce. It works, but I do miss Wrike.

For each request, a new task gets created today. If I need to approve several items, I end up with multiple tasks for each approval, and once completed, I lose access to the history. This can lead to some disorganization over time. Additionally, I cannot filter tasks or keywords to locate a specific request, which further contributes to disorganization. These issues are better managed through email.
