“fast and very helpful
Pros
The software is fast and responsive and I really appreciate how well it works. It has been very useful and I have found many ways to use its features and resources well.
Cons
One thing that could be better as per me is the clarity of some messages since they aren't always easy to understand. Also the manual seems like it could use some improvement.

“Really like the clear dashboard
Pros
It makes inventory management pretty simple and its strong data features help smaller insurance and finance teams keep a close eye on assets and spending through clear, transparent dashboards that are simple to follow.
Cons
From time to time, teams run into minor bugs or a few UI problems which can slow down onboarding for new users or lead to short interruptions in data syncing and reporting.

“Offer fast and reliable support
Pros
Whenever questions come up, the support team responds quickly. There are also plenty of APIs and integration options available for shops, PIM systems and other tools. The onboarding is also well done and the online academy is fully included which helps a lot.
Cons
At times the system works a bit slow and that affects all manual tasks that depend on it. We would also like more dynamic options in the order process since we work with many dynamic pricing sources that we still have not been able to synchronize.

“convenient cloud access but not problem free
Pros
This being cloud-based is a real advantage since it can be used from anywhere and on any computer, smartphone or tablet as long as there is an internet connection.
Cons
A lot of the logistics workflows either do not offer enough functionality or require too many separate steps just to complete a single task. This is especially noticeable in areas like inventory optimization, product management and return processing.

“Creating individual reports is easy
Pros
Creating custom reports is very easy with the reporting module and its built-in AI. That module is extremely versatile and lets you do almost anything. Data can also be shared with customers, logistics providers and others through many different channels, with a lot of room for individual customization.
Cons
It is clearly geared more toward D2C/B2C than B2B. Though it still works well enough for B2B use cases but in some areas you have to rely on a few workarounds.

“right ERP solution for me
Pros
Xentral Software interface is clean and well organized. Even though the system itself is quite complex, a lot of it still comes across as user friendly. Plus the many integrations make exchanging data with other systems very easy which saves me a lot of manual work. I also really appreciate that it can be expanded in a modular way. As I am able to turn on exactly the functions I actually need and that makes the whole system very flexible.
Cons
When it comes to very specific settings, customizations or reports, there can be a bit of a learning curve and sometimes outside help is needed. I'd also occasionally wish for faster responses from support. That said the advantages clearly outweigh these points for me overall.

“Strong ERP for dynamic teams
Pros
Xentral is a very capable ERP overall especially for e-commerce where it covers a wide range of needs. What convinced us most is the modular structure of the system as almost every process can be customized to fit individual needs. Also shipping runs reliably and with a high level of automation, it has made our daily operations much easier. Even with more complex setups, such as multi-channel sales or custom workflows, there is usually a workable solution within the system. The new interface was also an important step toward better integration and automation. Plus being able to connect external tools and platforms efficiently is from our perspective, a clear advantage. And since the middle of last year, it has noticeably been moving in the right direction as updates are coming regularly, new features are being added and usability has improved in a visible way.
Cons
There are things you would normally expect to be standard especially if you already know other ERP providers that are either not included as standard in Xentral or are missing entirely. Quite a few small details make you wonder why those areas were not fully thought through. Even today, prices still cannot be transferred automatically from this tool to all marketplaces. There are also ongoing shortcomings when it comes to creating credit notes. For marketplaces in particular, too much manual follow-up is still required and credit notes still have to be paid out manually on the marketplace side. I also have to say that in recent years, price negotiations often resulted in noticeable price increases while the level of service stayed the same. To be fair though it has had a revised pricing model since April 2025 and in my opinion that version is structured much more fairly.

“ideal for mid-sized companies
Pros
One of the things I like most about Xentral is how user-friendly and flexible it is. A lot of processes can be customized to fit our needs which has genuinely helped us make our workflows more efficient. Also integrations with other tools work without any hassle and the dashboard is laid out clearly so the most important information is visible right away. The support team also deserves credit as they respond quickly, are helpful and simplifies things.
Cons
There are a few smaller weak points in the user management especially when it comes to assigning specific permissions to different users. Also some new features could probably be released faster even though there are already a few promising ideas on the roadmap. But at the moment the biggest issue is the new Connect module which has been heavily promoted but still does not cover all the functions that the old shop importer already offered.

“Great software overall
Pros
Almost everything in the system can be handled and configured on your own which is a big plus. The reports are especially impressive to me as beyond the standard ones, it's very easy to create additional, alternative or more detailed reports because they are simply based on SQL queries. Also the whole system is built in a modular way so you can add apps for different needs at a very fair price. Even the performance is good, the value for money is excellent and the interfaces and modules we use work without any issues. On top of that the system is generally very stable overall.
Cons
Some parts of the menu navigation seem a bit unmanageable and a few menu items are hidden in places you would not normally look. Also it is not simple to find many of the field names needed for SQL-based reports. In some cases, you even have to log directly into the MySQL database just to track them down. Also support should be approached carefully because the information provided is not always correct. For example, we use the Free Article module and at one point it did not work for one product for reasons that were unclear. Support told us the problem was that more than two articles were not possible. Only after we pushed back and shared a test case showing clearly more than two articles did the real solution come out. But the issue was actually caused by a special character in the product name. And if we had not questioned the answer, we probably would not have received the fix and would not have been able to use the app as needed. That part was unfortunate.

“The best ERP system I have ever worked
Pros
Xentral covers all the functions needed to run and manage a business. What I really appreciate is how well it can be tailored to specific industry or personal needs through its wide range of additional modules. The costs are also very reasonable for what you get. Another big advantage is that you do not need a programmer all the time because many adjustments and configurations can be handled on your own.
Cons
The only real downside that shows up in day to day use is that it cannot handle average purchase prices. This becomes something you have to watch very carefully when it comes to inventory valuation and monthly reporting. Unfortunately those figures then have to be corrected manually afterward. That creates a lot of extra work for a missing function especially since purchase prices change constantly these days and businesses need to keep a very close eye on contribution margins.

“Good ERP with many functions
Pros
There is a lot packed into Xentral such as a broad feature set, a professional overall solution and an implementation process that was guided very well. Considering how many functions it offers, the usability is quite decent and it's currently being revised as the first screenshots already look very promising. You can clearly tell that they have been moving fast after the major investment rounds. But thats partly a downside right now because with so many new hires especially in support, the quality is not always as consistent as it should be. Still, looking ahead a lot is likely to improve and it seems to be in a strong position.
Cons
At the moment it is still showing some typical growing pains. It was not as noticeable in the beginning and it will probably improve again soon but right now it does come up here and there. Also usability still has room for improvement and behind the scenes especially in the database, parts of the system feel pretty legacy.

Pros
Having all our marketplaces, online shops and shipping carriers connected through Xentral has been a big advantage. We no longer need to manually create orders, invoices, shipping labels and similar tasks which saves a lot of time. The overall workflow is fairly self-explanatory too and there are plenty of customization options to adapt the system to our needs.
Cons
To me the returns process still feels underdeveloped. Pros
The integrations with ecommerce platforms, payment providers and external systems like warehouse management tools used by logistics partners work really well. The amount of automation in the standard order workflow is outstanding too which means the team can spend their time on exceptions instead of manually touching every single order. Overall it saves a huge amount of time.
Cons
A few bookkeeping functions still need improvement especially bank reconciliation for collective payments and allowances where a refresh and additional functionality would help with these tedious but necessary tasks. Batch and lot number handling, along with best before date tracking, also isn't fully connected across every area. Plus some useful stock movement features are only available for items that don't use batch or lot numbers and expiry dates.

“Flexible and options can hide
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is how flexible the processes are. We can set things up to fit our business now and adjust them later as your company changes. It is also user-friendly enough to get started quickly and if preferred, you can even keep everything contact-free and simply use the 14 day demo. Also the software is improving fast, with continuous development that gives confidence for the future. The newer support models are also a real plus especially because response times are quick.
Cons
Some options can be quite hidden so it may take deeper knowledge of the software to discover everything that's available. Though the wide range of modules and overall complexity make it suitable for many different use cases but that can also be challenging. Also ERP implementation is generally not simple so it is important to plan properly from the start. I feel like having strong support and good implementation guidance makes a big difference here.

“Live within one week
Pros
Even though Stern Technic was only just established, we knew from the start that we did not want to operate without an ERP system. As an engineering company, it's very important for us to maintain a clear view of our projects and available resources. And since we were already familiar with Xentral through Stern Didactic, choosing it again was a quick and natural decision. The whole rollout with the team was handled quickly and without any issues and we were fully operational after only one week. From our perspective that's really exceptional. If I could add one small wish, it would be a dark mode because that would be very cool to have.
