Pros

I converted from Trello because of the views. However, Trello is better when showing images. With Trello, the image displays nicely in the cards, but with Zenkit, you have to click on the card to see the full image. I like the fields options, especially the reference fields. I am also converting some Evernote projects because I like the visual representation with Zenkit.

Cons

After using Zenkit for an hour or so, my computer (MacBook Air) gets bogged down. I have to restart the computer. When I use the program on my iPad, I don't have the memory problem.

Very flexible. The different views over the same data really sold it for me. I can brainstorm with a mind map, work on individual tasks on a Kanban board, use a grid for mass maintenance, all over the same data with much less setup overhead than something like Notion. I even use it to plan my holidays.

Cons

Most of my initial frustrations have been addressed. I was frustrated initially with the lack of an API, but they were just prioritizing development, and this is now released. The mind-mapping took a bit of getting used to compared to, say, FreeMind, but not having to re-key anything going from Brainstorm to Kanban made it worthwhile.

Pros

I like that Zenkit treats my list of issues as a database and provides me many ways to look at it and manipulate it. This was the initial hook for me and it's kept me hooked. I can view my issues as a list, a kanban board, a table, a hierarchy, and a mind map. These are just the views I use.

Cons

The user interface took a bit of getting used to. My issues can become cluttered as I add more custom fields. I am still getting used to how the filters work as well.

it is very affordable with a sleek interface that is very intuitive. There is excellent documentation for its many uses as well as video tutorials and blogs that are invaluable to new users.

The data storage limits are relatively low. Free users can store up to 1GB of file attachments, but "Plus" users ($9/mo) only receive 6GB.

this software seemed to have quite a lot of features. There seemed to be a lot of different capabilities. The different options available seemed a little bit overwhelming.

I did not like how the software was not very intuitive. I needed a simple to-do list, but everything seemed like it was too complicated.

I love how easy it is to use and how much stress it takes off of me. I could not ask for a better way to organize.

I do not care for the website's first appearance, but that is just my opinion. I think it does not do the app justice.

It is simple, easy to use, and very user-friendly. I love the Zenkit views which are data views of things like Kanban boards, List, Calendar, Table, and Mindmap. These views help me visualize my tasks in ways that suit me, and in just one click too.

Nothing. There is not much to dislike about this software at all, and this is a solid project management application.

The best thing about Zenkit is how many different options are available for me to use to store information. I really like the mind map option. Zenkit makes it easy to organize my work life. It is very beneficial to have one place where I can track my goals and projects. It is also not too complicated for users.

No cons to report here. Even the price of the upgraded version is not too bad, unlike some other services on the market.

Sometimes it gets distracting. If our group exceeds 5 members, upgrading to a premium plan becomes necessary, which poses a significant challenge.

There is quite a bit of movement since Zenkit is still a startup. The layout changes frequently, occasional bugs pop up, and features are constantly evolving. However, this can be a plus if you want a system that's continuously improving.

it is completely customizable and provides all the features I need to manage a large and rapidly updating pool of law school applicants. It allows me to stay on top of each potential student in a way that makes sense for me, unlike the standardized software solutions selected by the larger organization.
