Rent Manager is an all-inclusive package encompassing customer information, billing, collections, and accounting. We generate PDF copies of customer statements and forward them to a mailing service, which sends out bills and a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) to each customer for less than $1.00 per mailing. The Rent Manager system seamlessly handles credit and debit card transactions, with the customer's account being automatically credited and the funds deposited directly into our checking account upon payment. Customers appreciate the convenience of easily accessing their outstanding balances and making payments. The level of customer support is superb, with every call promptly addressed by knowledgeable representatives or appropriately directed to someone who can assist. Rent Manager works exceptionally well for water meter reading too. Our meter reader employs a "drive by" meter reading device and then logs into Rent Manager to input the readings. With the press of a button, the software deducts the previous month's reading, calculates the billing amount, and posts it to the customer's account. We have a standard sewer charge, which requires just one more button press. The statement is then prepared in PDF format and promptly emailed to the print house, which mails the statement on the same day.

Cons

Since we're located in Western New Mexico and Rent Manager is based in Ohio, there is a slight delay of one or two seconds in the system.

Pros

I love the ability to create my own reports, customize various aspects of the system using User Defined Fields, and adjust settings to align with our business requirements. Rent Manager also seamlessly integrates with other software solutions.

Cons

The onboarding process can be overwhelming due to the multitude of settings and options. It's crucial to fully understand the settings before implementing them.

Pros

The customer service provided by Rent Manager is truly exceptional. Whenever I encounter problems or have questions, they promptly address my concerns. In cases where the representative doesn't have an immediate answer, they diligently research the matter and quickly get back to me.

Cons

The interface, in my opinion, appears very outdated. It took a significant effort to become accustomed to it and navigate it in a meaningful manner.

Rent Manager encompasses virtually every tool we need, granting access to tenants and owners alike, all while maintaining a well-organized structure.

Cons

While Rent Manager can be accessed through internet browsers, I would like to see further improvements and enhanced functionality. It's already good, but I have high hopes for it to become even better.

Pros

The best feature according to me is the agile implementation. Integrating the software becomes easier when there is familiarity with agile terminology and knowledge.

Cons

The time spent on an end task should reflect either on the story or task, which would then be displayed on the selected Agile implementation dashboard.
