Late fees handle themselves and I don’t argue anymore

Pros

Late fees used to be awkward. I’d either forget to apply them or end up explaining them to tenants. Now they’re automated, calculated, and just there. What makes it better is that all conversations stay tied to that tenant and unit, so if something comes up, I can see the full thread and not rely on memory

Cons

Some of my older renters had a hard time getting used to the interface so maybe it would be better to work on that and make it easier?

RentPost lease renewals are absolutely perffff

Pros

1. Lease templates + stored data mean I don’t rewrite contracts every time. Tenant info auto-fills, which saves stupid amounts of time. 2. Renewal reminders actually show up early enough for me to act, not panic. 3. Everything ties back to the tenant profile, so I’m not digging through folders to check terms.

Cons

The template editor feels a bit dated. It works, just not super smooth. But the advantages I get overshadow everything

The integrations on RentPost saved me from doing the same work twice

Pros

1. API connections let me sync data with my other tools without re-entering everything. 2. Cloud access means I can check stuff from anywhere, even during property visits. 3. Real-time updates keep everything accurate across systems.

Cons

1. Some integrations need a bit of manual setup to get perfect. 2. Not every tool I use has a direct plug-and-play connection

The only CRM that I feel like don't suck entirely while draining

Pros

1. Keeping track of tenants, owners, and vendors all in one place makes my life way easier, no more sticky notes or Excel chaos. 2. The ability to log every interaction ensures nothing falls through the cracks, and I can pull up a history of conversations in seconds. 3. Having owner-specific dashboards makes updates painless; I can send them reports without extra emails or calls.

Cons

Bulk messaging could be a bit faster when you have hundreds of tenants.

Their support team is the only one I felt like actually cares,

Pros

1. Super responsive via chat and email, never felt left hanging. 2. They get the property management stuff without needing me to dumb it down. 3. I signed up, tried the free 30-day trial, and once I saw how smooth it was, paying $29 plus $1 per unit felt completely fair.

Cons

Honestly, can’t think of any major ones, maybe just sometimes multiple steps for complex stuff, but that’s minor.

One of the only platforms I think is not just hype and

Pros

1. Found RentPost via a Reddit post, and it immediately made sense for my workflow. 2. Automatic late fees enforce rules consistently, which removes awkward money conversations. 3. Everything I need for lease tracking and rent collection is in one place. 4. Free trial gave enough time to see how recurring charges and messages actually functioned.

Cons

I’d like a few more customization options for the dashboard layout, but that’s minor.

TransUnion reports and trial flexibility features on RentPost made the decision easy

Pros

1. Built-in tenant credit and background checks are straightforward, saving me from juggling external services. 2. The reports are clear, detailed, and integrated directly into the platform. 3. The 30-day free trial gave me enough time to simulate a full month of rent collection and tenant setup. 4. Support during the trial walked me through setup questions without pressure.

Cons

Alerts for when a screening report is ready could be more noticeable, but it’s easy enough to check manually.

Onboarding workflow that is actually easy to understand

Pros

The onboarding workflow is surprisingly thorough. I can set up new tenants with their leases, add-ons, and payments in a single, guided flow. Everything is logically sequenced, so there’s no need to jump between screens or risk missing a step. Tenants seem to get it immediately, and the structured approach prevents me from accidentally skipping details during busy move-ins.

Cons

Some of the form labels could be more descriptive for first-time users, but after one cycle, it’s easy to follow. It’s not too much of a big deal

Onboarding on this platform does not make you wait at all

Pros

Setting up RentPost for the first time was surprisingly smooth. The platform walks you through properties, units, and tenants step by step. I didn’t feel like I needed a tutorial video or to Google a walkthrough. Once I had the data in, recurring charges, rent reminders, and late fees all kicked in without me babysitting them. It felt like the system actually got me.

Cons

Some of the initial import error messages weren’t super clear, so I had to take a moment to troubleshoot.

Heard the accounting was clean on this property management software and that

Pros

1. Transactions automatically categorize in a way that makes sense for property management. 2. Financial reports are clean enough to share directly with my accountant without extra formatting. 3. Filtering by property or date makes reviewing cash flow much faster.

Tenants stopped asking if their payment went through

Pros

1. Tenants receive clear confirmations after paying rent. 2. Payment history is visible so there is no possibility of confusion at all. 3. I no longer need to manually confirm payments. 4. If the trial had been only a week, I would not have noticed this shift. The full 30 days made the difference obvious.

Pros

RentPost’s support walked me through a setup issue step by step and did not make me feel like I was wasting their time. They pointed out what I was overthinking and what actually mattered, which saved me from going down the wrong path. The guidance felt practical instead of overly technical.

A Reddit comment convinced me to try it for compliance tracking

Pros

RentPost keeps lease timelines, document expirations, and important dates visible so nothing sneaks up on me. Alerts actually show up when they matter, which helped me avoid scrambling around renewal deadlines. The kind of trust I have on this platform only came because the free trial was long enough to let me stop testing and start actually using it.

Cons

I’d like more flexibility for customizing recurring legal or compliance reminders.

RentPost lets me stay compliant without all the extra headache

Pros

Lease reminders and document deadlines actually make life easier. I remember one week where three leases were about to expire, and the alerts popped up just in time. I could see everything in one place and did not need to dig through emails or sticky notes. It’s like having a personal assistant keeping track of the details.

A month in and I've never depended on a property management software

Pros

I gave myself 30 days to test RentPost and decide whether to fully switch. The rent reminders worked flawlessly, and the payment history was clearer than anything I’d used before. Maintenance updates kept things transparent for everyone. It didn’t magically solve every problem, but it made things smoother. The UI is vintage, but the core features are an MVP.

Pros

I’m getting real-time credit and eviction reports. It eliminates all the guesswork. 2. The Payshift payment engine is fast. Money transfer speeds are excellent, zero lag on rent day (mostly). 3. The free, month-long test drive was a major pro. No one else offers that without asking for a card.

Pros

What I really like is how RentPost keeps everything in one place. From lease tracking to payment history and maintenance requests, it’s easy to find what I need quickly. Plus, it's 30 days free with no credit card. Most others tap out at 7 or 14.

Cons

1. Status updates can be slow at times 2. Could use better sorting options for old versus new maintenance tickets

RentPost keeps my rent collection on point.

Pros

RentPost’s automated late fees work exactly as they should, saving me from awkward conversations. The online payment system is smooth and tenants appreciate the flexibility. I also like the built-in reports for tenant screening. Only $29 a month and just $1 per unit. Honestly cheaper than most tools I’ve tried.

Cons

The dashboard takes a bit of time to load but honestly, it’s nothing compared to the help it offers.

The only property management software that works for men!!!

Pros

RentPost has been a huge time saver for handling rent collection and tenant communication. The automated reminders mean fewer late payments and less stress chasing tenants. Maintenance requests get logged neatly, and I can easily see what’s open or resolved. The tenant portal is simple and lets renters handle their own updates, which cuts down on my calls.

Cons

1. Reporting features need more options for custom views. 2. Document uploads sometimes glitch or take longer than expected

Loving it

Pros

Not only is it very easy to access but it also works smoothly and functions well across multiple devices we use without any hiccups.

Cons

There is a small fee when I pay rent through the platform but honestly that seems pretty standard with most services like this.

Really like it!

Pros

It covers everything both tenants and landlords need. It is like everything is available in one place which makes it simply the best for both sides. Overall I would say it is a great tool.

Cons

A mobile app would really make things more simple I guess. As a landlord being able to manage stuff on the go would save a lot of time.
