Great Software, Too Expensive

Pros

Turno is truly an exceptional app and software. It seamlessly integrates with Airbnb, streamlining the process of scheduling cleanings. I no longer have to worry about managing cleanings and can easily review the uploaded cleaner photos to ensure quality.

Cons

The drawback of Turno is its high cost. They charge a 5% fee for each clean, both for you and the cleaners. As someone who has 10-12 cleans per month with a $100 cleaning fee, this amounts to $50-$60 per month, which is significantly more expensive than other alternatives (I switched and now pay $5 per month for the same software).

Smooth trial so far

Pros

I was facing difficulties finding a cleaner for my STR until someone recommended Turno (I also listened to the No Vacancy podcast episode about it). I decided to give it a shot, and I was pleasantly surprised by how seamlessly it integrates with the Airbnb website. It's incredible to see a cleaner automatically booked within 30 minutes of receiving an Airbnb reservation, without any effort on my part. The first cleaning went exceptionally well. It's a relief to have a dependable solution for managing this aspect of my STR.

Cons

It's challenging to find information on past cleaning jobs. The interface heavily focuses on upcoming work.

Pros

Turno has been a fantastic tool for assigning our housekeepers to specific properties and managing their schedules. The ability for our cleaners to access guest information, including check-in/out details and stay durations, is incredibly helpful.

Cons

There are many features in the Turno app that I don't actually utilize, and initially, I felt overwhelmed by all of it, especially when trying to implement everything, like inventory. However, once I started using it for what I specifically needed, I fell in love with it!

We highly value the intuitive interface and the automatic addition of cleanings to our calendar. It leaves no room for oversights. Although it's essential to double-check, the system works seamlessly. We also appreciate the platform's feature that allows us to discover new cleaners.

Cons

The only downside we've encountered is the cost. While our system is "free" due to integration with Hostfully, meaning we don't pay a subscription fee, there are platform fees and credit card fees. Consequently, each cleaning incurs an additional $18-$35 in turnover costs.

Cons

One of their cleaners sent a threatening text, mentioning falsifying information to harm my company. Turno/Turnoverbnb took no action, and I'm extremely disappointed in their response. I'm currently reporting them for regulatory review.

Turno for STR Management

Pros

Turno is an excellent tool for scheduling and managing cleaner expectations through checklists. However, the photo feature occasionally experiences glitches in the field.

Cons

The two downsides of Turno are the fees associated with online payments (in addition to subscription fees) and the absence of downloadable reports. While property checklists and photos can be provided, as a management company, we have no way to translate the report for claims or our owners.

Integration to PMS is awful (OwnerRez)

Pros

Cleaners find the interface convenient for scheduling cleaning times.

Cons

The interface with OwnerRez is absolutely terrible. The reservation times and projects are not properly linked to the check-in and check-out times of the stay. I have to manually adjust any early/late checkouts in Turno. Why wouldn't it utilize the check-in and check-out times provided by the integration? Having this information in two different places only leads to miscommunication with cleaners and missed cleanings. It's a poorly designed system.

Pros

Amazing Service- start today!

Pros

I absolutely love that Turno connects directly with my Airbnb calendar, automatically creating projects for all my bookings. My service providers pick up the projects as they come in, and they have been reliable from the beginning.

Cons

The only downside was that it took a few visits with our cleaner and service provider to establish a smooth workflow. However, once we got into the rhythm, everything has been running smoothly.

Its good but can be better

Pros

I love how the app automatically syncs with my Airbnb calendar. I don't need to manually add reservations unless they come from other platforms like VRBO. That's a feature I'd love to see added!

Cons

The app is confusing to navigate. Even after using it for five months, I still struggle to understand its interface. I've canceled cleanings multiple times, yet my cleaners showed up because they didn't receive any cancellation notifications. The communication between the support team and cleaner app needs improvement as they often fail to sync with each other. Additionally, I wish my VRBO calendar could sync with the app to avoid missing reservations made through VRBO.

I've been using Turnoverbnb and I'm very satisfied so far

Pros

Through this platform, I was able to find an exceptional cleaning team in my area. The ability to integrate with other booking platforms/PMS and the array of features are what I appreciate.

Cons

The software is excellent, and I believe it has the potential to become a centralized reservation management system or PMS. It would be even better if it could serve as an algorithm for marketing and advertising rental listings, such as on Google Travel. This would make it a comprehensive solution.

The ease of connecting with local cleaners, receiving and accepting bids, and managing property cleanings through TurnoverBnB is remarkable. Everything I need to know is contained within the system, making the app incredibly useful.

Cons

Some features are not as user-friendly. For instance, adding a new cleaner and assigning work to them has caused issues. I accepted bids from two new cleaners, but for some reason, I couldn't assign them any work. I reached out to customer support, and they had to take action on their end to enable work assignment. The customer support was helpful in resolving the matter.

Cons

It's a bit challenging to ensure that direct bookings made offline are effectively communicated to our housekeeping team. This platform enables me to schedule cleaners with utmost efficiency. The project checklist allows me to provide cleaning instructions and example photos that cleaners must access and complete. Additionally, cleaners can update the inventory, leaving notes and photos of the home's condition and any discovered damage. This enables me to address issues with guests and leave accurate reviews. Auto payments are promptly sent as soon as the cleaner finishes their work.

Cons

Occasionally, cleaners encounter issues with the app, such as being unable to complete a project. It would be beneficial to have an override option where I could complete the job for them through the portal if necessary.
