Pros
This is an excellent addition to Yardi's lineup for small to mid-sized real estate clients. The implementation team was great, and the customer service is exceptional. I highly recommend this product to our clients.
Cons

Pros
I appreciate having all my properties within the same accounting system. It makes it much easier for me to determine which property a tenant is associated with when they call.
Cons
I didn't enjoy the implementation process. It was challenging to get through, but now that I've successfully set up and started using the product, I'm enjoying it.

The system is easy to learn. Tenants also have the option to pay rent online and access their accounts through Rent Cafe, which reduces the number of calls to our office for assistance.
Cons
It would be fantastic to have an app for our use as well as for tenants to download for Rent Cafe. Using the program on a device other than a computer or tablet feels a bit clunky. Additionally, I would appreciate the ability to easily customize reports.

“Yardi Breeze Premier is a great starting point”
Pros
Most of us in the company were familiar with Yardi Voyager before. As our company continues to grow, Yardi Breeze Premier served as an excellent starting point for us. There are many similarities to Voyager, making it easy to adapt. Setting up a property in Breeze was extremely simple, even though it had been a while since I last did it. The Help Center and instructional videos are amazing resources. I highly recommend it!
Cons
There are a few features in Voyager that are not available in Yardi Breeze. These differences didn't hinder us from completing our tasks, but they did add a few extra steps. However, overall, the drawbacks are minimal.

Honestly, I've been in the apartment industry for 25 years, and Yardi Breeze is the most unsatisfactory management/accounting software I've ever encountered.
Cons
It lacks the most fundamental reporting functionality. The Income Statement doesn't include GL accounts such as Vacancy or Loss to Lease. This means accountants have to manually enter GL entries for these accounts. How can apartment accounting software neglect to include VACANCY on its income statement?! When I reached out for support, no one I spoke to even knew what Loss to Lease was. It feels like Yardi is a sales organization that uses bait and switch tactics. (We were told we needed to upgrade to access basic functionality!) If we had known that Breeze lacks such essential reporting and accounting features, we would have chosen a different software.
