“Great All-in-One System
Pros
This system integrates with a lot of different software so that you can have everything feed into one main place.
Cons
It can be challenging to use initially, especially if you're coming from a different PM database. However, it offers many features and reports.

“Powerful Software, Needs Optimization
Pros
Yardi Voyager is a very powerful option for property management. It's intuitive in the sense that you can manipulate lots of data in different ways, it's organized, and can handle high volume.
Cons
The software could benefit from optimization updates. It's designed for use with Internet Explorer and doesn't work well with other browsers. It also tends to be slow and could be more efficient with some technical cleanup.

“Yardi is a good program with a lot of fun features
Pros
Reporting is easy on Yardi. I like the look of all the reports and find that the two places I can print them from are really easy to find.
Cons
There are many "options" in drop-down menus that aren't actually functional. One major issue is that I can't print a full list of addresses without it being formatted as labels.

“Property Management
Pros
Doing my monthly balancing is very easy with Yardi. I can drill down and figure out where I am off. I like being able to pull reports for the G/Ls for each individual company.
Cons
It took me a long time to learn the software. Every time I speak with customer service, I discover new features that seem to be common knowledge for Yardi users.

“It was Fine until it Upgraded
Pros
The software was easy to navigate and overall usability was fine.
Cons
It still had moments where entries didn't appear and it was very slow. Check scanning wasn't great either. I disliked the PO system implementation and the lack of training during the upgrade.

“Yardi Voyager Review
Pros
I love Yardi's reporting. This software stands out with its accurate reporting and the ability to fix errors to ensure accuracy.
Cons
There's a lack of support. It's best when a company has a dedicated IT department trained in Yardi. Companies without this role or department will struggle.

“Best Property Management Software Available. Period.
Pros
Yardi has the most functions out of any property management software on the market. You can easily see your day/week/month on the home screen and know how many appointments your office has. You can easily see what amenities each unit has individually, which helps when tracking market price increases and quickly justifying them to tenants and higher-ups. You can run any type of report you can imagine; Yardi Voyager has you covered.
Cons
Yardi can't be used without an internet connection, which is inconvenient if your connection is unreliable. Also, the Yardi server often goes down, and customer service is hard to reach. Training new users on Yardi Voyager is also challenging; once they get it, they do well, but beginners often make errors and can't delete duplicate guest cards.

“Our go-to apartment management software
Pros
Fairly easy to navigate, with lots of different ways to get where you need to go. Plenty of additional integrations with other software (RealPage, Knock, BlueMoon, RentCafe) that will automatically pull information for guest cards and resident profiles. Seemingly infinite customization for different use cases so that you can tailor and tweak your Yardi experience to be exactly what you need.
Cons
You can't delete duplicate or erroneous guest cards or roommates in resident profiles. Sometimes it takes a long time to pull pricing from an external source like YieldStar.

“Yardi Voyager Property Management Software
Pros
Diverse, functional, widely used throughout the property management industry, covers commercial and residential equally, and has fantastic accounting functionality.
Cons
The setup is time-consuming, there's a steep learning curve if you're not familiar with the software, and it can't be used offline.

“One of the most challenging parts of my job is managing Yardi.
Pros
It offers a comprehensive set of features and many modules like RentCafe that are native to the environment, meaning no need for third-party software integration. Tech support usually responds quickly.
Cons
You really need your own Yardi tech department to fully utilize it. Without that, working with a Yardi consulting firm becomes crucial for customizing the software or implementing new features. The system treats roommates differently from "primary" leaseholders, which is frustrating. Moving roommates in and out of the system is a nightmare for accounting. Customizing the leasing process and documents was so difficult that I had to fire Yardi from the job and hire an outside consulting firm. Yardi refunded my support hours, which was good. The workflow doesn't suit places like Boston or New York. The concept of a broker is foreign to Yardi. If you own or manage a single large property with in-house leasing, there's no problem. But if you own multiple properties in urban areas and rely on outside brokers, choose a different platform. Yardi support techs can be frustrating, and there's no single person responsible for my account. I've been waiting over three months for the correct version of my annual invoice.
