“Yardi Voyager - Everything you need for Property Management in One

Pros

Pulling reports with Yardi is extremely easy. They offer various reports that other property management software companies don't. I also love the dashboard, which provides a quick overview of the property in one screen. You can see occupancy, showings, move-outs, and more right away, whereas other software requires multiple reports.

Cons

The software's interface/style is my least favorite aspect of Yardi. Other management software, like ResMan, looks much more modern.

It was very simple to use and made my job easier. It was easy to keep track of residents' accounts and service requests.

The learning curve was steep when we switched from a different software program.

The different ways to view reports are nice. I love that I can look at numbers in great detail or summarize them for a quick review.

Cons

There are so many options and functions that I don't and can't use. It would be nice if each user could customize their options to fit their needs.

There are many ways to access a function or menu. It's easy to navigate and locate financials at both the property and individual resident levels.

Cons

If you use the basic Yardi, you can't access all the functions, even though they're listed. There are areas to input data but no way to get it into a spreadsheet.

The outdated user interface can be hard to navigate, and there are frequent bugs.

Yardi is simple to use and easy to learn. We implemented it a few years ago, and it has worked well for us. We use many different features in it.

It's expensive, and so is the support.

Reports are easy to find and view. Some software makes it hard to find the reports you need, but Yardi Voyager is simple.

Yardi Voyager has a lot of bugs that cause the software to timeout and freeze in the middle of tasks.

Ease of use, and they customize reports for my company's specific needs upon request through my home office.

Cons

Occasionally, we get an error message, but that might be due to the servers/internet connection rather than the software.

Yardi Voyager is highly customizable and robust in its core financial platform. This software combines operational property management with accounting backend software for AR, AP, GL, and core financial reporting in one tool. There are also many add-on modules for various industries, allowing for a single-stack system (Investment Management, Construction, Facilities Management, Legal process tracking, insurance tracking...).

Cons

The learning curve for administering the system is steeper than some comparable systems; you'll likely need a consultant for support and training. Custom reports require a developer.

I use this program daily at my job, and it's awesome. I've used many programs like Yardi, but none compare! They are always updating and introducing new features!

I can't find any cons. I love everything about the program!

As a temp, I'm only with the company for a short time, and this software was very easy to adapt to and learn. Each tab is pretty self-explanatory, and once you get the hang of it, it's easy to navigate.

Cons

Sometimes, control numbers don't disappear even if they've been dealt with. It can be confusing when there are pages of invoices in the software to process.

It's difficult to figure out how to use and not intuitive. It makes onboarding properties too complicated.

Pros

This is my favorite program for construction. Not only can you easily add contracts, view details, post batches, and run checks, but the program is also useful in transitioning from construction to property management. It's the best I've used in my years of construction accounting.

I would like to be able to run multiple windows without delays.

Yardi has a multitude of functions. It feels like they've thought of everything you might need. It's very versatile regarding its features.

Learning how to use the program to its fullest potential takes a lot of time and effort. It seems to involve a lot of clicking or steps to get where you need to be compared to other programs I've used.
