Yardi Voyager one of the greatest programs ever

Pros

The simplicity of navigating through the program is great. Finding the sections you need quickly is a breeze. It's easy to learn, simple, and keeps everything in one place. I love it.

Cons

Some areas are restricted from my access, but they are available for those who need them.

Yardi Makes Residential Property Management a Breeze

Pros

I value the different methods available to access information, which make it simple for me to tailor it to my requirements.

Cons

It can be slow to retrieve information during key accounting times, such as rent day or month-end. We've also had issues integrating our third-party tenant portal with Yardi's Tenant Promotion function. I have a ticket in, and they are investigating. Tech support is generally good, but they often overlook the documents uploaded with help tickets, causing unnecessary delays.

Pros

It's a comprehensive package that includes everything necessary to manage rental properties. The Canadian module is a great help too.

Enjoyed Using Yardi

Pros

Easy to use, with logical step-by-step processes. My favorite part was the blue/gray screen in Yardi's software, which never strained my eyes.

Cons

I didn't use the customer support feature much, but I rarely needed Yardi assistance.

Yardi Voyager - Thumbs Up!

Pros

Ease of use tops my list for Yardi Voyager. Our company switched to Yardi from another Real Estate Management Software about 12 years ago, bringing us into the 21st century. I love being able to scan invoice images so they are readily available when needed, reducing the need for hard-copy files.

Cons

Customizing reports can be time-consuming and possibly costly, though this may be more related to our system administrators than Yardi itself.

Do not purchase this software!!

Pros

Nothing. Even the UI is terrible. Their conference was fun, but the product is awful.

Cons

It is overly complicated. I've used other software that is more robust and simpler to use. Yardi has increased my workload, making me spend an entire day on a single task.

Yardi for financial reporting

Pros

My favorite feature of Yardi is the ability to drill down to the original transaction to see how it was coded and view the associated PO and invoice if applicable. The ease of finding detailed information is very helpful in creating financial reports.

Cons

The inventory management module needs significant improvement. We've made it work for our needs, but I'd like to see enhancements.
