“efficient business handling”
Pros
It has made our entire business run more efficiently. Being able to manage inventory and orders accurately has made a huge difference. Sarah has been amazing throughout the whole process and has provided outstanding customer support every step of the way-she's truly the best!!
Cons
We do not really have any complaints about this tool or our overall experience. The only minor downside was integrating it with some of our existing platforms that did not have direct API connections to it but we were able to find solutions.

“helpful support and shipping tools”
Pros
One thing that's worked really well is the customer support, along with the shipping integrations. The option to create a canned email is also useful although it would be even better if there were more templates available for receipt emails.
Cons
Inventory and style management feel a bit limited especially because you can't delete parameters when you've been using AIMS over multiple years. The size scale setup can also be challenging. Lately, the system has been slower with the current integrations and the online support is hard to navigate unless you already know the exact keyword or phrase AIMS uses. Finding answers can be frustrating but the live support team is very helpful.

“It is user-friendly”
Pros
This software is very user-friendly and has a clean, modern design. Navigation is simple and whether I'm working on integrations or just looking up a style, the whole process is smooth. Having everything I need in one place is a huge plus. I've spent a lot of time working in EDI so having a dedicated section just for EDI helps keep things organized for both training and everyday work.
Cons
The only downside I've noticed is that because of how much data we have, the connection can lag at times but it doesn't happen very often.

“Highly recommended from my side”
Pros
Using it has been very simple. I can keep an accurate count of my inventory, run orders and handle shipping directly through their website.
Cons
I have not come across any issues with this tool. I have only positive things to say about it and I would definitely recommend it to others.

“apparel-focused tool”
Pros
The software felt simple to use since the beginning. It came across like a tailored version of what we had in QuickBooks but much more centered and focused on the apparel business. I was actually introduced to AIMS by my Finance professor at FIDM and she recommended the brand. Thankfully, she did!
Cons
I really don't have any complaints. If anything, I just wish we had explored more reports and spent more time with the AIMS team since they were always ready to train and support us.

“Connecting it to website is complex”
Pros
Relatively affordable ERP for growing fashion brands. It does a good job of keeping our wholesale sales information and inventory data in one place.
Cons
We tried on two different occasions to connect the company website with it and both attempts had to be scrapped because we kept running into problems. When we made the move to Shopify Plus, I was assured the integration would not be an issue. Later I found out it had only been tested with standard Shopify, not Shopify Plus. In the end, the company stopped using it and switched over to another tool.

“decade of efficient operations and excellent support”
Pros
After 10 years with it, we're still very grateful for the support and the staff who have helped us along the way. My warehouse team picked up the features quickly which made the transition and daily use much easier. It gave us a single place to handle order entry, picking, packing, invoicing, sending data to our factor and forwarding commissions to the sales team. The data is also flexible to review in different ways. On top of that, custom programs can be built and we even used one specifically for packing in our factory in China.
Cons
There were only a few complaints from my warehouse team. One thing we would have liked is the ability to enter a specific reason for a return directly on the RA form instead of relying on generic return reasons. Also, if an invoice needed to be updated or changed that wasn't possible so the only option was to void it and create a new invoice number.

“responsive support for business”
Pros
Whenever I need help, the support team responds quickly and is genuinely helpful. When the platform is used properly, it can bring a lot of value to the business.

The package would be better if it included more training resources.

“Too complex for small shops”
Pros
Only useful part is being able to calculate the true cost of items using the bill of materials. Order picking and invoicing is also just fine to work with. The software seems packed with features that could be helpful only for large manufacturers supplying department stores.
Cons
Using the software is overly complicated and support takes too long to get back to you. Even when they finally respond, the issue never seems to be fully resolved. It really is not a good fit for a small manufacturer.

“limited scalability”
Pros
Getting around the system is pretty easy and it didn't take long for me to become comfortable using it. The style input process is also kept very simple so entering new styles feels organized. It won't require you to put in a lot of extra effort or complicated steps.
Cons
It works well for a smaller company and covers what I need for day-to-day tasks. But I noticed that the the platform starts to show some of its limitations as the business grows. I also noticed that it seems to depend on having a tech pack prepared beforehand so the workflow isn't as smooth if that information hasn't already been put together.

“Flawed OTS”
Pros
I can upload data from Excel and export it back whenever I need to. It saves me time and makes it much easier to work with information outside the system when necessary.
Cons
My experience with the multi-warehouse setup was not good specifically when it comes to the OTS report. It doesn't accurately display the orders for the warehouse I've selected so its hard for me to trust the information I'm looking at. I have to spend extra time double-checking the data instead of relying on the report.

Tabs are very self-explanatory so there's usually little guesswork involved in navigation.

“cross-module navigation”
Pros
There are multiple ways to look up the same information. For example I can view orders through the Orders module or directly from the Customer Master module and that makes it much more convenient when I'm working.

“easy to learn”
Pros
Didn't take long for me to learn and I got through my daily tasks pretty quickly using this. Works well with the latest software updates on my computer.
Cons
It's kinda unstable when it comes to internet connection and that causes the system to freeze if the wifi isn't perfect. Slows down a bit after a long day.

“detailed inventory reports”
Pros
Detailed reporting and accurate inventory tracking are major strengths. They allow us to closely monitor production and manage inventory down to even the smallest materials and components. The system gave us good visibility into production and made it easy to track the materials associated with each cut through BOMs.
Cons
Raw-material inventory and costing can become complicated particularly when allocating trims to production batches and accounting for varying freight costs.

“updating it is hell”
Pros
Once you start moving through the system it becomes clear pretty quickly that what you enter is basically what you get back out.
Cons
When updates are made the changes do not always carry across different functions. I had to do a lot of manual step-by-step work to make sure everything got updated properly in multiple places. It could also really use a refresh because parts of the system feel a bit antiquated for today's standards.

“its basically perfect”
Pros
The user-friendly layout and quick customer support response instanlty make a strong impression. The software integrates very well and the flexibility it offers when searching for information is excellent.
Cons
What would make it even better is having more options for custom reports. The predefined reports are good but it would be really helpful to have more flexibility when choosing which fields to include.
