AIM Software and POS System for retail sales
Pros

I can execute sales quickly, and tracking serialized inventory and sales is detailed and swift.

The BEST option for almost any industry.
Pros

It's highly customizable. Along with automating some processes, I can have everything done with just a click or a touch.

Cons

I had to watch a lot of videos to learn how to set up and use AIM. I also needed to create specific training documentation for my company.

An overall great product
Pros

There's a lot to understand in this program, but once I got the hang of it, it became an all-in-one package that's fast, simple, and efficient to use. The integration between our website, payment processing, and shipping makes my life easier. The program is constantly updated with improvements and quality of life updates, making the software faster and better to use. Tech support is very responsive to my needs and requests, and development has made many changes to the software at my request to better fit my needs.

Cons

The Vortx web platform that integrates with AIM has many limitations, and the custom report tool is tough to use. The SQL platform version 12 uses is powerful, but the hardware and software startup costs (especially SQL) can be high. There's no good solution for working with products sold in both physical and digital formats.

Great product!
Pros

AIM's easy for me to navigate through the menu options. The layout among the different screens is simple.

Cons

I haven't upgraded my software to version 12 yet. That being said, the version I'm currently using isn't online-integrated as far as the lesson module goes. If that's changed in the newer version, then I have no cons.

Best A&D and POS software I have used
Pros

The team at AIM gave me all the support I needed to set up the software. I can barely turn a computer on, and they were able to set it up so I could start using it immediately. Customer support is flawless. The price was well below competing software and still had all the features I could ever use plus some.

Cons

I've experienced some lagging issues, but the AIM team is working with me to resolve this at no cost.

Easy to use for the non-techy.
Pros

It's the app I use for every aspect of our business. From POS to inventory control, I have it all in one place. The simple menus and features within each module are easy to navigate.

Cons

I feel the system is a bit overcomplicated with so many pop-up windows. Also, transactions seem to involve too many steps for simple procedures.

TriTech AIM Review
Pros

We sell firearms, and the built-in A&D Book is a critical component of our business. Once set up, this feature makes tracking firearms incredibly simple.

Cons

Managing sale prices for my products needs to be revamped; it's currently difficult and convoluted to use. In my opinion, this is the area of the software that could most benefit from improvement.

AIM is the best fit!
Pros

There are many POS systems on the market today, but not many geared toward our industry. It's flexible and customizable. It's so easy to use.

Cons

There are very few things I like least because when I do, features can be implemented. I guess what I like least is having no way to print a claim check when customers drop off their vacuum. That said, I created a feature request that they're working on as I type this review.

Retail software
Pros

We started as a small company in 2004 using QuickBooks. Then I hired a developer to create a product for retail, rental processing, and inventory control. After a year and $50,000 later, that failed. I discovered AIM, and it did everything we needed. Those were bad times, but their software is great, and the support is 100% perfect. They are obsessed with solving problems and take care of any needs. There is a 60-day period to get proficient with the software, but after that, you will be very happy. The option of a second web hosting company is a downside and expensive.

Cons

They are limited to only one web hosting company, which isn't good. This company is very expensive and a security liability.

Small Business Review
Pros

The program has tons of features, functions, and reports, which is a definite positive for businesses that need to keep track and monitor various aspects of the business. For a larger company with a wide-scale business, this program would be a very useful asset.

Cons

As a very small business, I found this program overwhelming to learn and operate. Part of that is my fault for not having the time to watch the tutorials and explore the program fully, as I only have a few employees and we're only open three days a week. A simpler program would probably have been a better choice for me, but for larger companies, this would work great.
