Pros

Whenever it appears among the payment options for a product, I choose it almost every single time. I've been using it for a long time now and as I've mentioned before, the reason is simple, it gives me a real sense of security with transactions and offers excellent protection in case of a possible scam. That peace of mind makes a big difference. I recommend PayPal because it's user-friendly, very simple to use and even just as a secondary card or backup payment method, I find it more than useful.

Cons

To be honest, I haven't explored or used every single feature in depth but based on how I use it, I still haven't come across any real problems worth mentioning. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that, unlike some similar services, there doesn't seem to be an option to receive money through inviting other users.

Pros

PayPal is really excellent for making online payments securely. If an issue ever comes up, you can open a dispute and get refunded very quickly which is a really valuable feature.

Cons

It's a shame that a lot of platforms and brands still don't offer PayPal as a payment option. Because of that, you still can't use it everywhere.

It's one of the most useful payment software options out there and it also feels like one of the most secure.

Cons

It's still missing tools for more convenient digital signatures especially ones built directly into the company instead of relying on external or third-party services.

I handle all my payments with it and I also receive my clients' payments through it. It's fast, simple and there are no fees.

The app feels flawless to me, I really have nothing to complain about and haven't run into any drawbacks.

It does a lot in one place which is a big reason I keep using it. The account security during password resets gives me peace of mind and it also helps me stay on top of my spending and deposit history. Having direct deposit available is another big plus. It feels very versatile and handles multiple tasks really well.

Cons

I don't have anything negative to say about PayPal. I'd definitely recommend it.

“Excellent for dollar payments”

Pros

Using this platform to charge in dollars and handle online transactions has been fantastic. The way it manages international payments is really impressive and the whole process feels very practical and convenient.

Cons

One thing I would improve is what happens when money sits in the account without moving. Since it's a financial platform, it would be nice if there were some kind of bonus or daily yield on those idle funds.

Pros

Being able to withdraw and send money from virtually anywhere in the world is a huge plus. The platform also feels very secure which gives me confidence whenever I use it.

The fees are the part I'm not happy with. I really wish they would lower them.

Using it comes with a pretty high cost so you end up paying a lot of money just to use the service.

there's not much positive to say here. You're far better off just paying with your credit card instead.

When problems come up with a seller, they're basically nowhere to be found and don't help resolve anything. Paying directly with your credit card and dealing with your bank is a much better option.

Shopping at different stores feels much safer with it and I know that if anything goes wrong, I'll be able to sort it out. It gives my money an extra layer of protection especially since some banks tend to have quite a few issues.

Cons

The only downside, in my case, was that it took about a week to get my account verified. Other than that, I haven't had any issues.

Across a wide range of websites, e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces, it is commonly accepted which makes it convenient to send payments or receive funds in many different situations.

At times, PayPal can freeze accounts or place them on hold as a security measure or while investigating suspicious activity.

After downloading the app last year and not touching it for a while, I finally started using it last month when I arrived in the UK. I'm really happy with PayPal because it works very fast and feels quick to use.

there's nothing positive I can say here, this was the worst customer support I've ever had to deal with.

Trying to get in touch with them is a nightmare. I spent hours on the phone getting transferred from one department to another and their messaging system is terrible since other departments can't even see the previous messages.

Buying online feels much more convenient with it because it keeps me from entering my payment details every single time I place an order. I can store my information securely and complete purchases in just a few clicks which saves a lot of time and cuts down on the usual hassle especially when shopping across different websites. The extra security is another reason I value it. PayPal Buyer Protection can help when something goes wrong with an order like receiving damaged items, incomplete shipments or nothing at all. That added protection makes me feel more comfortable and confident whenever I shop online. As a freelancer, I also appreciate how simple it is to use.

Cons

One downside is that PayPal's customer support feels limited so dealing with more complicated issues can be frustrating and slow. Another issue is that, despite having its own payment service, it does not support every type of payment which can restrict the options available to customers. And like any online payment platform, there is still some risk of fraud. While PayPal does offer protections for both buyers and sellers, staying alert for possible scams is still necessary.

there's nothing positive I can say about it. The app is terrible.

When my old card expired, I tried to add the replacement but PayPal kept throwing out different reasons for why the new card couldn't be added instead of actually resolving the issue. On top of that, the platform is extremely expensive.

“Amazing option for freelancers”

It has been a really positive experience for me especially as a freelancer. I rely on it to receive payments from clients and the biggest reason I prefer it is because it feels safe and secure. It works very well, gives me confidence when handling money and I can use it almost anywhere. For that reason, I'd definitely say PayPal is an excellent option for just about everyone.

At this point, I honestly haven't come across any real issues with PayPal. I'm satisfied with pretty much everything about it.

this product has always felt very simple and I've consistently been comfortable every time I use it. On top of that, the customer service has been great as well.

I honestly don't see anything that needs improvement, as they've always performed very well in every area where I've used them.

Pros

Getting it up and running takes almost no effort even for someone with very little tech experience. It's basically installed and ready in just a couple of clicks.

Cons

The fees are pretty steep at around 5.6% on average and once a buyer opens a case, it feels like you're already on the losing end.
