Pros

It's part of my routine for both work and personal use every single day. I can send and receive money securely and it gives me peace of mind knowing their buyer protection can cover my costs if anything goes wrong. On top of that, it's free to use and comes with really valuable benefits.

Cons

I've relied on it for years and it has never disappointed me.

The customer experience is quite appealing although I do run into country-based limitations.

Cons

They don't provide any practical solutions for the country restriction I'm dealing with even though for a global platform this should be much easier to resolve. Something as simple as a customer checking account system would help, allowing people to pay for things from there anywhere in the world while keeping our funds protected the way a bank would.

Once you get used to it, it is fairly simple to work with. It connects to an online store without much trouble and being a trusted, well-known brand helps build confidence. Another big plus is that you can withdraw funds right away.

Getting started with the system isn't the most user-friendly experience. Reaching customer support also feels less user-friendly than it should be and the payment processing fees are on the high side.

Handling online payments is quick and almost immediate which makes using PayPal very convenient. It also feels secure and reliable and that really matters when dealing with money online.

The connection with a bank card can be problematic and the geographic limitations are also an issue.

Pros

Being able to send and receive money in different ways, including across countries, is what I value most about PayPal. It's very simple to use and after more than four years with it, I haven't run into any problems. I can access it on both the website and the app though I usually stick with the app because it now supports instant Pix transfers which is widely used here in Brazil and makes it especially complete and convenient for me. On top of that, the rates are very good and in many cases you hardly pay any fees at all.

Cons

It connects with a wide range of platforms but it still doesn't work with all of them. Also, when a business or organization becomes more established and starts growing, I'd rather use my card or another payment option directly on that company's website or through its own processor instead of being sent to PayPal as a third-party checkout.

It feels very simple even on my phone. Transactions are fast, the design looks good and the whole interface is user-friendly.

At this point, I haven't come across anything I dislike.

Getting started with it was quick and linking it to my accounts didn't take much effort. Creating invoices is simple and fast and customers can pay their bills without any hassle. Moving funds over to a regular bank account is also simple and the fee structure is clear enough that it's easy to understand what I'm being charged.

Cons

The transaction fees feel a bit higher compared to some other payment gateways. Bank transfers also take longer than I would expect especially since everything is handled electronically. On top of that, the security measures don't always seem to work in a consistent way.

It has been around for a long time and that really shows in how reliable it is for international payments. It feels dependable and I can count on it whenever I need to send or receive money across countries.

Cons

I honestly don't have any real complaints. The features have all been good and genuinely useful for what I need.

Has been a really positive experience especially because it's so simple to use and lets me manage payments and invoices completely on my own, whether I'm on my computer or using my smartphone. The wallet feature is also very useful for keeping all my cards in one place and the newer option to pay in installments with no interest is a really nice addition. I would definitely recommend it.

Cons

I don't have any major issues to report. If I had to mention something, it's that transferring money from the PayPal account to a bank account can sometimes be a bit slow.
