It is really useful for sending and receiving payments from almost anywhere in the world and creating invoices is very simple.

Cons

It can sometimes block users' accounts without giving a valid reason.

The set up is incredibly simple and it works really well for billing clients in other countries. The whole platform is very user-friendly and sending invoices to clients is simple. Receiving transferred payments is just as simple which makes the process very convenient.

Cons

At the moment, it still doesn't support transactions in certain currencies.

Pros

One thing that really stands out about this software is how powerful it is and how much it can genuinely help people. It also comes with plenty of incentives and rewards that you can claim which makes the overall experience even better. Because of that, I would definitely recommend this software to everyone.

Cons

I don't see anything that needs improvement because everything feels complete and well put together. For me, it has been a very polished and excellent piece of software.

It's really convenient to use when shopping on websites and sending money to people who use PayPal too.

Cons

This didn't happen in my case but one of my family members has a credit card through them and ran into trouble getting it to work because of the verification process.

Pretty much everyone knows it and its API is fairly simple to work with.

Cons

The transaction fees are higher than with other options on the market and the dashboard feels quite disorganized. On top of that, customer support is slow when it comes to resolving issues.

These days, it's pretty much one of the best and safest ways to pay online. It's much more convenient than entering debit or credit card details every single time.

Cons

Every now and then, a fraudulent or duplicate charge shows up. There have also been a few cases where a bill was processed even after being canceled. Sometimes it's on the vendor and other times it seems to be a system error. I've always been able to reach customer service and get everything sorted out even if some cases took longer to resolve than others.

Pros

It is a globally recognized and trusted brand. It's already built in as a payment gateway on most eCommerce websites which makes it very convenient. On the admin side, setup is simple and the interface feels user-friendly to use.

Cons

The cost is noticeably higher than a lot of competing services. They really need to take another look at their pricing before it pushes customers toward other options because brand recognition alone won't keep them on top forever. Newer competitors are bound to catch up and removing the free returns feature recently also took away a valuable benefit for buyers.

“My go-to tool for paying online”

Pros

It has become my go-to for paying online and I also rely on it in my business for invoicing clients and receiving international payments. Those features are where it really delivers the most value for me. Being able to send clients a payment link so they can pay by credit card is a huge advantage and most of them do. As far as I know especially as someone in South Africa collecting payments from overseas, it's still the only payment processor that offers this in a way that works for my needs. It also fits into my business very well and integrates without any hassle.

Cons

Lack of real competition in this space seems to keep the fees quite high. I have no choice but to build those costs into my pricing since receiving money into South Africa is expensive.

Pros

Works well for taking payments on a website and the buyer protection on each transaction helps customers feel more comfortable. At the same time, that protection can backfire since scammers can end up winning pretty easily.

Cons

The fees are on the high side so I'm never thrilled when I get paid through it. I'd much rather a customer choose Stripe because PayPal takes too much of the money. They're also known for holding funds once you hit certain thresholds. On top of that, it comes across as untrustworthy because of its political bias and policies. I really don't like using it but it's hard to avoid.

This software has been one of the best platforms I've used for online payments, whether I'm sending money or transferring funds to friends and family anywhere in the world.

Cons

The only issue I've noticed is a little bit of lag or bugging on my Vivo phone which might just be because of its older processor.

Really useful for purchases. I also appreciate that they almost always back up my transactions with purchase protection. If an order never shows up, filing a complaint is simple and then it takes care of the process from there.

The one area that really needs improvement is the returns process. There was one case where it took nearly two weeks for my client's money to be refunded back to their account.
