It's been really convenient that it works with nearly every place I shop and even when a store doesn't offer it directly, I can still pay using my PayPal debit card. I also rely on it to receive payments for tasks and to send money to family and friends, usually for little to no cost.

The only downside for me was not being able to add a prepaid card to the account to load funds.

The security measures are very strict and at times that can make refunds or complaints feel a bit complicated or slow. Still, it's all meant to protect the user.

I like how easy to use it is. It works like an all-in-one app for handling payments in a small business which makes things much more convenient. Getting started with tracking expenses and incoming payments is simple and without it I'd probably need a few different apps to cover the same features. The fact that it's widely used around the world is another big plus.

Cons

The biggest downside is the fees. After trying several payment services, this one feels like the most expensive option to me. The lower-cost alternatives are usually local providers though so PayPal is still useful when you want to reach a broader customer base. That wider coverage definitely comes at a cost.

Sending money abroad and paying for purchases with it feels simple and secure. Transactions go through instantly and the process doesn't involve a bunch of unnecessary steps.

I really haven't run into any issues. Whenever something comes up, I contact customer support and they stay on top of my case.

Buying things online feels a lot more comfortable with it. Since it's accepted on plenty of websites especially ones I don't fully trust with my financial details, I can make purchases without worrying so much about my information being stored there.

Cons

I do wish it worked on even more websites. Password recovery can be frustrating at times and verification is difficult if I don't have my phone with me. Sending certain payments to other people can also end up being expensive.
