It's very simple to use and I also appreciate how consistently reliable it has remained over the years.

Pros

One thing that really works well with it is the range of security and anti-hacking settings you can turn on. It's also helpful that you can clearly check what was paid for and exactly when each payment happened.

Cons

The part I don't care for is having to keep at least 50 cents in the account and sometimes needing to estimate a higher amount than the actual cost just to make sure the payment goes through.

Its great knowing my payments are covered if there's fraud or an item never shows up especially on places like eBay where you're counting on strangers to actually send what you paid for.

I honestly haven't run into any problems with it so I don't really have anything negative to point out.

PayPal has been a really reliable online payment gateway for me and the payout cycle is easily one of its best features. Another thing I appreciate is the security setup, once a card is linked to one account, it can't be added to another which adds an extra layer of protection.

Cons

Customer support is not good enough. They don't really listen properly and often send a resolution without fully reviewing the whole issue first.

Getting paid or receiving money from anywhere in the world is a big advantage with this app. It has made it much more possible to take online jobs from different countries and actually get paid without much hassle.

Connecting my bank account was difficult and the account limitations can be very restrictive. The most frustrating part is having funds frozen which can be a serious problem.

It has been especially pleasant because it's very easy to use and I really appreciate the refund guarantees it offers.

The biggest downside is still the fees they charge. Around 3.5% feels way too expensive now especially when there are other options available that don't charge anything.

It makes sending and receiving money online really convenient. It's a practical way to pay for goods and services and the fact that it works on mobile devices makes it even more useful. It's also one of the most widely used payment methods in the world which adds a lot of confidence when using it. Being able to access it on both smartphones and computers with an internet connection makes it much more available and helpful in everyday life.

It still isn't accepted on every website. I ran into a few situations where I couldn't use my account because the site didn't offer it as a payment option. Another downside is that it doesn't provide any rewards program for customers which would have made it even more appealing.

One thing that really keeps me using PayPal is how secure it feels. The platform is highly encrypted, seems to monitor every transaction closely and will block activity whenever something looks suspicious or potentially harmful. The interface is also very simple to navigate and understand. I can access it anytime from almost any device, whether I'm on my phone, laptop or desktop. Setting up either a personal or business account for international banking and transfer needs doesn't cost anything which is a big plus. I'm able to send funds very quickly to bank accounts around the world and the reports and activity sections make it simple to keep track of all my financial transactions. It also works really well for buying and selling because I feel protected and I always receive an email receipt after a transaction. Another helpful part is that I don't need to create a new invoice for previous clients since their information is already saved in the system. On top of that, I can send money in whatever currency I need.

Cons

At this point, I really don't have any complaints. It has made things much more convenient for me and I'm genuinely very happy to be using this platform.

Being able to use this platform worldwide is easily the biggest advantage for me. As a freelancer working with clients from different countries, I can receive payments in multiple currencies through a single account and then convert them into my own currency without any hassle.

The only thing I'd change is the look of the interface. I wish the display or overall theme felt a bit more lively.

At first, this seemed like it could be a solid option for me since I needed a way to receive my payments. I got the card and because it can be used like a debit card, I figured it made sense to give it a try.

Cons

That said, it never actually worked for me. I still couldn't figure out why my account got locked or why it just stopped working altogether. Trying to sort it out became such a headache especially since customer service never responded and I couldn't reach anyone for help. The whole experience was extremely frustrating and it honestly felt like a scam.
