“Fast payments, broad acceptance”

Pros

Really simple to use, accepted in most places and payments of any amount come through quickly.

Cons

The fees can be quite high depending on the amount and it doesn't accept boleto.

“Not confusing at all”

Pros

Really easy to use and not confusing at all. Your email address works as your ID so there is no extra information to keep track of other than your password. That makes it really convenient when someone needs to pay you because all they have to do is enter your email address. That is honestly my favorite part about it. Getting your money is simple too since they offer linked debit cards and even prepaid cards made specifically for the account. You can also connect your regular bank account which makes the whole setup even better.

Cons

Identity verification can be a challenge if you do not have an ID. Because of that, there are certain features you will not be able to access unless your identification is verified.

“smooth currency switching”

Pros

Switching from one currency to another across all kinds of transactions is the feature I appreciate most about it.

Cons

Even a minor network interruption can cause transactions to be canceled, the invoice and transaction history need frequent refreshing and the app has also been known to be vulnerable to use by fraudsters.

“Prompt responses from the team”

Pros

This has been a really positive experience because the platform feels user-friendly and secure which makes it simple to navigate and understand the different features available. Transactions are processed very quickly, often almost instantly which is a huge advantage. Being able to add multiple credit card providers, along with the strong security measures in place, makes it a platform I can rely on without hesitation. The customer service is also excellent, as they work with users to resolve issues promptly while respecting their time. On top of that, the option to add and hold different currencies in the account is very useful since it allows us to store funds and use them later without worrying about forex fluctuations affecting every transaction.

Cons

I have not come across any real drawbacks with this software. One big reason is that it keeps evolving, with new features being added regularly that align well with current trends and the needs of today's technology-driven economy.

Pros

Using it feels secure, quick and simple which makes payments really convenient.

Cons

The fees are something I'm not a fan of and I also wish it included the missing option I need.

Everything is presented in a clear, simple way so you can see the overview at a glance.

At times, it's not completely obvious how certain things work or what the right way is to fix them.

I appreciated that it lets me pay for things online without any hurdles.

it feels pretty easy to get scammed on here and getting the account set up and everything configured was a bit difficult and frustrating.

Pros

Online payments feel much more effective with it, the app is simple to use and it connects well with other apps.

Cons

For what I've needed it to do, it has worked fine so I haven't really run into any missing features or processes that were hard to complete. The integration has also been simple especially when there's a need to use it.

“Carries a trusted name”

Pros

When it comes to online business, it carries a trusted name and that really helps customers feel more comfortable doing business with you. Security is also one of its biggest selling points which adds even more confidence.

Cons

There are quite a few fees involved and you should also be prepared for delays with your money especially during disputes. Bank transfers can also take longer than expected and may need more than a couple of days to clear.

“Too many spam issues”

it didn't really turn out the way I expected and I've also been getting a lot of spam.

Cons

The app needs an outside update so customers aren't being sent around in circles.

“Easy to install the app”

Pros

Getting started with it was very simple. Installing the app on my phone, connecting my card and using the service all felt simple.

Cons

The one part that didn't sit well with me was the fee charged on purchases. I understand why there's a commission but the amount felt a bit too high.

“Connects easily with my e-commerce platform”

Pros

Connecting it to my WooCommerce store was pretty simple. The setup didn't take much effort at all, I only had to link my account through the WooCommerce payment gateway settings and it was ready to use.

Cons

Paypal account can sometimes get limited when they detect what they consider suspicious activity. I understand the security reason behind it but there were times when my account was restricted even though I hadn't done anything unusual. When that happens, I have to reach out to customer support and provide the documents they ask for.

“Not fully available in my country”

Pros

I really appreciate how the platform is designed especially the logic behind how it works and the algorithms it uses.

Cons

It is not fully available in my country. In Zambia, you can only send money but receiving money is not supported which makes it very limiting.

“Lots of payout options”

It is a useful way for people to receive money they earn from social media and other platforms. One thing I really appreciate is that it gives us plenty of options for how to use it.

Cons

When I tried to sign up, I ran into an issue adding my phone number. I selected my country but the process got stuck at the phone number step and I couldn't move forward from there.

“Impossible to contact support”

Pros

Before, I really appreciated how convenient the payment process was and more recently the option to pay in installments has been a nice addition.

Cons

The problem is that the delivery and refund protections are no longer what they used to be and above all the customer service is impossible to reach since everything is automated with endless "press 2, press 3" menus. There's no real person to talk to so I decided to stop using this service because if something goes wrong, there's no actual solution.

“Makes payments easy”

Pros

Paying online with it has been really easy, whether I'm sending money to an employee or paying for company goods and products. It makes business payments feel quick.

Cons

It didn't work well for some part-time workers in a few countries since they weren't able to access the funds sent to them.

“My public-facing banking account”

Pros

I've relied on it for years, both for private sales and even as a kind of public-facing banking account and the money-back protection has been a big plus. It's simple to use, switches currencies almost instantly for quick international purchases and lets me send customer invoices in no time.

Cons

Every now and then, I run into problems with the software when trying to log in through different websites that offer PayPal as a checkout option for purchases.

“Pretty decent application”

Pros

We use it for all of our online transactions and it's been a really good application for that.

Cons

There really aren't any major issues, just that like most common online tools, you need an internet connection to use it.

“Lets me see who uses the app”

Pros

Sending money through it is not hard and it's really convenient that I can see which of my contacts already use the app and request payments from them directly.

Cons

The part I don't enjoy is how long it can take for money to show up in my bank account and it's also frustrating when my card doesn't appear and I run into an error after entering the card details again.

“No seller protection at all”

There really aren't any positives I can point to.

Cons

From a seller's standpoint, this has been incredibly frustrating because there is basically no seller protection. Refunds can be issued without requiring the product to be returned first and the system doesn't seem able to catch obvious buyer scams even when multiple email addresses are being used. It also ignores the return policies set on your own website and gives buyers up to 180 days to request a refund. On top of that, buyers can return items after wear or damage and still get refunded, while sellers may receive no return, no photos and no communication at all. It feels completely unfair.
