“Difficult to use”

Pros

It is a simple and secure way to make payments and it used to be one of the best options for sending and receiving money.

Cons

Lately though, it has become expensive. They took payments from our clients and then failed to release the money to us. The interface keeps getting harder to use, with important features buried or hidden. Support also was not available during the times they said it would be open. On top of that, it saves login details and keeps pushing you to stay signed in which makes no sense for something that can pull money directly from your bank account.

Pros

PayPal has been one of the best online banking platforms I've used. It keeps my wallet secure and makes it really convenient to send payments and handle transactions wherever I am.

Cons

Getting started can be a bit difficult at first. There are a lot of features so it may feel overwhelming when you're new to the software and still figuring out how everything works.

“Fast and convenient transfers”

Pros

Getting paid through it is really convenient and the money transfers happen very quickly.

Cons

I don't enjoy being charged a fee when transferring funds to my bank accounts.

“People of all ages know it”

Pros

One of the best things about it is how universal it is. Nearly everyone already has it and understands how to use it which is a big advantage over newer payment apps that some people still aren't familiar with. That makes sending and receiving money with almost anyone really convenient. On top of that, both the website and mobile app are simple and user-friendly. I also really love how fast the bank transfers are.

Cons

There's honestly not much to complain about but if I had to suggest one improvement, it would be adding more cross-border features so moving money between countries and currencies is more convenient.

Pros

this payment platform is simple and it handles transactions really well. The reporting tools are very solid and give a clear view of activity which is a big help. The dispute process is also fairly decent compared to other services.

Cons

Customer service is where things really fall apart. The support team has been horrible to deal with and some representatives come across as dishonest and arrogant.

Connecting it with the other tools we use has been really simple and it removes a huge amount of work from our team's plate.

Cons

Since we're a non-profit, every dollar matters so the fees are really the only downside for us.

Getting money out to my bank happens almost instantly and that's one of the things I appreciate most about PayPal.

I'd still want to see stronger measures in place to better protect businesses.

Pros

Sending or requesting money through PayPal feels simple and getting around the app is easy. I also really like the option to round purchases up to the nearest dollar.

Cons

It could do a better job of helping new users understand the other features since some of them aren't very clear at first.

Pros

It is really fast for online payments. It's one of the quickest options available today, very simple to use and it supports a wide range of languages. It also makes integration with eCommerce platforms and other businesses very simple and the fact that it's free is a big plus.

Cons

The transaction fees can feel pretty high. I also had trouble linking some prepaid cards especially an Ecobank card I used before even though it was active and working fine. In the end, I had to open a bank account just to get around that issue. On top of that, their customer support is terrible and can leave you waiting forever.

Using this software has been really simple which is why I enjoy it so much.

Connecting a bank account to it can be difficult.

I could withdraw the money I earned online through ATMs. It's very simple to use, feels secure and the transaction costs are quite low as well.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints since I only used it for a short period before it ended up being banned in my country.

Having clients in different countries, I use this platform because it gives them confidence and security when they buy my packages.

The transaction fees are pretty high and that cuts into my profit margins.

Nothing positive comes to mind. It's embarrassing and frustrating dealing with them because they block funds without giving any explanation and never provide real answers.

Cons

There's nothing I like about it. The support is nonexistent and the staff come across as arrogant and rude.

Pros

Its very easy to figure it out. Nearly every online marketplace and freelancing platform supports PayPal and that's a huge advantage. One feature I especially appreciated is the free automatic transfer to my bank account which happens on the first day of each month.

Cons

Many of its features still aren't available in Egypt and I really hope that gets improved soon.

Pros

Handling payments and invoices with it has been reliable and simple. I also appreciate that invoicing doesn't come with an extra fee and the shipping integration fits in without much hassle.

Cons

A number of customers still avoid using it because of past problems or general concerns. On top of that, POS apps can be tricky to work with at times especially when connectivity becomes an issue.

“Helpful FAQ section and support”

Pros

Using it day to day has been really convenient. It's simple to navigate, feels secure and is very manageable for regular use. I've never run into any problems with the service and anytime I've had a question, the FAQ section and customer support have both been incredibly helpful.

Cons

I honestly don't have much negative to say about it, other than the fact that some people seem hesitant to use it for whatever reason.

“Discounts are a nice bonus”

Pros

Payments go through quickly, the app is simple to use and it has been dependable for processing transactions. The discounts it offers are a nice bonus too.

Cons

From what I've seen, there really aren't many downsides, except that it still isn't supported on a lot of e-commerce websites as a payment option.

“No technical issues so far”

Pros

Handling repeat payments with it is really convenient. Connecting it to my bank account was simple and I haven't run into any technical issues while using it.

Cons

One thing that could be better is access to my email address after logging in since it takes a couple of clicks from the home page to find it. It would be quicker and more convenient if important profile details were shown in a banner right on the home page.

“Lets me buy music online”

Pros

Whenever I handle international bookings, this is the payment option I rely on most. One thing I'd still suggest is adding support for more South African banks since right now only one bank here works with the platform. Aside from that, I really appreciate being able to buy music online from sites like Beatport and receive payments instantly.

Cons

It would be even better if it could link with more South African banks.

I appreciate that it feels like a secure place to handle my money and it does a solid job protecting everything against fraudulent activity.

Cons

I'm pleased with almost everything it offers and how it handles things overall, the service has been really good.
