PayPal lets me send and receive payments anytime, no matter where the other person is in the world. It feels fast and secure and the extra features like invoicing, buyer protection and instant help from support make it even more useful. Whenever I've needed assistance, the response has been very quick.

The one issue I see is with proving a transaction in cases where the buyer seems to be given stronger protection than the seller. There are times when buyers request a refund even after they've received the item. It would be much better if sellers had more ways to submit proof beyond just tracking information.

Getting started with this software was simple since I could download it quickly on both my laptop and phone. Signing up was easy as well and after verifying my account through email and mobile number, using it became very convenient. In Kenya, the integration with Mpesa is especially useful because it makes depositing and withdrawing funds much more convenient.

Adding support for prepaid Visa cards as another option for linked cards would help.

Using PayPal with different retailers feels much safer than handing out my bank details everywhere. I'm comfortable keeping my information with PayPal because I trust the security and the purchase and refund protection has been a big plus. When a seller turns out to be less than honest or the product isn't what was advertised, PayPal has stepped in and helped sort things out. I've been using PayPal for more than 20 years and that kind of backup is a big reason why.

There's really only been one major problem for me with PayPal. I sold a camera that was working properly but the buyer claimed it was broken. When it was returned, it wasn't in the same condition as when I originally shipped it yet PayPal still ruled in the buyer's favor. That didn't feel fair at all especially since dishonest buyers do exist. I also used PayPal with eBay for years and paying fees to both eBay and PayPal was frustrating. Even so, I understood how important PayPal was to have as a payment option and I've continued using it to both send and receive payments.

Whether I'm purchasing something online or taking payments as a business owner, PayPal has been very simple to use. I also really value that it supports business accounts and tends to give users the benefit of the doubt whenever any issues or concerns come up.

Main issue is the fees although that's fairly standard since most comparable services charge about the same rates.

Keeping up with the times is something I really appreciate about this app. New features are added regularly which makes it even more practical to use. Setting up a PayPal key for online purchases is a big plus and being able to connect bank accounts and cards gives plenty of payment flexibility. I also like that they introduced their own card for use outside the app.

Adding a bank account or card can be a bit inconvenient because PayPal requires you to verify small transactions on your account and that process can take as long as 48 hours. On top of that, you have to remember to go back and check those amounts which I would forget pretty often.

What impressed me most was the securityalong with how simple it was to set up and use on my phone which is where I usually check it. It also makes it very convenient to see both my incoming payments and the payments I make.
