“secure storage for earnings”
Pros
PayPal has been one of the most reliable apps for keeping my earnings. I feel confident that my money is secure there and that peace of mind is a big reason I enjoy using it so much.
Cons
I haven't run into any issues while using PayPal. It's also very simple to access and overall I've been really happy with it. Thank you so much.

“for personal and business use”
Pros
For more than five years, PayPal has been a really positive part of how I handle money. I use it to receive customer payments, send money to family and friends and pay for goods and services and it has consistently worked well for all of that. Out of the payment platforms I've used, this is definitely one of the best.
Cons
My only real complaint is how long it can take for money to reach my account from PayPal. I just wish transfers to business accounts were a little faster.

“accessible for freelancers”
Pros
PayPal has been really convenient for collecting money from clients and sending payments out to freelancers. It handles both sides of the process well and makes managing payments much more simple.
Cons
Fees can add up quickly especially when the transfers are larger or happen often.

“Free sign-up”
Pros
Because the features are simple and convenient my experience has been very positive. Signing up is free, using it doesn't come with recurring charges and that already makes it appealing. Payments go through instantly, while withdrawals usually arrive within 2 to 5 business days based on my experience. I also feel comfortable using the platform since the website is secure and funds are stored safely online. Another helpful part is that it works with any bank card so there's no need to have a specific one linked. On top of that, they offer a self-help center and if that doesn't solve the issue, customer support usually replies in less than 24 hours.
Cons
A few things still need improvement with PayPal though. Funds can only stay in the account for up to 30 days which feels limiting. The fees charged for transfers between accounts are also very high. Another downside is that some merchants still do not accept PayPal which makes it less convenient when trying to use it across different online stores.

“clear interface”
Pros
When it comes to secure online payments, PayPal still feels like one of the best options out there. It's basically a scammer's worst nightmare since using PayPal as a payment processor adds a strong layer of protection and makes it much harder for someone to take your money. The interface is very clear and simple to navigate which makes everyday use effortless. It's also a fast, reliable and secure way to send money to practically anyone, anywhere in the world. On top of that, their customer support team has been very helpful. I also appreciate that they keep adding new features to the platform, including things like cryptocurrency trading. Another feature I really like is being able to buy something and split the payment into four installments. Honestly I could keep listing positives.
Cons
Overall, I really don't have many concerns about using PayPal. The only downside is that they can sometimes be extremely strict and may limit or even shut down your account after a large transaction. While that level of caution is understandable and even beneficial from a security standpoint, it can still take more than a week for the account to be restored. That's a long time to wait and for a business, that kind of delay can cause real problems.

“Fast payments”
Pros
There's a lot to appreciate here especially how quickly customers can send money. That convenience is the biggest advantage and it really helps keep everything running the way you want it to. I honestly love the feature set and how well it all comes together.
Cons
One thing that could be better is offering more ways for customers to complete transactions without running into issues. I've seen a few cases where payments couldn't go through because of "security reasons," and those customers ended up having to contact customer service to sort it out.

“safeguards personal ino”
Pros
Running a business with PayPal makes online payments very convenient and I also appreciate how well it keeps personal information from being exposed on websites.
Cons
Something worth noting is that using gift cards or certain credit cards is not always very easy although it is not a deal breaker and would not stop me from using it.

“Two-step verification”
Pros
One thing I can say for sure is that it feels very safe to use especially with the 2-step verification that adds extra protection to the account. PayPal also allows quick online money transfers which makes sending cash really convenient.
Cons
There are times when transaction processing takes longer than expected but aside from that, PayPal provides a really solid service.

“cashing through Ingo”
Pros
The interface on PayPal is really simple to use which is what I appreciate most. It makes handling money feel very easy whether I'm sending peer-to-peer payments or even cashing checks through their third-party Ingo check cashing service.
Cons
Overall I'm very satisfied with PayPal. The only part I could do without is the fee for instant transfers to a bank account or card. That said, I understand they charge it because it helps keep PayPal free to use.

“Shows full transaction history”
Pros
When it comes to paying online, security matters most and PayPal gives me complete confidence on that front. I can track payments and review past transaction history anytime through my account which is really helpful. It also lets me add money using a credit or debit card and I can save card details for future use. The invoicing feature is especially valuable for merchants and creating an invoice only takes a few quick steps.
Cons
In some countries, PayPal transactions come with certain restrictions so it's better to check those clearly based on your own situation before using it.

“reliable option”
Pros
Paypal has been a reliable and secure option for handling online transactions which gives both me and my clients real peace of mind. It has become an essential part of our organization and everyone tends to choose it over other payment methods.
Cons
There are occasional transaction fees from time to time but most payments go through without any charges so neither my clients nor I have much to complain about.

Pros
One of the best things about PayPal is how fast and secure the checkout process feels. If anything ever goes wrong, I know I can rely on them to help fix the situation.
Cons

“full financial services coverage”
Pros
PayPal is one of the best online finance apps I've used. It's been around for a long time and at this point it pretty much covers everything you'd expect from a financial institution, just in a quicker and more convenient way.
Cons
My only real complaint is the two-factor authentication which can be a major hassle at times. If you lose your device and no longer have access to your old phone number, getting back into your account can take forever. I understand the need to keep funds secure but this setup feels a bit excessive.

“Easy team rollout”
Pros
Getting this rolled out to our sales team was fairly simple and the setup didn't take much effort. It has been working really well overall, with little to no trouble when it comes to processing payments.
Cons
One downside was that some of the transaction processing fees weren't clearly shown or mentioned during deployment. Because of that, the overall cost of the software ended up being quite a bit higher than we expected.

“dependable payment gateway”
Pros
Running payments and collections through PayPal has made the whole process much simpler. It's probably the most dependable payment gateway I've used and it comes with plenty of tools that are generally simple to put in place. It also gives small entrepreneurs a real chance to compete with much bigger companies and the platform feels secure.
Cons
At the beginning, the amount of data, settings and available tools can feel a little overwhelming. If you build apps or need to set up integrations some of the documentation and tutorials seem outdated which can make certain tools confusing to implement. That part is mostly frustrating for users who work heavily with development and integrations. Also, the commissions can be somewhat high on certain occasions.

“support gone downhill”
Pros
Back when I was starting my freelance career, PayPal felt really convenient. Requesting payments from clients was simple and the money usually reached my bank account within 2-3 days. At that time, the platform was easy to manage and overall handled everything in a way that worked well for me.
Cons
Things changed after I received several payments and that's when I began to dislike using PayPal for a few reasons. The biggest issue is their support team which has been terrible in my experience. Whenever a payment gets stuck, they seem to have no clue what's going on and don't offer any real solution. On top of that, their fees have become too high now. They've also made the platform more difficult to use and sometimes I can't even withdraw money to my bank manually which leaves me waiting several days.

“Great for international payments”
Pros
Handling international freelance payments through PayPal has been really convenient especially when dealing with different currencies. Their customer support has been excellent too. I've used it for over five years now and haven't run into any major problems. The newer recurring payment feature is also a big plus since it saves me from having to send invoices to clients every single month.
Cons
If there's one thing I'd change, it would be the pricing. The 4% fee plus currency conversion charges feels quite high.
