“fast online payments”

Pros

Getting paid online is very convenient with my PayPal account and I can also use it to buy things online without any hassle.

Cons

PayPal really stands out for billing, invoicing, payments and related features but the downside is that people in some countries still can't create an account.

“Available everywhere”

Pros

Among payment platforms, this one has been the best for me because it's available almost everywhere. Sending money is very convenient and I can use it both on my phone and online without any hassle. It also works well for online shopping which makes it even more useful. On top of that, both international and local transfers are offered at a lower cost.

Cons

My only request would be to make money transfers completely free. Other than that, I really don't have anything to dislike.

“impressive security”

Pros

From online shopping and escrow to sending money to family and friends or receiving payments, PayPal covers just about everything I need. It's accepted almost everywhere and the security on the platform is really impressive.

Cons

When an account gets limited for security reasons. I understand why it happens and it's ultimately a good safeguard but getting access back can take far too long. Sometimes close to a full week.

It's definitely a plus that so many people use PayPal.

“flexible payments”

Pros

Customers can pay however they prefer with PayPal which has been a big advantage for us. The fraud prevention is another feature I really appreciate and it's been simple for both our team and our customers to use since most people are already familiar with it.

Cons

The integration took a bit of effort at first, mostly because some employees were hesitant about changing to a new system. Once they actually started using it though, they ended up fully embracing it.

“Simple transfers”

Pros

Sending money through PayPal is really convenient and the whole process is simple to use in so many ways. I'd definitely recommend it for all kinds of money transfers.

Cons

Compared with other apps, this is still the one I prefer most and I honestly don't have any negatives to mention about it.

“Pay in installments”

Pros

It gives me a free way to pay for products and services which is really convenient. Using it is simple and I can connect either my checking or savings account without any hassle. I also get alerts for account activity, including when refunds are still pending which helps me stay on top of things. Another feature I really enjoy is the option to pay with PayPal in installments. It feels a lot like putting a purchase on layaway.

Cons

Having to sign in to PayPal just to move a refund back into my bank account. Quite a few times, I've forgotten there was money sitting in PayPal that still needed to be transferred back to my account as a credit.

“Helpful support”

Pros

This has become my favorite payment option because it feels like one of the safest ways to pay right now. Their customer service team is also very reliable and ready to step in whenever an issue comes up. Another thing I appreciate is being able to print a receipt again if I've lost the original copy.

Cons

The charges for payments made outside of PayPal are quite expensive.

“reliable ecommerce staple”

Pros

PayPal has been around forever in online payments and that history shows. It's a trusted, proven platform that integrates with pretty much every major system in the ecommerce space.

Cons

Its fees can run a bit higher than some alternatives but it's not enough to be a deal breaker.

“fast and safe payments”

Pros

Handling both purchases and sales with PayPal is very simple. It lets you manage transactions quickly and gives a strong sense of security while using it.

Cons

We're currently dealing with the high fees charged when withdrawing money. Here in Peru, the only option is basically to use Banco Interbank so the funds have to be transferred from PayPal to that bank and the commissions there are also expensive. I believe PayPal should offer its debit card in Peru and across Latin America, just like it does in the United States so small business sellers can save much more when selling through PayPal.

“flexible credit”

Pros

A small group of customers will only pay through PayPal although most of the ones who use it would probably still complete the purchase with another payment method. The credit choices are quite flexible and the seller support is much better now than it used to be.

Cons

It's very expensive compared with standard credit or debit card payments.

“Best option”

Pros

Whether I'm sending money to friends, paying family members or handling business transactions, this has been the best payment option for me. It works really well as a practical tool especially for people who need a convenient way to receive money without hassle.

Cons

There are occasional glitches once in a while but they're minor and not bad enough to cause serious problems.

“Transactions across currencies”

Pros

What makes this product really useful is how simple it is to receive money online. I can also connect PayPal to an e-wallet like GCash and even use it for purchases at the supermarket. Moving funds from PayPal to GCash only takes a few clicks and the transfer is instant which is very convenient. I've had my PayPal account for years and one of the best parts is that there's no monthly charge, no maintaining balance requirement and no fee even if the account stays inactive with no transactions. It also supports receiving money in widely used currencies. If you're in another country and someone sends you US dollars, you can still set your main PayPal currency to Euro or Philippine Peso. If you don't have an account yet, I'd definitely recommend signing up and linking a debit card so your account becomes fully verified. Since PayPal is tied to your email address, the whole process feels simplified. Just give your email to a client or merchant and the money can be sent straight to your PayPal account.

Cons

At first, I really didn't understand how valuable a PayPal account could be. I only appreciated it recently when I began actively using it by sharing my email address and receiving payments that way. One downside for new users is PayPal's security measure. Even after the money arrives, it can be placed on hold for nearly a month. In my case, I had to wait for that period to end or until I had received at least around USD 100 in my account, from what I understood. Even with that delay at the beginning, I'm now very satisfied with it and enjoying the ability to receive money from anywhere in the world.

“instant payments for trading”

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about PayPal is how quickly I can use it to fund my forex account and it also works well for paying online, including channels and movies.

Cons

It would be even better if PayPal were supported on more websites that accept online wallet payments. I'd also love to see crypto trading added to PayPalalong with wider adoption among forex brokers for deposits and withdrawals since PayPal transactions are usually instant.

“worldwide payments made simple”

Pros

PayPal is pretty much the only money transfer platform that's accepted almost everywhere worldwide. It's convenient for everyday use and works in most countries that support Visa or MasterCard.

Cons

That said, the fee structure changes from one country to another. In some cases, it can be 5% or even more of the total amount received.

Clean interface, strong ongoing security, regular notifications and more than one useful service make it feel like the best electronic bank. The fees are also quite reasonable.

Cons

The interface could still use a few refinements although customer support responds quickly.

“reliable”

Pros

Working in travel and tourism means handling payments from travelers using different currencies so I needed a dependable way to collect money internationally. PayPal has been exactly that for me. I can receive payments securely at any time from customers around the world and thankfully it fully supports payments from my country. It has become our go-to money transfer option because the fees are fair and affordable. Both my business and I have really grown to appreciate using PayPal.

Cons

Their mobile app lets me check my account and view transactions which is useful but it would be even better if it offered more of the same functions available on the PayPal website. Small things like changing currency settings and accepting invoices on the app are still missing.

“Hassle-free setup”

Pros

Opening a PayPal account takes almost no effort whether you need it for personal use or for a business. During setup, they make sure you create a strong password which is reassuring. I also get email updates for every activity on my account so I always know what's going on. The platform is very user-friendly and keeping track of payments in the account is simple.

Cons

I really don't have anything negative to say about PayPal.

“awesome transactions experience”

Pros

Using this product has been really simple and overall it's been an awesome service. The only thing that slows the experience down a bit is that withdrawals from PayPal to my bank account take too long before they show up but aside from that, it's very user-friendly and works very well.

Cons

I'd really want to see improved and faster withdrawals to all bank accounts, no matter which country the account holder is in. It would also help a lot if there were a 24/7 live chat option so customers could get assistance anytime they have questions or need support.
