“convenient invoicing”
Pros
Most importantly for us is the invoice creation and send, our clients enjoy paypal pay because they do not have to keep a credit card on file.
Cons
If your client doesn't understand how paypal works sometimes they click something wrong for a chargeback and it creates a massive headache.

“easy interface”
Pros
After using PayPal for more than four years, it's become my go-to app for almost everything. The interface is very simple to use, it comes with plenty of useful features and the fact that most vendors accept PayPal makes it even better. I rely on it for both my regular financial activity and international transactions and it has been really convenient.
Cons
My biggest frustration is with the regional offers. There are so many attractive promotions available in the US but they're not offered where I live. I'm hoping they expand those deals to more countries and add more interesting offers in the near future.

“good ecomm intagretions”
Pros
Using PayPal has been simple, both for day-to-day use and for integrating with eCommerce platforms. It's also something customers actively want and PayPal consistently delivers on that expectation.
Cons
The pricing used to feel expensive although it has pretty much become the standard now. It would still be nice to have a lower-cost option but that's hard to come by.

“Boosts sales”
Pros
Being able to offer PayPal at checkout has been a big advantage for conversions. Customers already know and trust the brand and since many of them have their payment details saved, they can complete a purchase without having to stop and look for a credit card.
Cons
I haven't run into this myself but I've heard from a lot of colleagues that the customer support can be pretty poor especially when business owners need them to take their side.

“convenient installments”
Pros
PayPal really makes installment payments simple to handle and the whole payment process feels secure and reliable.
Cons
One frustrating part is when your account gets locked because getting it reopened can be a difficult experience. There's also no direct customer support hotline so you're stuck going through painful chat support.

“instant transactions”
Pros
Being able to connect both bank accounts and cards in one place is really convenient. Payments also reach recipients instantly even though the money can still take a few days to clear from the client's bank account.
Cons
It would be better if payment receipts were offered as downloadable PDF files for users. Adding a two-step verification option would also improve security.

“very easy setup”
Pros
Getting this up and running for sending and receiving payments is really quick and the implementation process doesn't take much time at all.
Cons
Their customer support is a real weak point especially when it comes to fixing problems after they place temporary or permanent restrictions on an account without any clear reason.

“handy crypto access”
Pros
Using PayPal is really simple, the app works very well and I also like that they now allow crypto purchases.
Cons
Transfers back to a bank account could definitely be faster. Other than that, it's a really solid app.

“Buyer protection I can count on”
Pros
Paying for products through PayPal feels really convenient and checkout is quick when I'm buying something. On the buyer side, I also appreciate being able to dispute a purchase and get a refund without much trouble if something seems shady with the seller or the product. Overall, it does make me feel well protected as a customer.
Cons
From the seller perspective though, the fees can be pretty steep since they take a notable cut from each sale and there's still the added risk of customers filing refunds or disputes. It often feels like PayPal tends to favor the buyer first even in cases where the customer may actually be in the wrong. I'm also not a fan of the invoicing feature since both the design and the information included could definitely be better.

“Swift, secure digital payments”
Pros
Payments go through quickly and securely and it lets me place my company's digital orders for clients without any hassle.
Cons
The only downside is that there's no option to link an Ecuadorian bank for making bank transfers.

“great subscription control”
Pros
One thing I regularly use PayPal for is handling my monthly subscriptions. From inside PayPal, I can click into a payment, update the subscription details or cancel it whenever I need to. That kind of control is really convenient. I also feel much safer paying online through PayPal since my banking information isn't being shared with everyone.
Cons
I've been using PayPal since the early days and Honestly I haven't run into any issues at all.

“Efficient invoicing”
Pros
The invoicing feature is easily the one I rely on most every day. My clients come from all age groups and have very different levels of comfort with online tools so having invoicing that stays simple whether they have a PayPal account or not really matters. All they need is a card number and an email address and they're ready to go.
Cons
There are times when the clearing period for ecommerce transactions feels a bit inconvenient. That said, I understand it's part of the added security as well.

“widely accepted”
Pros
Paypal is simple to use, accepted in a lot of places and works well for both merchants and individuals so it fits both personal and business use.
Cons
It's not really built for larger businesses. Another inconvenience is that a card can only be linked to one account which isn't always practical.

“easy access”
Pros
Being able to cash checks from my phone or laptop whenever I want, day or night, is something I really appreciate. It also makes paying for all kinds of things online very convenient.
Cons
The photo capture for mobile check deposits could use a bit of improvement. At times it refuses a picture that looks perfectly clear and then asks me to retake it which can be frustrating.

“Secure platform”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate about PayPal is how seriously it takes data security. The multiple security checks used to verify account validity and ownership give me a lot of confidence especially at a time when personal data is constantly being collected and used everywhere. PayPal still feels like a platform that is genuinely committed to protecting customer information and that is a critical part of doing business. On top of that, the interface is highly interactive which makes it enjoyable to use. Both the desktop version and the mobile app have a clean layout that feels user-friendly.
Cons
A visible tab for the automatic currency converter would make the overall customer experience even better.

“Reliable payments and buyer protection”
Pros
It makes things simple for both buyers and sellers and the refund guarantee adds a lot of confidence when making transactions.
Cons
One thing that could be improved is giving sellers a bit more consideration when it comes to how the refund guarantee is handled.

“get paid instantly”
Pros
Paying someone through it has been really simple and I'm genuinely happy with the service it offers. Getting paid was very quick which made a big difference. I also enjoy some of the tools in the app especially the tips and features around saving, investing and similar things. It's actually the only online banking and cash app I have and the only one I use.
Cons
There really aren't any major downsides with PayPal for me. The only issue I've noticed is that customer support can take a while to respond when something comes up although they do eventually provide a solution.

“flexible payments across currencies”
Pros
It has been really convenient because it's flexible and simple to work with. The support for multiple currencies was also a big plus and made payments much more practical.
Cons
Only issue I ran into was that some clients were hesitant to use PayPal because of political actions the company has supported.

“free transfers”
Pros
This software works with a lot of different sites which makes it really convenient to use. I also appreciate being able to arrange the payment method order and that it can move on to the next option if the first one doesn't have enough to cover the purchase. Another big plus is receiving money through it. I get rewards from Rakuten and can transfer them to my debit account without any fees.
Cons
One frustrating part is that it doesn't always follow the payment method order the way it should. For instance, when I used it for Uber Eats, it charged my credit card even though my debit card was set as the first option. I also have a Mexican PayPal account and shop online in the US quite a bit since I live near the border and many US sellers won't accept my account. That gets especially annoying when you already have a cart full of discounted items ready to buy.
