“secure payments”
Pros
PayPal has been a really satisfying option for me especially since I can use my PayPal balance without always depending directly on my bank account. If needed, I can also connect a debit or credit card as a backup which is very convenient when my balance runs low. That flexibility makes PayPal one of the most dependable choices for sending virtual money. On top of that, the part I appreciate most is being able to pay through PayPal instead of using my bank card directly because it adds an extra layer of protection for my personal data.
Cons
There are still a few downsides, like usage limitations and the possibility of account suspension at any time which can lead to funds being frozen for months. Withdrawals can also be slow since it may take up to four business days for the money to appear in a bank account. Another drawback is that Arabic is not supported. Still, these issues are not very important to me overall.

“funds locked without answers”
Pros
At one point, they were pretty much the only choice for making payments online but that is no longer the case.
Cons
They can freeze your money without giving any explanation. Payments may get flagged as unknown transactions and then your funds end up locked with no clear reason.

“Useful spending tracker”
Pros
PayPal lets me keep several payment methods saved in one place and also helps me monitor my spending.
Cons
A few businesses still don't accept PayPal which can slow the checkout process down.

“reliable”
Pros
After using PayPal for more than 15 years, I'm still very happy with how well everything works. The platform is user-friendly and simple to navigate.
Cons
From the moment a transaction starts through to completion, everything is handled well. It keeps complete records of orders, delivery instructions and even provides guidance if something goes wrong.

“buyer protection”
Pros
PayPal ended up being the payment processor we chose for our online marketplace, largely because their Buyer Protection gave us a lot more confidence in the platform. Another big plus was having direct access to local representatives. They worked closely with us and our developers which made the setup process much more manageable.
Cons
We used one of PayPal's products that could split payments across multiple parties, such as the seller, buyer and beneficiary and it could also notify beneficiaries about payments even if they didn't already have a PayPal account. The concept was really strong but because the product was still fairly new at the time, the notification system and overall user flow were not as refined as they should have been.

“used by everyone”
Pros
It's pretty simple to use and a lot of people already use it which makes payments more convenient.
Cons
The downside is that they sometimes decide on their own which transactions to put on hold.

“great perks and rewards”
Pros
Using PayPal has been really convenient for everyday banking. Sending money between friends doesn't cost anything which is a big plus and I also get access to shopping deals and 2% cash back on every purchase made with the PayPal credit card. The option to buy and sell crypto is a nice feature to have, customer service has been excellent and the referral rewards are a nice bonus too.
Cons
One downside is that the transaction fees are higher than with other similar services when you move money from PayPal to your bank instantly. The fees for buying and selling crypto are also very expensive.

“valuable option for online payments”
Pros
Having PayPal available as a payment method with online merchants is incredibly valuable. It's become such an important option when shopping online even though there still aren't many real alternatives to pick from.
Cons
Because PayPal is used so widely, it almost feels like a monopoly and that seems to have limited the number of alternatives in the market. As a user, that leaves very little choice.

“fast and reliable payments”
Pros
Using PayPal has been very easy for me. It's reliable and payments or transactions go through immediately. I can link multiple cards and when I shop, I don't need to share my card details each time which makes the whole process feel much more secure and convenient.
Cons
Some transaction fees can be a little expensive.

It is used almost everywhere so most customers and vendors can handle payments and credits through it without any issues.

“speedy international payouts”
Pros
Paypal works really well for sending quick payments to hairdressers and contractors on photoshoots especially when they're based in other countries and don't use Venmo. The international payment capability is definitely the most valuable part for us.
Cons
Getting invoices through the system and having them properly accepted by our accounting department can be a bit difficult.

“familiar to most people”
Pros
It gives me a convenient way to send payments to different vendors while keeping everything connected in one place. Since it's so widely used and accepted, it works really well for both sending money and receiving payments without any hassle.
Cons
That said, it's better suited for simpler transaction management and shouldn't be mistaken for the kind of solution you'd get from more advanced payment processing providers.

“established industry name”
Pros
When it comes to online payments, PayPal still feels like one of the most dependable options to me. They were one of the first big names in the industry and that history gives them a level of trust I don't automatically give to other platforms. I see them as reliable and established even if they don't feel especially modern or exciting.
Cons
PayPal really helped pave the way in the digital payments space and that counts for a lot. At the same time, it now comes across as more of an older brand in the category and I don't really view it as a cutting-edge option anymore.

“Fast checkout”
Pros
Paying through PayPal has been one of the best parts for me because purchases go through really quickly and the customer support team is consistently there whenever help is needed. Another big plus is how many payment options it supports since it's accepted on almost every payment platform I use.
Cons
One issue I've run into is the API stability during withdrawals which can be unreliable. I also had one of my PayPal accounts frozen without any clear reason and it usually takes them quite a long time to provide any justification.

“flexible payments”
Pros
Paypal has a very user-focused platform that feels simple from the start. Getting set up was quick and the support for multiple currencies is a big plus. Making payments and sending payouts is easy, the button embedding works well and the checkout process is really fast.
Cons
Up to this point, I honestly haven't come across any problems with it.

“Serious accusation issue”
Pros
When it comes to paying online, this is still my first choice because it handles transactions efficiently and keeps payments secure.
Cons
A major problem was that someone was apparently allowed to try to implicate me in a series of online activities I had nothing to do with, seemingly as part of an attempt to strip me of my presidency position or secretary of state position.

“protection for every payment”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate about PayPal is how secure it is. It does an excellent job protecting users on both business and personal accounts which makes using it feel very reliable.
Cons

“fast & safe”
Pros
Sending and receiving money with PayPal is quick and simple and it feels safe and secure to use. It keeps a record of every transaction which is really helpful and everything works simply and fast whether I use the website or the mobile app. Another big plus is that I don't need a bank account to use it.
Cons
It feels like a very useful invention because almost anyone can use it without much trouble. It comes with strong features, is accepted worldwide and the platform feels very secure overall.
