“Quick setup & transfers”
Pros
Getting started with it is quick and easy and sending money between accounts is just as simple. Transfers take almost no time and creating an account is really fast.
Cons
My only complaint is that I can't always find the phone number for the UK when I need it.

“simple sending and recieving”
Pros
Among payment platforms, this has been the most useful option for me especially when it comes to sending and receiving money which is very simple and convenient.
Cons
One downside is that it still has limitations in certain countries that are not included on its supported list so PayPal should expand into more regions to broaden its reach.

“convenient integrations”
Pros
Paypal is accepted almost everywhere which makes buying fast and convenient for customers. On the business side, integration is quick too since there are already well-known libraries available for nearly every e-commerce platform.
Cons
From a business perspective, when a transaction gets accepted but is later flagged as fraud, the merchant not only has to refund the full amount through a chargeback but also cover the extra fees tied to the chargeback and the platform itself. That means every fraudulent transaction can turn into a direct loss. On the customer side even legitimate payments can sometimes be declined by a store if they appear suspicious, forcing the buyer to switch to another payment method.

“Amazing automatic transfers”
Pros
Automatic monthly payments are really convenient because I don't have to remember a subscription every month. It keeps a record of every transaction which helps a lot when I need to track payments. The security is strong thanks to the encryption and I can send money to friends without paying fees. I also appreciate the automatic transfers from PayPal to my bank account without extra charges. The chat customer service has been the best part for me and it's also very useful that PayPal lets me convert currencies, handle different kinds of payments and send money to employees in other countries for business purposes.
Cons
The mobile app still feels like it's missing some features. Phone support could definitely be better and the fee for instant withdrawals is too high. There are also times when payments I receive get put on hold without any clear reason. On top of that, transferring money to a bank account can take around 4 to 5 business days.

“global customer payments”
Pros
One of PayPal's biggest strengths is that it lets me accept payments from customers around the world which is incredibly useful. On top of that, the platform has been very reliable for everything I need.
Cons
Considering how many features PayPal offers, I honestly haven't run into any issues while using it. It really feels like one of the best options out there.

“easy online payments”
Pros
Paypal has become a product I use regularly especially for online payments and it works really well for my business. One thing I really appreciate is having a separate debit card specifically tied to PayPal which has been a big plus for me.
Cons
One area that could be better is transferring funds into my account. They used to offer an instant transfer option and it was disappointing to see that removed.

“incredibly simple setup”
Pros
Getting PayPal up and running for my business was incredibly simple. It's a longtime leader in payment processing and I trust it more than just about any other option. Honestly I even prefer using PayPal over traditional bank payments.
Cons
About the only downside that comes to mind is that removing websites or merchants from automatic payment processing can be a little tricky. At times they don't seem to get removed properly. I also wish PayPal would send warnings before payments are about to be taken out.

“Secure online payments”
Pros
For years, PayPal has been my go-to for online shopping and billing customers and it has never let me down. I haven't run into a single issue and whenever I've needed support, they've been there for me. It makes paying online feel much more secure and the whole experience is incredibly convenient. I genuinely love using this company.
Cons
Honestly the only downside that comes to mind is the seller fee. That said, I'm sure that's unavoidable and probably something they're legally required to charge.

“fast app”
Pros
Sending money to friends comes with no fees which is a big plus. It feels like a secure platform and the mobile app is very fast and simple to navigate. The currency conversion feature is excellent too making it possible to send money worldwide through PayPal without any hassle. Overall, it's dependable.
Cons
Customer support takes a long time to respond. There can also be problems with payouts and some transactions come with high fees.

“practical for billing”
Pros
Across the world, PayPal is one of the most trusted payment gateways and that confidence really shows in day-to-day use. It's a reliable option for collecting client payments, the interface is easy to work with and it accepts all kinds of cards. Integration with websites is also simple. We use PayPal regularly for invoicing and billing and it has worked well for us.
Cons
Transaction and commission fees are higher than on many other platforms which can add up over time. The documentation process could also be a bit simpler and getting through to customer support by phone is not always easy.

“Good for global e-commerce”
Pros
With online work and e-commerce expanding across so many fields, subscribing to PayPal almost feels necessary.
Cons
The downside is that poorer countries still aren't really accommodated. Even when registration is available, the transfer and withdrawal options remain difficult to use.

“Fast transfers”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate about PayPal is the customer service. I got scammed once and they handled it well and sided with me. The platform is fast and simple to use and payments usually transfer to my bank pretty quickly.
Cons
I honestly haven't run into any issues with PayPal up to this point.

“dependable for businesses”
Pros
Using PayPal Business has been an obvious choice for us. It handles everything from setting up new customers and adding products for online sales to sending invoices for both recurring and one-time clients and it also works well as a card payment gateway on a website. We regularly recommend that our clients add it as a payment option even if they already use another system. After nearly five years of using it, we've only run into one issue and that was resolved very quickly.
Cons
At times clients have trouble locating the developer integration key so they end up sharing their login details with us so we can retrieve it and then they have to change their password afterward.

“free signup”
Pros
Getting started with PayPal didn't cost anything which was a big plus right away. On top of that, their customer service has been really helpful whenever any issues have come up.
Cons
The one downside is that the refund process can take a while when you buy something through PayPal. They usually require you to reach out to the seller first and if that doesn't work out, you can still get your money back but it may take a couple of weeks.

“excellent support”
Pros
Setting up PayPal doesn't cost anything and it really simplifies online transactions whether that's online trading or sending and receiving money. The whole process is simple, with no hidden charges to worry about. I also appreciate the fraud protection for my account and personal data and linking my bank account to PayPal was quick and hassle-free. On top of that, their customer support has been excellent.
Cons
I've been using PayPal for quite a while and Honestly I haven't run into any issues with it so I don't have any negative feedback to share.

“Free purchases and handy transfers”
Pros
Pretty much everyone already knows PayPal for online shopping but the mobile payment app is just as reliable when it comes to sending money to friends. Buying things online through the app doesn't cost the purchaser anything and the app itself is free to download as well.
Cons
There is a $10 charge along with a 1% transaction fee if you use PayPal Instant Transfer which is an optional add-on. That extra cost gets the money into your account within 30 minutes or less on business days although transfers can end up delayed over weekends and holidays.

“lower transaction fees”
Pros
Compared with services like Square, the transaction fees are lower which I really appreciate. The app covers pretty much everything I need and since almost everyone already uses PayPal, checkout is much simpler. I can either charge customers who already have an account or just send an email so they can pay without needing to sign up.
Cons
On the business side, I do run into the occasional unhappy client and the claims process can be difficult to deal with. It's especially frustrating when your business doesn't involve a physical product because filing a claim feels harder than it should.

“Trusted invoicing”
Pros
Being an industry leader, PayPal naturally has a clean, user-friendly interface that also looks polished. The fees are there but they're pretty much in line with other services and it includes most of the features you'd typically need. The biggest advantage is how professional the whole platform feels. It gives you confidence that it won't suddenly go offline when you need it or randomly lose your history or contacts. It's dependable and the mobile app is well designed for handling things on the go. On top of that, it's a trusted name which makes invoices look more credible and gives clients extra confidence and respect when you're freelancing compared with lesser-known competitors.
Cons
One issue is that the settings area can be a little buggy at times although it usually settles down once everything is updated. The most frustrating part for me at the moment is how hard it is to add subtotals to invoices even though you can sort of get around that by using the notes section. It's also a bit irritating to get logged out so often when you leave a tab open all day but at least that shows security is taken seriously which matters when money is involved.
