Using PayPal has been really simple and I appreciate that they put a strong focus on security. I've earned money online through PayPal and successfully transferred those funds to my bank account without trouble. Sending and making payments through the platform is also very convenient.

My only real issue with PayPal is the transaction fees. On top of that, linking my PayPal account to my bank took longer than expected because of a technical error.

One thing that should really be added, unless it already exists and I missed it, is an option to remove your account as a payment method from other devices. After you add it once especially on apps like Uber or Wish, it can keep working without asking for the password again. Also, living in SA, the first withdrawal process from PayPal was frustrating. Setting everything up and linking the PayPal account to a bank profile felt unnecessarily complicated and should be made simpler. The mobile app could also be improved since some frequently used features, like currency conversion, are not very easy to access.

One thing I really appreciate about this app is how secure it feels. My money stays protected and it's very convenient for paying online with my phone without needing cash on hand. I can link several credit cards and the app is simple to navigate. Another big advantage is that it works in many countries which makes it especially useful when dealing with payments around the world.

The fees can be pretty expensive at times although that's not always the case. It's also true that not every place accepts this payment method. Another concern is that if you lose your phone, your money could feel at risk especially if you also can't remember your password.

It's accessible from almost anywhere as long as there's an internet connection and it does exactly what it promises without delay. It connects well with banking systems, offers solid reporting features and gives me the flexibility to work from anywhere while still getting paid.

I don't really have any major complaints. It isn't available in certain locations but that seems more related to local government restrictions than anything on PayPal's side.

Sending and receiving money with PayPal has been really convenient for me especially when dealing with friends. Since it's such a widely used app, most of my friends already have it on their phones so I can count on being able to send money to them anytime without any hassle. Another big plus is linking PayPal to my credit card to take advantage of promotions. For instance, between October and December 2021, connecting a Chase Freedom card to PayPal gave access to 5% cashback which was a nice benefit. Linking a bank account is also quick because you only need your login ID and password instead of the full bank account number so the setup feels very fast.

Cons

PayPal still doesn't seem very common among small stores and local businesses. I'd really like to see it expand more in those areas and offer additional promotions there as well.

Using PayPal feels very simple and the massive number of people who already rely on it is probably what I appreciate most. Since it's such a popular payment option in the market, it comes across as a very trustworthy choice for both parties involved in a transaction.

Customer support is quite limited. If you need help with something like integrating the software into your website, there really isn't anyone you can talk to over the phone. Even so, there are plenty of answers available online which ends up being very helpful.

This has been one of the top online payment platforms I've used especially because it's connected with financial institutions all over the world. It makes sending and receiving money very convenient particularly for small business owners and the fees are quite reasonable. On top of that, the level of security and protection is excellent and transactions are processed quickly. Another thing that really adds value is how fast the support team responds to comments and complaints, plus there's a dedicated dispute resolution center. Using PayPal also gives added confidence against fraud and money laundering which makes withdrawing funds feel safe and worry-free.

After using PayPal for a long time, I honestly don't see any real downsides. It mostly comes down to the user. If your transactions are legitimate, everything moves quickly and you're unlikely to run into any issues. Problems usually only come up when someone is involved in illegal activity and in that case they are putting themselves at risk by using the platform.

Running a business without PayPal for payment processing would be hard to imagine. It comes packed with plenty of useful features, the fees feel almost negligible and the support team has been excellent whenever I've needed help or direction with the platform.

The only part I'm not thrilled with is how international transactions are handled. I understand PayPal is being careful to prevent anything fraudulent which I do appreciate but I do wish those payments were processed faster. Aside from that, I'm very satisfied.
