Pros

Keeping money in PayPal has been really convenient for me because I can send funds there, leave them saved and then quickly pay for things I want online and have them delivered back home. Having money available online gives me peace of mind whenever I come across something I want to buy. It's reliable to keep funds there, user friendly and withdrawing money is also pretty simple.

Cons

I'm not a fan of transfers to a bank account can take as long as 48 hours to show up, depending on the country or continent. Even with that delay, it's still one of the best online banking options available.

Being able to pay through PayPal without sharing my payment details gives me a lot of peace of mind. The Cash Card is also really useful since I can use my PayPal balance for in-store purchases instead of reaching for my debit card. On top of that, PayPal often promotes worthwhile discounts and shopping offers at certain stores which is a nice bonus.

Cons

I'd change the app's home page. I'd prefer the payment options to be shown as larger icons instead of the smaller ones placed at the bottom of the screen.

I really appreciate that it lets me send and receive international payments anytime which has been very convenient. I've also had very positive experiences with their customer support on more than one occasion. Another big plus is that it works with most of the global platforms I use personally. The website interface is clean, clear and simple to navigate. I've been using PayPal for several years and I fully expect to continue using it for a long time.

One thing I wish PayPal would improve is how it handles illegal disputes from clients because that does seem to happen fairly often. It can be very stressful when your account gets limited while you're trying to run a business through the platform.

There was one occasion when a transfer ran into problems. The money was sent but it didn't show up in either the sender's account or the receiver's account. It took several days before I finally received it for myself/the company. Customer support couldn't track the funds either and it honestly felt like the money had just disappeared. No confirmation was sent at the time. Thankfully, this only happened once. Aside from that, the software has been very reliable.

Getting paid through PayPal Here has easily been the fastest way for me to accept credit and check card payments from clients especially when it comes to how quickly the money becomes available to use. Swiping a customer's card or entering their payment details takes very little effort and having access to those funds almost right away is a huge advantage. Back in the earlier days of PayPal Here, I was lucky enough to receive a free card reader for each user which was incredibly handy since I only had to plug it into my iPad and swipe the client's card. The app also has a decent amount of flexibility. For example, you can choose whether a customer signature is required based on certain purchase amounts. On top of that, it can connect with PayPal Inventory Management which adds extra convenience when needed.

As good as PayPal Here is, one downside is that it still cannot be used in some countries around the world.
