It also works with a wide range of payment gateways and continues to grow its reach through ongoing development, acquisitions and added services such as Xoom for remittances and other ventures.

One area where Paypal could do better is addressing the limitations that still exist in some countries when it comes to exchanging different foreign currencies. In such a digitally connected world, it feels like Paypal should be able to offer a broader global payment and currency conversion solution that fits places where regulations are still underdeveloped, such as parts of North Africa and Asia. On top of that lowering payment fees would likely encourage more client transactions and it would also be better if the company avoided frequent changes to its terms and conditions, including charges like dormant account fees for users in Canada and other affected regions.
