“buyer and seller protection”

Pros

The biggest reason I keep using PayPal is the protection it offers on both sides, for buyers and sellers. That matters a lot to me. If someone tries to file a chargeback and you have a signed contract plus proof they used your digital product, PayPal will usually rule in your favor when it's clearly a scam attempt.

Cons

What really frustrates me is how inconsistent they can be about holding funds. There have been situations where I sent every document they asked for and they still came back requesting paperwork I simply don't have. Getting money released is especially more difficult when you work as a consultant or service provider.

“Simple and free”

Pros

It has been excellent to use. It's simple, accepted on a huge number of online store websites and lets me pay for almost anything without hassle. The part I appreciate most is that it's free, secure and has even helped me save money.

Cons

No complaints.

“complete finance solution”

Pros

This covers everything needed in one place to get started with selling, billing and even buying. It feels like a full, complete solution.

Cons

The integration with the internal invoicing system could probably be improved although overall it still made my day.

“Easy setup”

Pros

Getting PayPal up and running for my business took very little effort. It's a well-established leader in payment processing and I trust it more than most options out there. Even more than traditional bank payments.

Cons

One thing that could make it better is if the mobile app offered more of the same features that are available on the full website.

“reliable payments”

Pros

Plenty of useful options are available for delivery and marketing and it works really well for collecting payments, handling billing and even managing payroll.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints about it. It's an overall solid software program that's user-friendly and feels like a quality product.

“Great Pix integration”

Pros

One thing I appreciate most about this app is how many different features it gives us access to while still letting us make purchases right on the same platform. The addition of Pix made everything even more convenient as well.

Cons

Honestly I don't think it needs any major changes because it already works well and feels satisfying to use. If I had to point out one thing, it would just be that the fee charged for converting back from dollars could be a bit lower.

Pros

Whether you're working as a freelancer or using it within a larger company Paypal will be easy and convenient for any kind of user.

Cons

I think it's unfortunate that the commissions are slightly higher compared with some other payment platforms.

“fast transfers”

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about PayPal is how quickly it lets you send money and pay online. My funds feel protected and whenever something comes up, support is there to help. You can reach them anytime and they've been helpful with every issue. Another big plus is buyer protection. If there's a problem with a seller and you're in the right, PayPal makes sure you get treated fairly. That's a big reason why I trust it so much. On top of that my credit card information always feels safe.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any complaints about PayPal. I've never run into any problems using it.

“Polished B2B platform”

Pros

The platform has come a long way and the progress they've made really shows. It feels much more polished now and comes across as very professional for B2B use.

Cons

At this point, I honestly can't point to anything negative or say there's something I dislike about it. It works exactly the way I need it to.

“fast invoicing”

Pros

Sending invoices and getting paid has become really easy with PayPal.

Cons

Their fees feel somewhat expensive and their fraud detection system definitely needs work. Even though our products and services haven't changed, any noticeable jump in sales seems to trigger an account suspension for fraud checks. Then we're stuck submitting identity and business verification documents all over again which honestly feels pretty excessive.

“Versatile payments”

Pros

Being able to both send and receive payments in one place has been a huge relief. It works well for both business and personal use which makes it especially useful since not everyone has access to other payment options. The platform is fast and fairly simple to navigate and overall I've had a really positive experience with it.

Cons

The only hesitation I have at times is around the software's security since I'm not always fully confident about it. That said, they do seem to keep improving and updating that side of things which gives me some reassurance. Other than that, I can't really think of any major downsides.

“fast and safe transactions”

Pros

Paying with PayPal feels secure and quick and the best part is that I only need an email address or a payment link to complete the transaction. That convenience is amazing.

Cons

One downside is that the fees can get pretty high depending on the exchange rate and sometimes that ends up increasing the total cost of the purchase.

“convenient mobile payments”

Pros

Both the website and the mobile app feel very dependable and convenient to use. It works almost like having a bank on my phone and it's one of the best options for shopping online.

Cons

Getting access to customer service phone numbers is quite difficult and that's a major issue that really needs to be fixed. The fees are nearly reasonable but changing or removing a card that was added can also be frustrating.

“shady partnernship”

Pros

The concept behind PayPal is honestly appealing. If the service actually worked the way it's meant to, I'd still want to keep using it.

Cons

A big reason I can't trust PayPal is its connection to Ingo Money which feels like a very low-quality partner. In my view, Ingo comes across as shady and has been tied to far too many data breach concerns.

“Handy global invoicing”

Pros

One thing that makes this application work well is its user-friendly interface so just about anyone can start using it without much trouble. It lets you send and receive payments both locally and internationally which is really useful. You can also accept payments in different currencies and the amount is automatically converted and settled into your bank account in your own currency. Creating invoices is simple too. You can enter the buyer's email and address, send the invoice and the buyer can pay directly through it. Another plus is that PayPal can be integrated with websites and e-commerce stores as a payment gateway. Customers are able to pay using their bank account or debit card and the funds are added to your PayPal account. On top of that all transactions can be monitored from a single dashboard which helps keep everything organized.

Cons

In some countries it only accepts payments as Goods & Services and the fees charged on those transactions can be a significant loss for sellers. That fee really should be reduced. Another issue is that payments are not settled instantly since it usually takes around 3 to 4 days for the money to reach your bank account. If a customer does not confirm the transaction, the payment can also be placed on hold and may only be released after 21 days from receipt.

“Best for international payments”

Pros

When it comes to processing payments, this has been the best platform for me. I mostly rely on it for international transactions and it works really well.

Cons

There really are no major downsides from my side since it's a solid platform for making payments. Occasionally, I run into some errors but that's about it and I haven't noticed any other issues.

“clean interface”

Pros

PayPal has one of the simplest interfaces I've used which makes everything feel simple right away. Managing payment methods is hassle-free and being able to handle payments on the go through the app adds a lot of convenience. It's also quick to process so it's easy to move on with business without delays.

Cons

Honestly there's very little to complain about with PayPal. It works really well and does exactly what I need it to do.

“protection against disputes”

Pros

Running an eCommerce store, the biggest advantage of PayPal for me is the protection it offers against unreasonable refund requests from buyers. When a refund dispute comes up, PayPal acts as an independent middle party which gives me more confidence and support.

Cons

One downside is that the transaction fees are fairly high compared with other payment processors. On top of that you really have to keep everything in order because if PayPal notices anything suspicious in your eCommerce business, they can place sanctions on your account.

“Payments without hassle”

Pros

One of the best things about PayPal is the peace of mind it gives me when I'm buying or selling. Having money transferred straight into my bank account is really convenient and I don't have to deal with extra steps just to access it and then make a trip to the bank. I also appreciate being able to use my credit card online without constantly stressing about fraud.

Cons

Honestly I can't think of anything I dislike about it. It's incredibly convenient overall and being able to use it right from my phone makes it even better.

“Flexible global transfers”

Pros

Handling international payments is much more convenient with PayPal because I can convert the balance in my account into other currencies whenever needed. That makes it useful for paying vendors and sending money to employees in other countries for business purposes. It works especially well for recurring payments too. I'm able to add contacts to my PayPal Business account and schedule payments for a specific date and time once they're set up. It definitely helps simplify automated payroll payments.

Cons

One downside is that they can place holds on funds whenever they choose which can cause serious accounts receivable problems.
