“versatile tools for sellers”

Pros

Paypal offers business owners plenty of ways to use it in their day-to-day operations which helps them avoid paying for costly extra software.

Cons

The only issue I've run into is that some selling platforms have stopped supporting Paypal and moved to their own systems. That usually ends up costing sellers more and cuts into overall profit.

“instant support”

Pros

Completing transactions or sending money is about as simple as it gets. I just enter my card details once and can use it for purchases and payments practically anywhere in the world. I've been using PayPal for around 7 years and for the most part the experience has been consistently hassle-free. Their customer service team is also quick and efficient especially when it comes to handling disputes and they really go the extra mile to make sure I get the support I need.

Cons

I use it only for personal transactions and I'm not sure whether the delay comes from my bank or from PayPal itself but when I transfer money this way I have to wait about a month to access my cash. I know other people receive theirs the same day so it may just be something specific to my situation.

“Reliable invoicing”

Pros

Sending invoices through PayPal has worked really well for me since I can email them directly to customers and get paid without much hassle. It's also helpful that most ecommerce sites and many other online platforms already support PayPal as part of their payment options. I've linked my bank card to the account so moving money between PayPal and my bank is very convenient. On top of that the platform feels very secure when it comes to handling payments and account protection.

Cons

One downside is that PayPal still isn't available in many African countries which really limits access for a lot of potential users.

Pros

Having another payment option is really convenient, whether I'm paying for parking or buying something online. I also used it once to send money internationally and that was awesome.

Cons

I just wish it could be used in more places.

“Secure checkout”

Pros

Managing online sales has been much less stressful because PayPal keeps both my information and my customers' data well protected. Security feels like a real priority and that matters a lot when handling payments online.

Cons

The first transfer to my bank felt like it took forever. That said, it was probably more about me being overly excited about my first sale than an actual issue with PayPal.

“fast and reliable payments”

Pros

Running my business is a lot more manageable with PayPal because it gives me a secure, reliable and fast way to handle payments, send invoices and keep track of transaction records.

Cons

Honestly I don't feel like anything is missing from PayPal. It really seems like they've covered everything a small business owner would need.

“Instant transfers for global payments”

Pros

PayPal really stands out for moving money electronically with the same purpose as a bank transfer but at a much faster pace. A lot of people use their personal or business PayPal accounts to pay on shopping websites like eBay, make purchases with partner merchants and send money internationally. The biggest advantage is the speed. While banks can take up to two business days for international transfers, money sent through PayPal from places like China can show up instantly. And if a transfer is sent by mistake, it can be returned just as fast which helps avoid problems for everyone involved.

Cons

Their fees can vary depending on your country, the amount of money you move and how long you have had the account. Because of that, each transaction may include commissions that make you pay a bit more than the actual product price. Even so, for international transfers the fees are still much lower than what banks usually charge.

“Smooth payments”

Pros

Payments fit really well into websites and social platforms which makes collecting money very convenient. It's also simple to keep track of income and other financial activity. Another big plus is the customer service. When something goes wrong with an online purchase, their team is quick to step in and help resolve the issue.

Cons

There's not much to complain about overall and I get that it's part of their security process but it would be better if users were notified before their accounts get locked. It can be pretty frustrating when that happens.

“widely used”

Pros

PayPal is very user-friendly and ranks at the top when it comes to managing your own money. One of the biggest advantages is that it's accepted almost everywhere.

Cons

The only downside was that managing my profile felt a bit different than expected.

“Dependable global payments”

Pros

Running a digital marketing business for clients around the world means I need a payment option that actually works internationally and PayPal has been exactly that for me. I can accept payments securely at any time from almost any country even though there are still a few places where PayPal isn't available yet. It also makes buying digital products very convenient. Another big plus is that it's accepted on nearly every global platform I use which makes everything much more practical. Domestic transfers also come without a fee which is a nice benefit. The gift card feature has been handy at times too. Overall, I absolutely love using PayPal.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is that PayPal often seems to favor the sender more than the receiver. If a client opens a dispute unfairly, there's no real guarantee that your money will be protected. I've seen a few friends get their accounts limited because of dishonest dispute claims from their clients. PayPal really needs to improve this and handle disputes in a way that is fair to both sides.

“Terrible support”

Pros

PayPal keeps things very simple. It works with almost everything and paying usually takes just a couple of taps from me plus a quick confirmation.

Cons

Customer support is where it really falls apart. As long as nothing goes wrong, everything is fine but the moment you need help resolving an issue, be ready for weeks of calls and robot-driven messages. It took me a long time to get a very basic problem fixed even though it was something I wasn't allowed to correct myself.

“secure and reliable”

Pros

When it comes to sending and receiving money, PayPal has been one of the most reliable platforms for me. The part I appreciate most is its security system and how convenient the transactions are. The app is also simple to use and doesn't feel confusing or complicated compared to other options.

Cons

So far I haven't really run into any issues with the software. The only thing I've noticed is that PayPal's fees tend to be higher than those of some other payment platforms although I can somewhat understand the reason for that.

“free setup with bank linking”

Pros

One of the best things about PayPal is that it's free to use and you can connect both your bank account and your credit or debit card. That makes it really convenient to pay on almost any website with PayPal even when there's no balance sitting in your PayPal account. The support is also very reliable, with a free 24/7 phone number available whenever you need assistance. On top of that the app on both Android and iOS is quick and very simple to navigate.

Cons

The only real downside is that PayPal still can't be used on Amazon which is one of the most popular shopping platforms in the world.

“user-friendly and safe”

Pros

A big reason for why I enjoy using it so much is obviously the convenience but also how user friendly it is. Setting up an account is simple and sending or receiving money anywhere in the country usually works without any trouble. It also connects with almost any platform which makes it really convenient. The part I appreciate most is the security because I feel confident that my money is protected when I use PayPal.

Cons

One thing I didnt like is that PayPal cannot be connected to Cash App and some other services people use to receive money. I'm also not a fan of the app freezing when I'm trying to make payments to different individuals. On top of that PayPal's transaction fees are pretty expensive.

Using PayPal for patient payments has really helped on both sides. It makes the payment process much more convenient and manageable for us, while also being simpler for the patients.

“clear fees”

Pros

The platform is simple, everything is clearly explained and the customer service has been very reliable.

Cons

I'm forced to look into alternatives such as AirWallex, Payoneer and similar services because of the 4% fee on contractor payments. It's ridiculous.

“Multi-currency transactions”

Pros

PayPal has been really practical for both receiving and sending money whether it's for personal use or work-related payments. It helps me handle transactions and negotiations quickly, conveniently and without extra fees becoming a problem. The platform is user friendly, simple to access and it feels secure thanks to its password protection, numeric and digital verification plus the alerts for any movement in the account. Another big advantage is being able to make both domestic and international transactions in one place.

Cons

One issue that comes up at times is the slower loading speed when I try to access my information from my phone and that can delay my transactions. It usually takes a few extra seconds for the platform to fully respond and stabilize before I can properly access and use the services.
