“dependable”
Pros
After using PayPal for a long time, it has been consistently dependable for me. I haven't run into any transaction problems at all. On the few occasions when I needed to send a refund, it was handled quickly and without hassle for both my customer and me. The fees feel very fair and the one time I contacted customer support, the service was outstanding.
Cons
Honestly there is very little for me to criticize about this software. I can't point to any real downside that comes with using it. I tested several alternatives before settling on it and PayPal is the only one that has fully met my needs without any problems.

“Convenient international payments”
Pros
Getting paid internationally through PayPal has been really convenient. It's a dependable platform and I appreciate that it notifies me about every transaction on my account, including any fees or delays. Everything feels transparent and the processing charges are fairly low.
Cons
One thing that was quite frustrating was not being able to link my SA bank account. At the moment, that option seems limited to US citizens only. This definitely needs improvement because being able to transfer funds directly to my bank account would make the service much better.

“payments with privacy”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate about PayPal is how securely it handles online payments. My financial information stays protected and isn't shared with sellers or other platforms which gives me a lot more confidence when shopping online. It also means I don't have to hand over personal or banking details to stores or strangers.
Cons
Since PayPal works as a financial institution, it really should offer users the option to request a card for making purchases in physical stores as well.

“no monthly charges”
Pros
PayPal has been one of the few services I genuinely trust when it comes to handling my money. There are no monthly charges and while there is a small fee for receiving payments, it's pretty minimal. I use it for all of my online shopping because it helps keep my bank card information from being exposed or stolen. The platform is also very user-friendly and whenever there's an issue, customer support is quick to respond. I also appreciate getting monthly statements by email. If you have strong credit, they even offer a credit card you can apply for. I would absolutely recommend this service.
Cons
Honestly I'm happy with almost everything about this software. The only thing I'd want changed is that when they place a hold on your money, they should send a clear message explaining why. Aside from that, I really don't have any complaints.

“Buy anything from anywhere”
Pros
Using this software feels very convenient because it works in most parts of the world and supports nearly every kind of online transaction. I can use it to buy goods online, purchase crypto through its own app or website and handle payments without much hassle. It is also considered one of the safest payment methods available which gives extra confidence while sending or receiving money. On top of that it saves a lot of valuable time and helps keep financial records organized so I would definitely choose this software for transactions.
Cons
I honestly think this software is excellent overall but one limitation stands out. In certain countries, it still is not available for use and some vendors also do not prefer accepting this payment method.

“Practical for freelancers”
Pros
One thing that makes PayPal valuable is how well it handles payments especially since so many freelance platforms online use it for payouts these days. Because of that, it ends up being a very practical and useful payment facilitator.
Cons
What bothers me about PayPal is that in certain countries it does not have partnerships with local banks. Because of this, you often cannot really use PayPal unless you already have an international bank account or a Visa or MasterCard. That becomes frustrating in those same countries, where getting a Visa or MasterCard can be difficult, very bureaucratic and may even require large deposits just to open an account. That is my main complaint about PayPal.

The invoicing process is something I really appreciate because it makes requesting payments much more convenient.

“essential transaction tool”
Pros
Pretty quickly, this turned into an essential part of my daily routine and I now handle almost everything related to my money through it.
Cons
I'd really like to see PayPal accepted by more businesses in Greece, along with the option to pay in person directly using your PayPal balance.

“secure transfers across countries”
Pros
PayPal has been a very dependable option for buying products online. It feels safe when making purchases, works in a lot of different countries and the whole process is very simple to use.
Cons
The downside for me is that the taxes are fairly high and there's also a purchase limit since I can only buy items priced at $500 or less.

“reliable support”
Pros
Even after getting my own cards, I kept using PayPal because my dad always said their customer support was excellent and that really turned out to be true. Whenever I ran into an issue, they answered quickly and anytime I needed a refund, I got my money back without trouble. I'm really thankful for how dependable the app and website have been for me.
Cons
There was one time when I tried to link a debit card and they didn't return the authorization charge. Still, considering how much money and hassle PayPal has saved me overall, I can live with that one issue.

“Safe invoicing”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate about PayPal is the strong security it provides for the money in my account. Every time I create an invoice through PayPal, it works out exactly the way I expect. I also like that when you refer someone, you get a dollar.
Cons
The only issue I have with PayPal is that it does not offer enough support for multiple currencies.

“Convenient report downloads”
Pros
Downloading reports in different formats has been really convenient. We use it at our school to handle all kinds of parent payments, from lunch purchases to library donations and pulling a list of payments for a specific date range is very simple.
Cons
Tracking down a specific payment isn't always very simple. After transferring payments from a certain date range, if there's still money left in the account and I need to figure out where it came from, it can be pretty difficult to trace.

“trusted global payments”
Pros
PayPal has been a reliable payment option for clients. It supports different funding methods and comes from a company people already trust. The added money protection is reassuring and the fact that it's accepted in most countries makes it even more convenient.
Cons
One frustrating part is how slow customer service can be which means even simple problems may take a long time to get resolved. The newer withdrawal restrictions for users in Hong Kong and Singapore are also unreasonable. Allowing only around $3,000 to $5,000 per year to withdraw back to a PayPal account, then making people wait another year for more, is very inconvenient. On top of that PayPal sometimes refuses to raise the limit which makes the situation even worse.

“easy mobile transfers”
Pros
The convenience really stands out especially on mobile. I'm often prompted for two-step verification which gives me confidence that the account is well protected. It makes paying for goods and services quick and hassle-free.
Cons
Even though the two-step verification adds a strong layer of security, it can feel a bit tiring at times. Still, I wouldn't want it removed.

“Protects bank info”
Pros
One of the biggest benefits is the safety and security. It helps protect my bank information and keeps criminals from getting access to it.

“connects banks and cards well”
Pros
What really works well with PayPal Software is how it connects with banks, credit cards and even discount offers from ecommerce providers. It makes payments feel more convenient and gives you more options in one place.
Cons
Customer support could definitely be better. Managing auto-pay is also more frustrating than it should be and some providers still do not have deep enough integration which makes order tracking and handling returns harder.

“fast one-touch login”
Pros
Paying with PayPal is really fast and the one-touch login means there's no need to keep pulling out card details or entering expiry dates every time. A couple of clicks and the payment is done. The overall user experience feels polished and the buyer protection is another big plus.
Cons
One thing that's frustrating is that you can't set payments to always go through in the merchant's default currency. PayPal automatically pushes you toward paying in your own currency and that's likely because they make money on the conversion. The exchange rates can be surprisingly poor and using the default option could end up costing you quite a bit over time.

“Low upfront cost”
Pros
It doesn't need much prior experience at all. Implementation doesn't cost anything upfront which is a big plus. The only charges come when you send or receive money for goods or services and those fees are fairly small.
Cons
If you use it for a higher volume of transactions, the fees may not seem like much at first but they can gradually add up as more money moves through the platform.
