“Easy website integration”

Pros

Getting it connected to our website for payment processing was easy. Customer support was very helpful and there are plenty of online resources available if you run into any issues and need guidance.

Cons

The fee structure isn't very clear and the charges are higher than some competing options. Other than that, everything else has been really good.

“Send and receive effortlessly”

Pros

Being able to send and receive money without leaving the house has been a huge plus. I can shop online and pay my bills right from home and that convenience is exactly what I need.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any complaints about the service. It handles my everyday needs well especially for online use and taking care of things from home without having to go anywhere.

“top-tier dispute resolution”

Pros

Compared with most payment platforms, PayPal operates on a completely different level. Depositing and withdrawing money is incredibly convenient and that really stands out. Another part I really appreciate is the resolution feature, If you receive the wrong item after a purchase or make a transaction by mistake, you can file a dispute and PayPal usually steps in to help you recover your money. It's also consistently focused on security so your funds feel much safer than they do with many other payment systems.

Cons

The only part I really dislike is getting locked out of my account because of security concerns from time to time and it usually happens when a large amount of money comes in.

“account lockouts”

Pros

Getting money from PayPal to my bank is really quick and usually takes only about a minute. I also feel much safer using PayPal for online purchases because I don't have to enter my credit card number when I pay. Another big plus is the buyer protection. I've been scammed before by online stores. One never delivered my order and another clothing company refused to refund me. PayPal stepped in and returned my money both times.

Cons

I did run into a problem after changing my phone number and got locked out of my account once. There have also been a few occasions when PayPal wouldn't allow me to add my new debit card.

“flexible invoicing”

Pros

Most customers or clients already know how it works which makes things much simpler. It also lets you create and customize invoices directly from your account, send them out easily, set up recurring payments and handle plenty of other useful tasks.

Cons

The customer service still needs improvement and that can become a real problem. If customers have a bad support experience, they may stop using PayPal or refuse to use it in the first place which could end up costing your business sales or even put the business itself at risk.

“Customizable invoices”

Pros

Across phones, tablets and computers, PayPal works reliably and lets me handle pretty much any payment task without hassle. The currency conversion feature is especially helpful when paying business partners in other countries. I also appreciate the extra security it adds to transactions, along with the fraud protection. If a purchase ends up being fraudulent, PayPal can help recover the money. Another big advantage is that it keeps my bank and credit card details protected through encryption.

Cons

Transfers to friends and family may be free but once the payment is tied to a business transaction, the fees start to add up. There is also a 1% charge if you want quick access to your money, while the free transfer to a bank account can take a few days. On top of that PayPal is known for being very strict about account freezes. If your account gets locked, they can hold your funds until you prove that you did nothing wrong.

“strong protection against fraud”

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is the security. It gives me peace of mind knowing both my information and my clients' data are protected. Sending and receiving payments is very convenient and the recurring payment option is especially useful for bills and those expenses that are easy to forget.

Cons

The only issue I've run into is contacting PayPal customer support. It's usually been a bit difficult to reach them which may just be bad luck on my side but it has happened more than once.

“Globally trusted”

Pros

It's available almost everywhere which makes sending and receiving payments convenient across the world. The interface is also simple to navigate so it never feels confusing or overly complicated. On top of that PayPal has a strong reputation and well-known brand which gives users confidence and a sense of security when handling e-payments and transactions.

Cons

There really aren't many downsides to PayPal since it's a trustworthy platform overall. If there's one area that could be better, it would be the UX design, as the interface could be made more visually appealing for users.

“useful for online shopping”

Pros

This comes with really useful features and the option to link my debit or credit card is especially excellent. It helps me pay for online shopping in a very convenient way.

Cons

The mobile features still need more development because there are quite a few limitations there.

“Covers it all”

Pros

PayPal really seems to have every angle covered these days even crypto which makes it feel like the top option overall.

Cons

Their fees could definitely be more competitive especially since some rivals charge much less. There are also times when order payments get put on hold due to suspected buyer-side activity and resolving that can take anywhere from a few days to a week. I just wish there were a quicker way to handle those situations.

“protected transfers across borders”

Pros

Compared with services like Perfect Money or Skrill, PayPal feels much more user-friendly and far less complicated to use. The part I appreciate most is being able to send money to family and friends in different countries without paying a fee. Another reassuring thing about PayPal is the security of my credit and debit card information so I don't have to constantly worry about scams or losing money. I also rely on it to receive payments from micro jobs I do which makes applying for work from around the world a lot less stressful since my PayPal account is connected directly to my bank account.

Cons

The most frustrating part for me is the delay when transferring money to my bank account for free because it can take several days before the funds actually show up. If I need access to the money right away, then I have to pay a 1% fee which is the unfortunate trade-off.

“Global payment automation”

Pros

MassPay, IPN and API integrations let me automate most of my business's financial infrastructure which has been a huge advantage. It's also available in most countries around the world so supporting international payments has been much easier.

Cons

One downside is that when issuing a refund, PayPal no longer returns the transaction fee which is a recent change. On top of that the overall processing fees are generally higher than what some competitors charge.

Pros

Paypal has felt like my own little personal bank for years. Using it has been very convenient since it transfers funds directly into my bank account. I can choose to withdraw money or send funds to anyone I need to. I really appreciate how well Paypal is managed overall and the whole process feels simple and convenient.

Cons

Pros

Using it feels safe and it's simple to use from just about anywhere. I can pay for whatever I need without any hassle and getting access to cash is fast when I need it.

Cons
