“Limited without app”
Pros
It's accepted by millions of people and businesses worldwide.
Cons
The part I like least about PayPal is that if you don't have the app installed, you end up with fewer features.

“Payments across currencies”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages for us is how simple it is to use especially since many of our customers are not very comfortable with technology and can still complete payments without any trouble. The multi-currency support matters a lot to our business as well because our products and services are priced in U.S. dollars.
Cons
Transaction fees feel a bit high to me especially when there are other options on the market that charge less per payment. That said, the biggest difference I notice is that PayPal delivers a very solid service while requiring less effort from the end user.

“instant card access”
Pros
Sending invoices to customers with PayPal has been really convenient. As soon as a payment comes through, the money is automatically added to my PayPal business debit card which makes cash flow much simpler to manage. From creating the invoice to sending it out, the whole thing usually takes me about three minutes. It also helps a lot that I can quickly see who has paid and who still hasn't and uploading tracking numbers to each order is just as easy.
Cons
The part I'd change is the PayPal fees. On larger orders especially, the higher fees can take a noticeable bite out of profits so I really wish those costs were lower.

“Handy invoicing”
Pros
PayPal has been very user-friendly to use. Sending and receiving money happens instantly which makes everyday transactions really convenient for me. The invoicing feature is reliable and accurate and adding PayPal as a payment option for a business is quick and easy. It's also simple to connect bank cards to the account without any hassle.
Cons
Only downside is that the platform does not offer many payout options.

“nice Shopify integration”
Pros
Payments connect through PayPal in a simple process which makes things much easier for anyone handling integrations. It only takes a few steps to set up and put into place whether the website is built on Shopify or Magento. That flexibility really helps and it's clear the integration has been thoroughly developed and well tested.
Cons
There's really only one area I think needs improvement and that's the commission cost on payments. On top of that the currency conversion fees feel too high. It seems like the international exchange rates are only partially defined and that ends up hurting the overall conversion process.

“secure system”
Pros
Money goes through quickly, the system feels secure and online transactions are reliable. A lot of clients already use it which makes it even more convenient and trustworthy.
Cons
The downside is that not every customer uses it yet and it really should be available in more countries instead of being limited mostly to some European countries and the USA.

“Everything done online”
Pros
Sending money is quick and easy. Being able to handle everything online without having to leave the house is also really convenient.
Cons
I honestly do not have any major complaints but getting the account verified took longer than expected and was a bit of a hassle especially since some companies require verification before you can send or receive money.

“very convenient”
Pros
Handling online payments has become much more convenient with PayPal.
Cons
What I really wish they would improve is adding a clearer description when payments come in so it's obvious who sent the money. The per-transaction fees are also a bit high. Another challenge came up when using it for a nonprofit since the account had to be tied to one individual which made it difficult to find someone willing to have that information under their name.

“Useful shipping tools”
Pros
Running a small business with PayPal works really well for e-commerce. Sending invoices is quick and buyers receive them right away. Payments through PayPal Goods and Services feel secure and the fraud protection adds extra confidence for both sides. The shipping tools are also helpful since they provide buyers with shipping details and tracking information.
Cons
One thing that could be better is the billing feature for automatic payments. It would be more useful if, whenever auto pay is set up for a vendor, the system also automatically sent a billing invoice to the buyer.

One of the best parts of PayPal is how it makes sending payments much more convenient, without any obstacles getting in the way.

“versatile crypto options”
Pros
Sending and receiving money through PayPal is very easy which is one of the things I appreciate most about it. In most cases you can also avoid transaction fees unless you're transferring money internationally and even then the charges are usually very small for lower amounts. Another nice addition is the option to invest in cryptocurrency which makes it a useful way to put extra funds to work.
Cons
Not everyone uses PayPal so it's still a good idea to keep other payment options available.

“simple navigation”
Pros
I like that getting around the software is very easy and everything about it is user friendly.
Cons
In the beginning I probably would have said I wished more companies accepted PayPal but that's no longer an issue since I'm seeing more and more businesses using it now. No problems to speak of otherwise.

“Offers useful tools”
Pros
Running a small business feels a lot more manageable with PayPal because the system is set up really well for business needs. Payment processing is quick and they also offer a wide range of products that help take some of the stress out of handling different business tasks.
Cons
My only real complaint is that they can place a block on your account if you send or receive payments from the same person too many times. The hold lasts around 4 hours before it gets lifted which could definitely be improved.

“trusted security”
Pros
Moving money with PayPal is quick and hassle-free which is something I really appreciate. It also gives me peace of mind knowing the funds are being sent to the correct person. On top of that the MoneyPool feature has been incredibly handy for different situations especially when using it to collect donations. Overall, it feels like one of the safest options I can use for online, digital financial transactions.
Cons
There was one time when I had to report an unauthorized charge on my account and it happened very early in the morning when no live support agent was available. The problem did get sorted out eventually but the uncertainty during that moment could have been avoided. For a company this large, I really think 24/7 support should be available for urgent issues.

“Awful support delay”
Pros
Up until my last birthday, PayPal had always worked reliably for me. Whenever someone sent me money through PayPal, I received it right away which I've always appreciated. The cash-out fees are fairly affordable too and that's a big reason I felt comfortable depositing money into my account so I could buy myself a computer online for my 38th birthday. I also really appreciated that cash reloads usually post quickly since it normally only takes about 15 minutes.
Cons
Things went badly after I loaded cash onto my PayPal Cash Card. On February 6, I added money at 7-Eleven so I could pay back someone I owed and that transaction went through perfectly, just like every other time I had done it before. Then on my birthday, February 10, I went to Walmart to make two cash loads, one for $400 and another right after for $500 because I wanted to order a new laptop online that night as a birthday gift to myself. The cashier was new and didn't realize PayPal only allows up to $500 in loads per day before it can trigger a flag for possible money laundering. I didn't know that either. I completed both cash loads and kept my receipts because it was nearly $1,000 in cash and it was all the money I had to live on for the next few weeks. The problem was that the money never showed up on my card. From there, dealing with customer service turned into a month-long mess and the worst runaround I've ever had with any company's support team. It took about a month and a half before they finally released my money back to me. It completely ruined my birthday, left me broke and kept me without real answers for far too long. I would strongly warn others not to make the same mistake.

“Branded invoices”
Pros
Handling international payments with PayPal has been incredibly convenient for our team. The currency conversion works flawlessly and the customizable invoicing is a big reason we continue to rely on it. We can create professional-looking invoices that stay branded and consistent every time which really matters for the kind of work we do. Even with a small team that has different levels of technical ability, everyone is able to use PayPal comfortably without running into problems.
Cons
The only thing I'd really change is having a longer and more detailed invoice history available. Aside from that, there's honestly very little to complain about with this software.

“supports multiple currencies”
Pros
One thing that really works well is being able to receive payments not just locally but from different countries since it supports multiple currencies. On top of that PayPal connects with many online work platforms which makes sense because the payments are secure and usually processed quickly. The interface is also user-friendly so moving between tabs and finding what you need does not feel complicated.
Cons
Although it is one of the most dependable tools for sending and receiving money online, getting help quickly when something goes wrong is still frustrating. There is no real person available to speak with which makes support feel limited. I also had a withdrawal request that took quite a while because PayPal can place holds on payments whenever they decide to.

“Strong fraud protection”
Pros
Whether you're selling online or shopping online, PayPal is incredibly useful. It's one of the best platforms for handling financial transactions on the internet, with solid protection against fraud for both buyers and sellers. I also appreciate that you can link multiple debit and credit cards and choose whichever one you want for each purchase. On top of that it works really well for freelancers who get paid through PayPal for online work they do for different companies.
Cons
The only part I'm not too happy with is that payments don't show up in the PayPal account right away. Instead of appearing immediately, it can take several hours before the payment is reflected in the account.

“no security concerns”
Pros
Handling payments and keeping track of everything is incredibly convenient. I also don't have to stress much about fraud since PayPal takes care of that side for me. Almost everyone trusts PayPal so sending and receiving money usually happens without any issues.
Cons
Checking disputes in the mobile app is fairly easy but on a computer the option isn't located where you'd expect it to be.
