“highly responsive team”

Pros

It has been the best option for international online payments in my usage. I have been using it for many years and the app feels simple to navigate with a clean interface. It offers good value and creating an account is free which is a big plus. Customer support has also been very responsive whenever needed. Payments feel secure and the built-in invoicing works instantly which is really useful. The app design and customization options are also quite good. Overall the positives easily make up about 95%.

Cons

There are only a few downsides for me, around 5%. Most things work well but bank withdrawals can be slow at times and issues like account freezes do happen occasionally.

“Feels trustworthy”

Pros

Paypal has been a really reliable option for me personally. I do not use it much in a professional setting since we already rely on more advanced payment platforms for that. Even so, Paypal feels very trustworthy and the buyer protection they offer makes it feel worth using. It provides solid value and I have run into very few bugs.

Cons

I would still like to see more advanced built-in technology, closer to what Stripe offers especially so it could work better for things like our charity fundraisers.

Pros

Having both free and paid plans is a big plus and the platform is very simple to use. It also connects with a wide range of platforms which makes it really useful for handling both incoming and outgoing payments.

Cons

At this point I honestly haven't run into anything I'd consider a downside. My experience with it has been completely positive up to now.

Pros

Found it user-friendly and dependable for handling payments. Whether I'm sending money, receiving payments or paying during online checkout, everything goes through quickly, securely and without any hassle. The buyer and seller protection features are something I really value because they add a lot of confidence whenever I use the platform. The interface is clean, simple and simple to move around and the support team has been helpful any time I've had to contact them. Overall it's an excellent payment service and one I'd definitely recommend.

Cons

transaction fees can sometimes seem a little expensive but the platform's security and reliability usually make that trade-off worth it.

Pros

It has been outstanding for us. Handling payments and checking account details feels smooth and the expense tracking, invoicing, customization options, customer support and overall value are all among the best we've worked with as a business.

Cons

It really comes across as a user-friendly platform with plenty of features that make business transactions feel secure. The pricing may be a bit high now but it wasn't expensive at the start and it has probably earned that position by becoming so widely used around the world.

“Outstanding customer support team”

Pros

Very simple to use and the customer support team is one of the best parts. They usually get back to me within 24 to 48 hours at most which I really appreciate.

Cons

I don't like the way they handle fraud reimbursements. I'm not happy with the fact that if a payment is sent through friends or family, there is no reimbursement even when the transaction was fraudulent.

Paypal has been a really good fit for our company and gives us strong value for what we need. The support team is simple to work with and always responds quickly. We care a lot about keeping things user-friendly and Paypal helps us stay focused on the priorities that matter most. Sending invoices is very simple and it makes tracking expenses much easier. Our team also appreciates being able to customize it so it matches our brand identity.

Cons

At this point it's doing exactly what we expected it to do which is exactly what we wanted. Like we do with all of our tools, we regularly keep an eye on whether they're helping or getting in the way and if anything comes up, we'll definitely reach out.

Pros

it has been one of the best apps for sending and receiving money and it has made things much more convenient for freelancers when it comes to getting paid.

Cons

I really don't like that even if PayPal doesn't clearly charge transfer fees, it seems like they make up for it through the currency conversion rates. For example, if you are in the UK and receive dollars, the live Google rate might show 100 USD = 76 GBP but PayPal may only give you around 70 GBP for that same amount. That is a big difference and you can end up losing quite a lot of money during conversions.

Pros

Keeping my payment details private is one of the biggest advantages. PayPal is used by millions of merchants around the world and works in more than 200 countries so it handles both local and international payments without any trouble. The interface is user-friendly which makes creating an account and managing it pretty simple. It also runs smoothly on desktop, phone and tablet so the experience stays consistent even when I'm on the move.

Cons

The part I like least is the refund timing. A seller may issue the refund quickly but PayPal can take longer to process it. On top of that, the transaction fees are quite noticeable especially for business accounts, cross-border payments and currency conversions. Those charges can really add up for small businesses, freelancers and anyone working with international clients.

Pros

Creating customer invoices and requesting payment for goods was simple to handle. One thing I really appreciate about it is the buyer protection it provides especially when compared with some other platforms.

Cons

I was not happy with having to pay a processing fee if you want access to your funds faster than the standard 3 business days mentioned for a transfer.

Pros

Payment transactions feel very secure and the expense management tools come with invoicing and built-in security. It's also accepted by hundreds of online retailers which makes it useful in a lot of places. On top of that, there are several payment methods available, including buy now, pay later installment plans.

Cons

Getting around the site can be a bit difficult and it's not always very user-friendly. Customer support mostly happens through online channels so there isn't really a live person available to talk to.

Pros

Using it feels very simple and the interface is practical enough for quick transfers whether I'm handling something for work or sending money outside of work.

Cons

One thing that still trips me up is the default payment method. Even after I've already set and confirmed it in advance, the app doesn't always use that option.

Pros

Connecting it to our Shopify store has worked really well and it makes capturing payments feel very secure and simple. The reporting features have also been helpful for keeping track of everything.

Cons

There honestly is not much to complain about with it but the notifications do feel a bit excessive. You can disable them although there are still some alerts we actually want to keep.

Pros

Paying vendors through it is quick and hassle-free. It's the option I prefer most when ordering from vendors because the transactions feel secure and the whole checkout process is very organized.

Cons

strict security measures can lock me out of my account when I'm using a different computer or device. When that happens, I have to deal with a lengthy authentication process that ends up wasting time.

This platform feels secure and the overall setup is simple to navigate. I can send payments quickly without worrying about safety which has been one of the best parts of using it.

Cons

At times the system does lag and act buggy. Once I travel outside of the United States, the experience changes and the performance is not as consistent as it is at home.

Pros

Being able to send and receive invoices without hassle has been really useful for us. The cash-the-check feature is also an excellent tool and adds a lot of convenience.

Cons

Navigating through the different sections of the app is not very user-friendly. It can get pretty confusing at times if you have not had the proper training.

It brings a few strong benefits like worldwide acceptance and quick transaction processing. It also keeps financial details protected since that information is not shared with the recipient.

Cons

On the downside, its fees can be complicated and inconsistent, there is a risk of account limitations or blocks and the experience may feel confusing for new users or for anyone looking for better exchange rates.

The security features are one of my favorite parts and sending or receiving money through PayPal is quick and convenient from almost anywhere.

Cons

The fees on some transactions are frustrating and customer support can take too long to respond when there's a problem or a question.

At least it lets me send money so it basically does what it's supposed to do. The fees for using the platform are also fairly low which is one of the few positives.

Cons

Trying to send money is frustrating because there always seem to be problems. My account keeps timing out and I get stuck dealing with endless bot verification tests. On top of that, I added $2,000 to my account and the funds disappeared.

“Can pay across the world”

Pros

Paying for things safely across the world has been really convenient. It's quick, fast and secure and a lot of companies accept it which makes it even more useful.

Cons

Honestly I don't really have any complaints. I've been using it for years and plan to keep using it. It's very good software to use even if you're new.
