Another plus is that PaityPal gives cash back rewards on purchases made through the platform and there is also the option to apply for a PayPal credit card. I don't have any complaints as such.

Back then, it actually protected its customers but that no longer seems to be the case. After a dispute with a company that was abusively charging contracts I never asked for, PayPal did not even bother looking into the issue and automatically sided with the abusive seller.

The worst part is that consumer protection feels completely nonexistent and their so-called dispute service is absolutely useless above all.

The biggest downside with it is the very high currency conversion fees which are noticeably higher than what many competing services charge.

The transaction fees are on the high side and customer support can take too long to respond when something goes wrong. There are also times when accounts get put on hold without a clear reason and dispute resolution can feel limited if the issue becomes complicated.
