“I prefer it over using my card”

Pros

Being able to move money from my Apple Wallet to other cards is really useful. I also prefer using this instead of carrying or swiping my actual debit card.

Cons

The security has been a concern for me. It seems too weak and I've heard it can be hacked pretty easily. My account has been hacked before and I also get a lot of spam emails about PayPal payments I never made or approved.

Pros

Since so many people use it, sending or receiving money is really convenient with almost anyone.

Cons

The fees run a little high and instant withdrawals come with a charge. I really wish those were free.

I use it both to make online payments and to collect money from clients.

I've run into a lot of disputes with clients and PayPal never really gave me a way to properly support my side of the case. On top of that, my funds were frozen every single time.

Pros

This online payment service has been really useful for us. We rely on it for website transactions and general online payments and it's simple to use while still feeling secure. It also lets you link multiple bank accounts and credit cards which is very useful.

Cons

The reporting part could be more user-friendly. Sometimes it takes quite a few clicks to find the information you need and the menu options are not always very clear.

Pros

Having this gives us a lot of ways to stay connected with customers, their family and friends and that has been really good for the business.

Cons

I did not like the customer service because sometimes it takes a long time to get help.

There are secure, simple payment options available and they're commonly accepted by a lot of users.

Cons

There are fees involved, accounts can sometimes get frozen and dealing with customer support can be frustrating.

Everything is in one place which makes it really simple to use and I can send money to friends and family without any hassle.

Cons

Every now and then the site goes down and I end up having to wait a day or two before it gets fixed.

Getting it up and running is simple and the option to split purchases into bi-weekly payments makes buying a lot more manageable.

Cons

Where it really falls short is in how it handles disputes. When customers falsely challenge charges after already receiving their orders, PayPal doesn't seem to investigate thoroughly and still sides with the customer every time even when proof is provided.

Pros

Been a really positive experience for me because it's simple to use, offers buyers fairly solid protection against fraud and feels very user-friendly overall.

Cons

Not every website offers it as a payment option. I also had a one-time issue when I wanted to send money to a friend but accidentally selected the seller option instead.

Payments go through quickly and adding the PayPal payment gateway to the website was simple to set up.

Cons

My account was blocked without any clear reason and my funds were held for 180 days even though I submitted everything they requested. We are a legitimate business.

Being able to send and receive money with relatively low fees has been really useful and it's a big plus that it connects with so many other platforms.

If I could change one thing, it would be to bring the fees down even more.

Appreciate using it for both personal and business payments. The money moves in and out of my accounts quickly and both the app and website are simple and user-friendly.

Havent had any problems with it. It has been simple to use, easy to navigate and I would definitely keep using it again.

There really wasn't anything positive about it.

When I ran into a problem, it was incredibly hard to get in touch with anyone. They seem to decide which websites you've visited without providing any proof and even with a long list of complaints showing that a certain company has been taking money without authorization, they still refuse to believe their customers.

It's biggest advantage for me is that it gives us payment alternatives for the products we sell on our website through Wix.

Cons

I don't like that it isn't available as a payment option on the MindBody platform. We've had clients ask for the PayPal option to be offered there as well like it is through Wix.

Getting paid for services or using it to make purchases is incredibly convenient.

Any problems I've run into seem to get addressed before they become bigger issues since PayPal is usually one step ahead with updates.

Would be great if Amazon accepted PayPal as a payment method. That would make online shopping a lot more convenient.

PayPal lets me handle online payments quickly and securely without having to share my card details and it also helps protect me from extra charges.

I haven't run into any problems while using PayPal, if anything, the cashback system is actually a nice bonus because it helps me earn a little money back.
