I have also used PayPal for business and I wasn't happy with the fees deducted from my payments. On top of that, creating invoices could feel frustrating at times and was occasionally glitchy.

I'm an honest person who tries to do the right thing, avoid problems and follow the rules. I don't break the law and I do my best to act responsibly. Even so, PayPal treated me like I had done something wrong or suspicious and ended up shutting down my account. I never kept more than $50 in it and I had only used it a couple of times. That's why it makes me wonder why they focused on me instead of going after people who are actually scamming the company. The small amount of money in my account was earned legally and should not have raised any serious concerns or red flags. But apparently I was wrong. Instead of targeting the big offenders, they seem to go after the small users who were just trying to follow the rules.

In my opinion its easy to operate, it keeps data saved reliably and it works well across a wide range of different settings.

There are quite a few ads and it can be hard to figure out which payment option is the best one to use.

Even when you qualify for the 3 equal payments option, there are times when it still isn't available to use.

Paying for purchases with any type of card is really convenient and my information stays protected. I don't have to share my card details on the websites where I shop.

Some websites still don't accept PayPal. For example, Amazon doesn't let me pay with PayPal.

PayPal has always worked incredibly fast for me, with payments going through in seconds. The free buyer protection for payments between friends is also a big plus and the customer service has been very reliable whenever I needed help.

I honestly don't know of any downsides. I'm always happy to use PayPal and usually choose it first whenever it's available.

Whenever I pay for products through sellers with it, I feel a lot more confident about the whole transaction. My purchases feel protected and I do not have to worry much about scams or packages going missing. If something goes wrong, PayPal handles claims fast and really supports the buyer.

From the seller side, I do wish the fees could be a bit lower even though I understand that probably is not very realistic.
