Cons

I find MedSync and the mobile app useful. However, the 340B setup overestimates the gross margin. It would be great if the software could be customized and made more user-friendly.

Compounding Pharmacy Software
Pros

As a pharmacy owner and user, there are many outstanding aspects of WinPharm. Firstly, the system has been around for a while and is incredibly intuitive to use for receiving, inputting, filling, dispensing and selling prescriptions. Training the staff on how to use the software was incredibly easy. Additionally, we did not have to pay for various integrations such as fax, e-scribing, text messaging, and POS. Everything is included at a competitively exceptional price. We also love the fact that we can immediately talk to a live person for support when needed.

Cons

Honestly, there isn't much to dislike about the software. The interface may look a bit "older," but as an owner and user of the software, there are so many things I like about it.

I am really pleased with the software, the support staff, and the entire company. Their features and updates are top-notch and relatively easy to operate, providing quick and efficient functionality.

Cons

I can't think of any significant drawbacks. Every system has its flaws, bugs, and errors. However, Winpharm is quick to address and rectify any errors in a highly competent manner.

Wish we switched sooner!
Pros

Since switching from our previous software vendor and embracing new methods, I have realized how much faster and easier it is to process prescriptions. Processing prescriptions is now a simple task, freeing up more time for other tasks throughout the day. The POS is user-friendly and the mobile delivery option is very useful. There are numerous functions within the software that we have not even explored yet.

Cons

We implemented the new software about a year before DataScan went through a platform and programming change. We faced some challenges with the integration and communication of the delivery/POS/dispensing systems. However, the customer support was excellent in assisting us in resolving these issues during the transition. Most problems have been resolved, and the system is now functioning smoothly again.

Why Every Pharmacy Should Consider Using Winpharm
Pros

The main reason I like Winpharm is that it offers everything that most leading pharmacy software does at a fraction of the cost. Unlike other companies that charge for adding Long-Term-Care (LTC) capabilities to the system, Winpharm does not!
