clear snippets that keep deals moving

Pros

Showing customers a clear preview of what's available without having to run a full demo has been a big win. It saves time, keeps prospects interested and helps them grasp the value quickly before committing to a longer conversation. It's been especially helpful during early-stage sales discussions.

Cons

There really isn't anything significant that feels like a downside. At most, it could be a little easier to customize content but overall it's been easy to use and fits into the sales process without adding any friction.

professional demo sharing place

Pros

A professional and convenient way to share demos with clients through a single hyperlink. It's also a really useful central place for hosting client-facing videos that the whole team can access and use.

Cons

Setting up a demo board takes quite a few clicks each time. Other than that, there honestly isn't much that comes to mind as a downside.

love the unified customer journey!

Pros

From an admin perspective, setting up users and integrations has been very easy. The new home page and analytics are a big plus too since they give me a quick snapshot of both program and content performance. Overall I really love that the software creates one consistent customer experience from the first demo all the way through renewal whenever we're sharing content.

Cons

There are still a few UI quirks but most of them are being worked out which I genuinely appreciate. Even in a year when they completed acquisitions and expanded partnerships, they still took the time to listen to customers and address some of the more complex navigation issues that had been difficult for users.

Helps close deals

Pros

Has become a really valuable part of my daily outreach in B2B sales. It's extremely helpful for sending prospects informative product videos so they can better understand what we offer before getting on a demo. That alone gives them more context upfront. It also saves me a lot of time during outreach because instead of constantly chasing people with follow-up calls, I can quickly send an email with a Consensus video covering the product or feature we already talked about. Being able to share personalized demos and get notified when someone watches or forwards the email or video is especially useful. That visibility is powerful and makes a real difference when it comes to moving a deal toward the finish line. On top of that, the setup process was very simple.

Cons

Honestly the only area that seems to need improvement is on our organization's side. We could do a better job creating more product content for the team to share with prospects. The library for our AI products still feels somewhat limited and a bit outdated.

Boosts lead engagement

Pros

Having a way to put our product in front of potential customers has been really valuable. The short video demo lets us showcase the features and functionality we offer in a clear way. Prospects can watch it whenever it fits their schedule and they can do that without feeling any pressure from a sales rep. It also helps us respond to new leads quickly and makes sure our follow-up is actually useful and relevant.

Cons

Navigation in the main menu can be a bit confusing. I'd prefer a clearer way to find and create demo boards since that's the feature I use most often.

flexible demos that scale

Pros

Makes it much simpler for AEs to record demo content once and reuse it whenever needed. It cuts down on how many live demos are required during the sales cycle and the ability to create segment-specific content helps customize messaging to the right teams and stakeholders much more effectively.

Cons

Reporting side could definitely be stronger. Also, the discovery demo feature would be more useful if it allowed multiple videos to be linked to a single question.

Smart insights

Pros

Incredibly user friendly for both me and my customers! It helps me connect with prospects in a much more meaningful, on-demand way without all the back-and-forth that comes with scheduling live demos. Another big plus is the real-time insight it gives into how customers are engaging with my content which helps me understand exactly who to follow up with and the best time to do it.

Cons

I honestly do not have anything negative to say. If I had to mention one small challenge, it would be that my uploads are capped at 2 hours but that seems to be a company setting rather than an issue with software itself.

Saves time

Pros

Sharing personalized product demos has been a big time-saver especially when prospects need to bring extra stakeholders into the process between the discovery call and the formal demo. The engagement analytics are also genuinely helpful since they show exactly who watched each demo, what they viewed and how long they spent on it which gives our team useful signals for prioritizing follow-up conversations.

Cons

The content management side can become disorganized pretty quickly unless you put a well-structured library in place and keep it properly maintained.

personalized demos

Pros

Working in sales, I need to answer demo requests quickly and scheduling delays can really slow that down. It lets me send personalized, action-oriented content in just a few clicks which helps keep things moving.

Cons

At times, locating the specific videos I need can be a bit challenging but overall I still enjoy using the tool a lot.

simple demo sharing

Pros

Viewing and sharing demos is very easy and customers seem to really appreciate how quickly they can watch the videos and pass them along to others.

Cons

It would be more useful if there were shareable materials beyond just videos, like documents, reading collateral or other supporting content.

Appreciate the gmail integration

Pros

Being able to work right inside Gmail is one of my favorite parts. I can drop a Consensus demo directly into an email without needing to switch over to the website which saves time and keeps everything moving. There's also a lot of customization available and that really helps when I'm sending similar demo boards repeatedly while still customizeing them to each recipient.

Cons

Every now and then, the Gmail connection doesn't stay active so having to reconnect can be a bit annoying. Setting up your own personal demo also takes some getting used to at the beginning but after doing it once, the process becomes much more manageable.

excellent app integrations

Pros

The way it connects with other apps really helps my workflow and makes everything much simpler when moving between different apps, websites and tools.

Cons

A downside is that a lot of contact records don't have accurate information and some phone numbers are missing even when they're easy to find on Google.

useful tracking and playlists

Pros

The detailed tracking on published video views is really helpful and being able to build collections or playlists for the audience is a nice feature :)

Cons

Publishing ad-hoc videos can be a bit frustrating because the interface and overall workflow aren't as accessible as I'd want them to be.

effective demo tracking

Pros

Getting demo videos out to prospects with this solution has been really easy and the viewing analytics are incredibly useful. I can see who watched, how many times they viewed and other helpful engagement details. It's been a very valuable tool to use.

Cons

At this point, I haven't run into anything I dislike about it. I'm just looking forward to learning more about everything it can do as I continue using it.

powerful analytics for complex deals

Pros

Consensus really stands out when it comes to analytics and uncovering stakeholders in enterprise deals. We sell to a niche buyer with a complicated buying group and it helps us get a clearer picture of what each person is thinking throughout the process.

Cons

One thing I'd still love to see is more flexibility in how the analytics can be viewed. A dashboard-style option would make it much simpler to report results to executive leadership.

helpful demo tracking insights

Pros

I really appreciate knowing exactly when a demo gets watched or forwarded. That makes it much easier to time my calls and follow-ups well and it also gives me a better sense of whether a deal is still worth pursuing.

Cons

The playback feature for users is the part I'm less happy with. It feels a bit time-consuming and seems to change quite often but with some adjustments it would be perfectly fine.

Helps track prospects

Pros

One thing that really works well is how simple it is to drop personalized demo experiences directly into email replies. It's also really useful being able to track how prospects respond to the parts that matter most to them.

Cons

Setting up a demoboard can sometimes take more clicks than I'd prefer and it would be even better to get notifications about specific areas of interest without needing to log in and check manually.

powerful engagement tracking

Pros

Seeing exactly which customers viewed the demo and getting detailed analytics on how they interacted with it, is very useful! It does a really good job of helping keep tabs on customer engagement throughout the process.

Cons

Only challenge is finding the right balance between how much data you want to track and the time it takes to create a demo link. In an ideal setup, I'd love for a demo link to generate automatically just by entering the SFDC opportunity into Consensus.

video emails that boost outreach

Pros

Adding thumbnail videos directly into customer emails makes the platform very simple to use and being able to track when a prospect has watched the video is a really valuable feature.

Cons

The analytics could be a bit more detailed and more accessible to navigate and the feedback viewing area on the platform could use a better visual design.
