These days, it's a really convenient way to make sure documents get signed electronically without any hassle.

Cons

I honestly can't think of any downsides to this software.

Pros

Sending documents to prospective clients is incredibly simple and getting the correct signatures in place is just as simple. Everyone included on the proposal stays informed throughout the process and each recipient gets a copy of the signed document. It's especially useful for keeping track of documents from start to finish.

Cons

It could look a bit more polished and visually appealing from the client's side. There have also been occasions when the initial email asking the client to sign the document ended up in their spam folder.

Pros

Getting documents signed is very simple with It. The setup is simple, the day-to-day use is simple and people do not need much technical knowledge once the workflows are configured correctly. The audit features also make it clear who completed each step and when which matters a lot for compliance, legal and risk management. It also removes the hassle of needing one or several people to physically sign paperwork so it is extremely practical.

Cons

Things can become more difficult when the process flows are more complex. We ran into a few workflows that were not an ideal fit for It and they were harder to configure and test than expected. If your organization relies on very complicated process flows, you may need to consider a more enterprise-focused option or reach out to support for assistance.

Pros

It lets the entire process be handled smoothly in the cloud which gets rid of paper hassles and all the waiting around. It really feels like the final step that completes the loan process. Sending documents out to every signer right away is incredibly convenient and my clients appreciate how efficient the whole experience is. Even the customers who are usually very hesitant with technology find it quick and simple to use. Absolutely love it.

Cons

The pricing is not very transparent. The limits on how many envelopes you can send are not clearly shown on the pricing page and are instead hidden in small print through a link at the bottom of the page.

I relied on It for a few years while working in real estate and it was part of my regular workflow before I eventually moved over to Dotloop.

Biggest downside was how disorganized document handling and storage felt which made it harder to keep everything structured.

Getting started felt very simple and the system was simple to use from the beginning. I was happy with it when I first started using it.

One thing that bothered me was clicking next and having the page refresh which would sometimes jump to a single question or reset all of the questions.

Signing documents with this software is very simple for clients. It also keeps them informed by sending a notification once the document is completed and provides a copy of the contract right away. Also, the notes section is really helpful because it lets clients see any extra comments the contractor wants them to know about.

Cons

Using it alongside third-party vendors felt less convenient than it should have been. I also wish the software offered a wider range of template options.

honestly I haven't run into any downsides. It consistently works well, I haven't had problems with anyone using it and the system has been free of issues.

It's incredibly simple to use. You can just drag and drop list names and email addresses, then point and click to set up exactly what you need the e-signer to do. I honestly haven't used another platform that feels this user-friendly and self-explanatory.

Having a mobile way to finalize highly important and even confidential legal documents is something I really appreciate. It works well for collecting signatures not only from multiple industry companies but also from government agencies and large corporate businesses which makes it feel dependable for serious use cases.

The login feature does have a small hiccup though it seems pretty minor and likely something that can be fixed quickly enough.

Whether I'm uploading my own personal documents, using templates I found online or receiving contracts through It, the whole process feels effortless and very user friendly. No matter which way I use the software, everything works out smoothly.

I feel like it is awesome for a number of reasons. The reminders are customizable. We work with students and its easy to pester them until we get our signature! It was the most affordable option for accruing official signatures (Trust me I LOOKED AROUND!) It is easy to so send around get signatures quickly! I highly recommend the use of templates. This has made it SO easy to upload a document and automatically have the signature lines in the places that we need. Then it is easy to just hit send and have it sent to whoever needs to sign. Its also easy to integrate with google drive saves copies automatically which is SO nice!

Cons

We have had some issues with the templates. For some reason the software is very picky on the format of the dates. We keep getting a weird glitch that only allows 7 spaces in a signature (which is only an issue in double digit months and days). Luckily for us we can just tell our signees to put in a 1 for the day. Customer service wasnt able to find a solution for it either.

Having to manually place the date fields and signature spots can feel a little tedious. It would be better to have an option to choose which pages need them so the system could add them automatically.

Whether my clients are local or overseas, they can sign documents securely through It. It keeps all the forms I regularly use saved and they fill in automatically with the right details depending on what I need. It's also simple enough that even older coworkers and customers who aren't comfortable with technology can handle it without help.

It really only shines when it comes to collecting signatures and documents. Beyond that, it's pretty limited. If you need something that also handles workflows, tracks your pipeline and helps manage the business in one system, there are stronger options available.

Between quarantines and ongoing sick days, It has made it possible for organizations to keep business moving without much disruption. It lets users securely send and sign documents from virtually anywhere at any time, all without needing paper or ink.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is stronger user verification beyond just email. Adding another layer of identification would help reduce security concerns especially when handling more sensitive documents.

Being able to handle documents while I'm at home or using my phone is a huge plus. I can get things completed on the go without dealing with attachments, scanning or printing. It really makes doing business much more convenient and simple.

While DocuSign offers unparalleled convenience for remote signing, if you're someone with high-security needs you should supplement it with out-of-band identity verification, as the platform's core email-based authentication may not suffice for all legal contexts
