Features and reporting

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how many features are available and they can be tailored to fit not just Sales but also Operations, Finance and Accounting. It also connects well with a wide range of other systems, including project management and accounting tools. On top of that, the reporting capabilities are very strong and give a lot of useful insight.

Cons

A few areas could still be improved. It would help to have more audit trail options and reports that show records as they existed at specific points in time instead of only live, real-time data. The system can also feel heavy and take longer to load if the internet connection is not strong. On top of that, pricing can get expensive especially when adding more users and extra modules.

Quick customer info access

Pros

Using this platform feels very easy and it keeps customer information well organized. It's also very efficient because customer details can be pulled up in just a few clicks.

Cons

It tends to slow down when several tabs are open and at times that can interrupt a call.

Holistic business insights

Pros

Bringing everything into one place has been a big improvement. Data that used to live across different platforms and software is now congreatated here which gives a much more complete view of the business. It also makes it possible to combine information from different sources for deeper and more useful business analysis.

Cons

Getting fully transitioned took quite a while. I understand it was a major shift for our organization but I still would have preferred the integration to happen more quickly and be completed sooner.

Clean layout and strong reporting

Pros

Layout is well designed, the on-screen spacing feels right and the reporting features work really well.

Cons

Retiring SKUs is a hassle and the 2019 to 2020 upgrade process was frustrating to deal with.

Flexible options for growth

Pros

It provides a wide range of customizable options and even for a smaller business, it delivers strong value by helping support growth.

Cons

The pricing structure is fairly complicated and it is not always clear what is included in the package you purchase which can make things a little confusing.

CRM automation hub

Pros

Having this platform has been a real advantage for our organization. It helped us uncover things we had missed for years before and now there's barely any manual effort involved because we've set up so many automation triggers.

Cons

At this point, our organization probably couldn't operate at the speed we do without it. We've built so many automated processes and workflows that have saved us a huge amount of time. We use this platform across 15 departments and it just keeps expanding. Every time someone sees the value of this CRM, they end up asking for user licenses because it's that good. We especially rely on the contact management, lead-to-opportunity tracking and most of all the reports and dashboards.

great for tracking

Pros

The CRM portal and tracking features have been really useful and the mobile app is a nice bonus that I've enjoyed using.

Cons

Getting used to the platform takes time because the learning curve is pretty steep and customer support hasn't been all that helpful.

Fantastic fit for real estate

Pros

Working as a Realtor in Nevada, I used this software through the company I was with and came away really impressed. When I later returned to my company in California and they started searching for a system to use, I recommended this one right away. They had been considering another provider that I personally didn't care for nearly as much. In the end, they signed up with this software and that was more than six years ago. As far as I know, they're still using it today.

Cons

At the beginning, there were a few issues when we first started using the software but over time it turned out to be very helpful especially for the service division.

CRM with standout automation

Pros

Compared with other CRM tools out there, this one still feels like the best option on the market and every new release keeps adding useful features. Our company's process used to move much slower but now things happen much faster because of the automation it offers and most tasks are done in just a few clicks. It also comes with several practical features for email campaigns, reporting and analytics which makes the platform even more valuable overall.

Cons

Pricing is definitely on the higher side and some extra add-ons are needed for Sales Cloud especially the Marketing Cloud add-on which is also quite expensive. Since Marketing Cloud is pretty important for Sales Cloud when it comes to tracking email campaigns and lead conversion data, the added cost can be hard to justify.

Marketing lifesaver with great support

Pros

Back in college, I had to learn this CRM for my marketing classes since there really wasn't another option and that ended up helping me a lot later. Once I started working in marketing, it honestly became a lifesaver. I used it to manage my marketing teams, clients, calendars, leads, sales team and accounts. Being able to separate different projects into different accounts was especially important and really useful. One of the best parts for me was the customer service. Their support is very thorough, they're always available to answer questions and the live chat is incredibly helpful. They also offer tutorials on their website so you're not left feeling frustrated or stuck.

Cons

Like most CRMs, it takes a lot of training, plus some trial and error, before you really learn how to use it properly if you're not already familiar with it. Luckily, I had been exposed to it in school and could also rely on plenty of YouTube tutorials. You also have to set it up the way you want which can be a benefit but it does require extra effort. On the admin side, things can get a bit complicated when you're managing a large group. And on top of that, the price is definitely high.

Highly customizable and reliable

Pros

One of the best things about it is how customizable it is. With an experienced admin and a developer on hand, you can build a highly tailored system that fits your needs extremely well.

Cons

The newer version's UI is really disappointing. I'm surprised they keep pushing users toward it because reporting feels slow, pages don't load properly and navigation is much harder. From an admin perspective, creating reports and dashboards in new version takes me at least three times longer than it did in Classic.

Handy cases and built-in email

Pros

Handling cases and sending emails feels very easy and both features are built right into the application which makes everything work nicely together.

Cons

Every time new objects or fields are created, they also have to be added to page layouts, reports and user access permissions which ends up taking quite a bit of time.

ERP integration wins

Pros

One of the biggest benefits has been how directly it connects with ERP systems, NetSuite in our case, and sends new customers into a much more aligned onboarding flow as soon as they hit "closed/won." We were also able to build some really powerful pipeline reporting dashboards from the data flowing through the system. That ended up making things a lot simpler for both the FP&A and Accounting teams.

Cons

Because it's so heavily customizable, the platform is really only as effective as the way the team sets it up. Some of the reporting and key company profile configurations can get pretty complex and in my view it often takes an experienced consultant to fully optimize everything. That seems to be the tradeoff that comes with using such a powerful tool.

Customizable CRM with rich features

Pros

Right away, the interface stands out for being attractive and highly customizable, whether you're running a small company or a larger business. It comes with a wide range of features that are manageable to work with especially the contact management and lead management tools. Since it's cloud-based, the CRM also stays reliable and runs consistently well.

Cons

Getting started can feel a bit challenging if you're not already familiar with CRM software, mainly because there are so many features to take in at first. Once you learn how the system works, it becomes very capable and easy to use but it does take some time to adjust to everything.

CRM across teams

Pros

Our organization simply wouldn't be able to move as fast as it does without this platform. We've built out a large number of automation processes and workflows and they've saved us a huge amount of time. It's being used across 15 departments here and adoption keeps expanding. Once people see the value this CRM brings, they start asking for user licenses right away because it really is that useful. The Contact Management, Lead-to-Opportunity tracking and especially the Reports and Dashboards are the features we rely on most.

Cons

The biggest downside is the cost especially as usage grows across an organization so pricing would be my main concern. That said, they do offer a Non-Profit Starter Pack which I'd definitely suggest smaller non-profit organizations check out.

Packed with useful features

Pros

Right from the start, it felt like it had everything I needed. There are tons of features yet it still runs without freezing or lagging. One of the best things is how responsive the team is, they keep rolling out new features regularly and they're actually simple to use.

Cons

Honestly, none. I was going to point out the mobile app but after trying it, that concern disappeared because everything worked really well.

Lead flow and reporting hub

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is how well it handles lead flow management especially the ability to rank lead sources from highest to lowest so the team can work more efficiently. It also connects easily with key tools like Gmail and TalkDesk which really helps speed up contact with sales prospects. On top of that, the report builder is very detailed and covers everything we need.

Cons

Interface could still be simplified a little more especially when moving from page to page or jumping between reports so navigation feels more easy.

Adaptable CRM solution

Pros

Our company relies on it as the CRM platform that keeps every part of the business organized, connected and current. That's something we really appreciate about it.

Cons

It works really well but because it's so customizable, setting up the exact functions you want can be a little confusing at times. Thankfully, there's plenty of support available when that happens.

All-in-one software

Pros

Having everything in one place has been a big plus. It covered all the CRM functions our company already uses and also introduced features I didn't even realize we were missing. Since it's more advanced than some competing platforms, getting around the system can take some effort but their customer support team has been outstanding and always answers questions quickly and efficiently. Another big advantage is how well Salesforce works with other tools since it integrated easily with our existing program.

Cons

This really isn't a beginner-friendly platform unless you have the time and commitment to learn how to use it properly and get the most out of it. I wouldn't call it especially simple and the pricing is definitely on the higher side. When I was first getting familiar with the software, it also wasn't very clear which additional features were actually included in the package. There's definitely some figuring out and workarounds involved.

All-in-one sales platform

Pros

Almost anything you need can be done with this platform. It connects with sales software, includes tracking tools, lets you create opportunities to monitor the sales pipeline and even supports taking payments.

Cons

If you're new to this kind of software, it can feel pretty complicated. It's not the kind of CRM you pick when you want something basic or simple since it's really built for mid-sized companies up to large enterprises that need all those features.
