“Professional newsletters and tracking”
Pros
Marketing Cloud has been my go-to for sending newsletters and I've been really happy with it. The emails come out looking very professional and building them is fairly easy. The tracking is excellent as well and there are plenty of options to help you set things up in a way that fits how you like to work.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is the ability to hide features I never use. There are quite a few functions I don't need so being able to remove or tuck those away would make the interface feel more tailored.

“Highly customizable and reliable”
Pros
This CRM offers a wide range of features and customization options that can feel almost limitless. Once everything is configured the right way, it performs really well.
Cons
There's definitely a pretty steep learning curve especially for anyone who isn't already familiar with using a CRM.

“Connected programs that work”
Pros
A big plus is having multiple programs that connect together which makes tracking activity much more manageable. It also helps a lot with things like automated lead and contact creation, along with similar tasks.
Cons
Customization side feels very outdated and way more complicated than it should be. Building lists is frustrating and searching through things isn't as easy as it needs to be.

“Customization for everything”
Pros
At this point, saying our business depends on it would barely cover it. We rely on it to monitor every step of our business cycle and the level of customization it provides is a huge part of why it works so well for us.
Cons
One thing to keep in mind is that if you are not familiar with the finer details of its customization options, you will probably need to bring in an experienced professional to set up your instance properly and tailor it to your specific needs.

“Versatile CRM with customization”
Pros
Being cloud-based makes it available anytime with no downtime which is a huge advantage. The whole platform is packaged really well and setting up a CRM from scratch can be done in less than a week. It covers pretty much every CRM use case with the range of products and features available. Integrating it with other IT platforms like Marketing Cloud is very easy. The customization options are also excellent since almost everything can be adapted to match the organization's specific needs.
Cons
IT support could definitely be better. Quite often, the support agents don't seem to have the right knowledge to properly handle the issue and resolution times can range anywhere from 2 hours to 72 hours. On top of that, the frequent updates and the steep learning curve can be challenging.

“Excellent visibility for sales teams”
Pros
It's become essential for tracking emails and keeping email management organized. It's also incredibly important for handling quotes and pricing. On top of that, it helps a lot with workforce coordination since anyone with access can see ongoing sales activity.
Cons
One downside is that it really pushes you to use the full set of applications they offer even when some of them aren't especially useful at that particular time.

“Strong boost for sales”
Pros
This has been a real driver for my sales. It's a really great tool that has done a lot to improve my sales pipeline and I'd definitely recommend it to others.
Cons
I'd really like better integration with Excel since I'm used to working that way. Connecting the two would have made the transition much more helpful for me.

“Quick team adoption”
Pros
Its simplicity really stood out. I was using the software as part of a team and it didn't take long at all to get comfortable working with it.
Cons
From what I understood, the pricing was very high. For growing businesses, that kind of cost could end up being a real setback.

“Familiar and user-friendly”
Pros
Having used it at the last three organizations I worked for, I was able to jump right back in without much of a learning curve. The new version's experience is simple and user-friendly which makes day-to-day work easy.
Cons
It's likely priced higher than some competing options. I've also noticed that when I have several tabs open, it can slow down quite a bit and drag on my workflow.

“Features and control”
Pros
This product handles just about everything, almost to the point of being too much. One thing I really appreciated was being able to control who could see what, plus having a timer for when leads could be released and captured.
Cons
That same all-in-one functionality was also a downside. For someone new to the platform, there was a lot to take in and learn at first.

Pros
There are a lot of useful filter options available when printing reports which makes the reporting side very practical.

Getting everything set up at the beginning was really challenging. We were advised to go with a third-party vendor but that ended up creating even more obstacles.

“Fast order tracking and updates”
Pros
This program plays a big role in how we handle orders and keep our customer database up to date. It also sends data over to a separate shipping platform which helps complete the full order workflow. The order and customer management tools are especially useful when quick updates need to be made. On the customer service side, being able to review and edit profile details like password resets, address changes and loyalty program information is really valuable. From the order side, it gives us better visibility into how an order was submitted, what discounts were applied and other details which makes it much easier to troubleshoot order or system problems and respond faster.
Cons
Interface is very good overall but the search feature can be a little finicky at times. It is not really boolean-based so if you are not sure exactly what you are trying to find, tracking it down can be difficult. Luckily, we work with several other systems that can provide the key details when a wider search is necessary. Even so, SF does offer a strong number of search parameters so this issue rarely has any real impact on performance.

“All-in-one cost savings”
Pros
Considering the price, it delivers a lot. It works across all kinds of channels, functions and business needs which has been a huge advantage for us. We first adopted it as an internal social network, then started using it for reporting, communication through chat and email and later for phone and social media as well. Over time, more and more of our operations have been congreatated into this single platform and that has helped us cut costs by reducing the number of licenses we need for other applications.
Cons
Because it includes so many features and capabilities, the implementation process is extremely complex. We have been working with it for two years and still do not have a fully completed rollout, partly because update patches keep coming out constantly. That said, I do not think this is entirely the application's fault and it seems more related to the way our organization's implementation team has been handling the deployment.

“Up-to-date team forecasting”
Pros
Keeping it updated is easy and it's always current whenever I'm reviewing my team forecast.

“Deep reporting and responsive support”
Pros
One thing that really works well here is the reporting. I'm able to collaborate with higher-level users to make very detailed custom tweaks to existing reports which adds a lot of value. The system collects a large amount of data so there's plenty to work with when building reports. Attaching documents, assigning tasks, tracking ledger entries against matching invoices and managing contacts all perform better than average. The Chatter feature is also very helpful for fast communication with employees and colleagues across the company. On top of that, customer service has been excellent and very responsive.
Cons
There are still a few frustrating areas. Some links have issues and the system is not as simple as I would expect. You can get to the information you need from one record to another or through a hierarchy but it really helps to already know the best path to take. The data exists but locating it can be difficult if you don't have much experience with the platform. Entering demographic information also takes a long time. If you want complete data, you have to put in a lot of effort to enter everything. Making bulk contact updates also feels nearly impossible especially in industries where turnover happens frequently.

“overcomplicated UI and heavy setup”
Pros
It's tough to point to many strengths here. Compared with how widely available and modern CRM platforms have become, this one feels behind the curve and not really built around the needs of today's revenue teams.
Cons
This software feels overcomplicated and the interface is pretty awful to work with. There's also far too much documentation to dig through so getting everything set up usually ends up needing a specialist.

“CRM for tech teams”
Pros
Among CRMs, this is easily the strongest option I've seen especially for technology-focused products. It's easy enough to work with, highly capable and can be tailored to do just about anything if you're willing to invest the right amount into development. When it's set up and used properly, it becomes an incredibly powerful tool.
Cons
Feature I'm least happy with is how everything seems to come at an extra cost. Most add-ons are fairly expensive and even proper support requires additional payment. Even with that, the advantages still outweigh the downsides by a wide margin.

“powerful integrations and analytics”
Pros
When it comes to overall powerfulness, features and integrations, this platform still hasn't fallen behind in my view. I've watched it connect with countless other apps without any trouble. On my side, I don't really use it for sales but more for data collection and analytics. Honestly, that only taps into a small part of what it can do but then again, I'm not a sales person ,)
Cons
It's definitely a behemoth and can feel tough to work with. I also really dislike the UI.

“Reliable and highly customizable”
Pros
The user interface feels simple, the platform runs reliably and the customization options are a real plus. Since it's a standard product used by many firms, getting comfortable with it doesn't take much effort.
Cons
Workflow management is still lacking and the reporting dashboard feels underdeveloped. There also hasn't been much improvement over the years so you may end up needing additional software to fill the gaps.
