“Highly customizable workflows”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is how flexible this tool is. You can tailor pretty much the entire platform to fit the way you work day to day which makes it adapt well to different workflows.
Cons
Getting started isn't very easy though and there's definitely a steep learning curve before it begins to feel natural. Support also leaves room for improvement since responses can be slow and they don't always ask the most helpful questions sometimes even repeating the same ones.

“Business backbone that scales”
Pros
One of the best parts is how much you can tailor it. It works like a database that can be structured however the business needs making it useful for tracking all kinds of company data. It's also widely used so there are plenty of integration choices available to support not only sales but virtually every workflow across the organization.
Cons
Getting it to work the right way does take previous experience with the platform. Success also depends a lot on having strong leadership and a team that's open to change. It's possible to learn but if the learning process isn't taken seriously, it can end up being quite costly.

“Helpful student tracking”
Pros
Getting into the system was convenient and it let me enter important information for every student attending the college. I could keep up with attendance and grades, communicate with professors and arrange meetings when needed.
Cons
A lot of time went into training co-workers and it would have been much better if the system included a built-in step-by-step manual so others could learn the process on their own.

“Marketing Cloud links but heavy upkeep”
Pros
Its strongest points are how well it connects with Marketing Cloud and the reporting features it offers.
Cons
Keeping this CRM running takes a very large team for development, customization and ongoing administration. Learning it is a hassle, it demands a lot from admins and integrating it with other tools is extremely difficult, including with its own partners. The separate data objects are hard to tie together and the many different ways data can be stored usually create problems for organizations instead of helping them. I honestly haven't seen an organization using SF that doesn't struggle with data integrity and data hygiene.

“CRM with rich automation”
Pros
Right from the start, this on-demand SaaS CRM platform feels very capable and brings some genuinely unique functionality across different CRM areas. It gives enterprise users a lot of control to customize workflows, automate tasks, track events and set up analytics and alerts based on their needs. It also does a great job supporting customer collaboration, communication and issue resolution across both sales and service. From an enterprise standpoint, it definitely helps improve productivity.
Cons
One thing that can be frustrating is the pricing model since it's fairly complex and not always easy to understand. A few features also come with limitations especially things like web-to-lead forms and API calls. Companies may also be caught off guard by the daily email cap of 1000 messages which only gets resolved by moving to a higher plan. Depending on usage, the platform can feel a bit expensive and smaller businesses in particular may see the cost as hard to justify.

“Innovation for growing teams”
Pros
It has really set the pace for innovation and technology in this space. At this point, it goes far beyond being just a CRM and has become a core platform you can run your business on. The integrations with third-party software are a huge advantage and they also do a strong job of staying ahead of business trends. Because of that, it feels very clear that their market presence will keep expanding over time.
Cons
I don't have any issues with the software itself. The harder part is dealing with the company since sales reps tend to change often and different levels of reps handle different products which can make things confusing. If you're not on premier support, getting help directly from them can be a little frustrating though their online community often helps fill that gap.

“Better lead conversion and integrations”
Pros
One thing that really helps with this tool is how well it captures leads and turns them into contacts which has definitely helped improve conversion rates and ROI. Another big plus is the flexibility it offers when connecting with third-party apps so it works well with other tools in the stack.
Cons
Getting to small pieces of information often takes too much digging and I wish the dashboard had separate panels that showed current data right away. Also while the integration options are flexible, setting them up takes a decent amount of technical knowledge which can be challenging at times.

“Best-in-class CRM flexibility”
Pros
After working with a lot of CRMs, this one still stands out as the best to me because of how many ways it can be tailored to fit specific business needs. The documentation and training materials are approachable as long as you're willing to spend time using the resources they provide. On top of that, their customer support is some of the strongest I've dealt with at the enterprise level.
Cons
The biggest thing is understanding your use case upfront and making sure you're taking full advantage of the platform's native capabilities before jumping into heavy customization through configuration or code. Certain needs just aren't covered out of the box and in those situations it makes more sense to rely on one of the many partner tools or integrated solutions that work well with the platform.

“easy to use”
Pros
Packed with functionality, this is the tool I'd recommend if you need a cloud database. It lets you keep contacts and notes in one place, send emails, connect just about everything and tailor almost every part of it to fit how you work. There's a lot it can handle which makes it really capable overall.
Cons
At the same time, the number of options can be overwhelming. It does so much that it can start to feel like too much. Some of that comes down to how each organization sets up and customizes the CRM but often the people deciding what they want the system to do aren't looking at it from the user's perspective and assume adding more is always better. It really isn't.

“Customization and control”
Pros
There's a lot of room to customize and it gives you plenty of capability for sorting, exporting, tracking and connecting everything you need.

That level of functionality can also make it harder to find your way around and it takes a fair amount of training to use confidently.

“Does everything you need”
Pros
Coming from an old-school sales background and using it since the early 2000s, I've never been completely sold on it because it clearly wasn't built by salespeople or really for salespeople. That said, Salesforce has built an entire ecosystem around itself. Its biggest strength is that you can manage the full lifecycle, from prospecting all the way through to existing customers. It may not do any one thing exceptionally well but it does cover just about everything.
Cons
You can tell the platform wasn't created with sales teams as the priority. Salespeople usually focus on deal stage and the next action and the standard out-of-the-box version doesn't handle that particularly well. You can absolutely invest in customization to make it fit better but the default setup feels limited.

“Custom setup for complex data”
Pros
In a marketing role at a data company, I appreciate how powerful and customizable this platform is. We get very scientific with anything related to data and it handles that level of complexity really well.
Cons
At times, it's almost too powerful which can make it unclear what is and isn't possible. It performs very well for data handling, manipulation and integrations but there's still room to expand and add more functionality.

“Task organization and reporting”
Pros
There are endless ways to organize daily tasks and keep up with customer requests. Another clear advantage is the reporting section which is simple to create, edit, filter and arrange. If you enjoy working with data, it really feels like paradise.
Cons
Handling several tasks at once is not always convenient especially when trying to manage a phone call while also chatting. It can also get a little frustrating when working through a task list since you have to open a task, edit it and then go back to the list every single time. It feels like a lot of those extra steps could be removed if everything stayed on the same page.

“Complete student database”
Pros
While working in the Admissions and Enrollment Services department at a school, I relied on it heavily. It became our primary database for prospective students and the best part was how complete the software felt, with so many genuinely useful features. Having everything stored in one place made a huge difference and got rid of the piles of Excel spreadsheets we used to depend on before.
Cons
The biggest downside is that it takes a while to understand how everything works. Because the platform is so powerful, it is not something you learn instantly but the time spent getting used to it absolutely pays off. It also requires some patience when your team is accustomed to a different way of storing and managing client, user or student data yet once it clicks, it is highly efficient and you end up wondering how you ever worked without it.

“Useful campaign tools”
Pros
Putting campaigns together on this platform is quite simple and being able to organize campaigns and contacts by industry is genuinely helpful. The option to log calls and send emails while on the move works really well too. Their support team is also fairly reliable and they do a good job of notifying users well ahead of scheduled updates and maintenance.
Cons
Training materials are somewhat complicated and take real effort to work through. Pulling the right report also depends on using the correct filters which can make the software feel challenging for beginners. On top of that, the pricing seems a bit high for the level of service provided.

“Deep reporting and visibility”
Pros
This is a very powerful platform and that complexity is exactly what makes it so valuable for deep reporting and analysis, whether for a company or an individual user. It handles everyday activity tracking well too, with calls, emails, accounts and similar records being simple to log. Custom reports are also easy to build and as a sales rep it gives clear visibility into where you stand against quota and how the rest of the team is performing.
Cons
After using it at several different companies, one thing I've noticed is that the setup can vary a lot from one organization to another. That's not necessarily a downside but it does mean a company should make sure it has the right resources in place to implement it properly and scale it effectively across teams when comparing CRM options.

“Strong CRM for sales tracking”
Pros
After using this solution for two years, I can definitely recommend it. It's easy to get started with and it does a good job of supporting sales work through contact records and customer files. The opportunity management side is also a real advantage when it comes to forecasting future business.
Cons
Two drawbacks stand out. First, the deployment cost is still very high and the entry price clearly makes it more suitable for large companies. Second, its automatic synchronization with the Outlook environment is hard to match but Outlook is not the default setup in every company.

“Popular reporting tool”
Pros
These days it feels like the go-to database not just in the private sector but in the nonprofit world too which is where I use it. Pulling reports and handling basic data visualization is incredibly easy and there's a huge range of compatible apps you can connect with it.
Cons
Because it's such a modular product which can be a benefit in many cases, things can also get out of hand quickly if it isn't managed well. If you don't have someone in-house who really knows the system, you should also be prepared to spend quite a bit on consultants whenever changes need to be made.

“Sales tracking platform”
Pros
From tracking customer insights to organizing complex sales data, this is a fantastic platform that keeps expanding in useful ways. It helps sales teams better qualify leads, stay on top of opportunities and clearly identify the channels where revenue is coming from. The collaboration features work really well, whether the team is small or large and the contact management is effective for both internal stakeholders and external customers. Another big advantage is how customizable it is since it can be configured to match an organization's goals and expectations. It also offers a lot of flexibility when it comes to APIs and integrations with other popular business tools. Overall, it handles a wide range of important tasks that help businesses keep moving forward.
Cons
One of the biggest downsides comes up for smaller businesses. The per-user cost is usually quite high and because the platform is so complex, many smaller organizations may not have the budget to support a dedicated power user. It is a very expansive application and getting the most out of it requires significant onboarding and training to truly learn the system. Because of that, it feels like a much better fit for large operations while smaller businesses should be cautious about the overall cost and resource commitment.

“Integrations for modern teams”
Pros
It's a very capable platform and connects really well with many of the other tools you need to be successful in a modern marketing and sales role.
Cons
