“All account details in one place”
Pros
Having everything related to the accounts I work on gathered in one place is really helpful. There are also tons of different fields available so I can add a lot of useful information when needed.
Cons
There still seems to be quite a bit of manual work involved though. Copying and pasting every single case note gets very tedious and I'm not sure whether that's something the platform could improve or if it's just how my company has it configured.

“Integrations and simple workflow”
Pros
Compared with other CRM platforms I've used, this one was much quicker to pick up and far more simple day to day. It also supports what feels like an endless number of integrations which matters a lot when you need all of your software to communicate properly. On that front, SF really delivers.
Cons
Because it was originally built quite a while ago, the interface doesn't always feel as user-friendly as newer tools. Pages can also be a bit slow to load especially when you're working with a large amount of data. That said, I've heard the newer version is a noticeable improvement.

“Tracking from start to finish”
Pros
From marketing's very first touch all the way through customer success, this gives us a full view of every interaction. The amount of detail available right out of the box, plus a few small customizations, helps our team stay highly data-driven and run our sales and marketing efforts really efficiently.
Cons
Setting everything up and getting it fully operational does take time and some experience.

“Flexible shift controls”
Pros
Being able to add or drop shifts quickly is really convenient and I also appreciate having the option to adjust the visibility and format of my shifts.
Cons
It runs into technical issues pretty often and sometimes the shift details do not display properly.

“Collaboration and integrations”
Pros
Connecting it with lead generation tools and other platforms has been really easy. The customization options are strong and working with other people across the company is very convenient thanks to Chatter and note tagging.
Cons
There's a huge amount of information packed into it so page loads can feel pretty awkward. It works really well on fast Wi-Fi but in our office or at coffee shops, each screen can take a long time to load and even logging calls or noting meetings feels slow because every action needs time to refresh. Another frustration is that the web app does not save note drafts. I've lost long notes, stories and inquiries after the page crashed and had to rewrite everything.

“Helpful for sales tracking”
Pros
It works really well for both the sales team and management. It's a great way to stay on top of client communication and it also helps managers keep track of the team while they're out in the field.
Cons
I'd still like to see social media attachments handled in a more convenient way.

“Flexible email builder for teams”
Pros
The email builder is very user-friendly which makes creating campaigns pretty easy. It feels a lot like MailChimp so it's familiar to work with. I also appreciate being able to send emails to people in different markets and assign different preferences to each one. Another big plus is how customizable it is for different companies so your interface can be set up in a way that fits your needs and look completely different from what another company uses.
Cons
At times, the software can be a bit glitchy and that part still needs some improvement. That said, it does seem like an evolving product and they're consistently making updates and improving it.

“Versatile access and integrations”
Pros
After using it for two years, the thing I appreciate most is how much I can do with it. I can access the software online from anywhere, whether I'm at the office or at home. It also offers several different interfaces which is really helpful for people who handle more than one role at work. On top of that, it integrates with many other apps. I'm able to make calls through my soft dialer and manage online chats from our website all within it. Honestly, it really couldn't be much better.
Cons
Only thing I like least is that I can't click back to return to the previous page.

“Forecasting boosts sales”
Pros
Weekly forecasting and in-depth reports have really helped us make better decisions and over time that has improved the productivity of the sales team.
Cons
There's definitely a steep learning curve since the platform includes so many features so some training is necessary to use it properly. Thankfully, they offer tutorials on Trailblazers that help with learning and certification.

“Reliable client history tracking”
Pros
At my online sales job, this software has been a really great tool. It covers pretty much everything we need which makes daily work a lot easier. One thing I appreciate is being able to go back and edit notes or remove them from a client record when they're no longer needed. It also does a very good job of maintaining client history and updating customer profiles is simple and easy.
Cons
One ongoing frustration has been how often certain portal extensions we use for clients tend to crash. Just last week, one of the portals we rely on for adding products to client accounts went down and brought a lot of our work to a stop. We did get it fixed within about an hour but the same portal has continued acting up again this week. The fixes don't seem too difficult but I'd really prefer them to actually last once they're applied.

“Customizable CRM with exports”
Pros
This tool is user-friendly and the interface can be customized to match your company's specific CRM needs. It also makes it possible to pull information and upload it into Google Excel sheets which is really helpful.
Cons
Sometimes it takes quite a while to load and that can be a downside. The Trailhead training can also be hard for beginners to navigate so it's fairly easy to get discouraged and give up on learning.

“Highly customizable for every team”
Pros
Right from the start, the customization stood out. The company I was with was just getting started with it and since we had multiple sales departments using the system, we were still able to tailor it in a way that felt user-friendly for both teams.
Cons
Making updates or changing fields could be a bit confusing at times and sometimes took a while to sort out. It was also pretty easy to delete fields by mistake. I learned pretty quickly that using the sandbox first is really important before making any actual changes.

“Paperless fee tracking”
Pros
Handling league fee payments for a large number of people works really well with this program. The paperless setup is a big plus and having multiple people in the office using the software at the same time is very helpful. It also makes it simple to see what other staff members have already completed or updated on accounts.
Cons
It can get a little confusing when some groups have very similar names since that makes it harder to tell teams apart and be sure payments are posted to the right account. That said, we were able to come up with a solution on our own without much trouble.

“Accessible and efficient for sales”
Pros
Being cloud-based is a big plus since there's nothing to install and I can log in from anywhere. It's been simple to manage overall and has helped me work more efficiently in my sales rep role.
Cons
Support can be complicated to deal with, report generation is harder than it should be and the dashboard changes after updates can be frustrating.

“Clean design and strong security”
Pros
Right away, the interface and overall design feel polished and pleasant to use. The security controls are excellent and one thing I really appreciate is how simple it is to customize page formats. Being able to create reports, export them or share them by email saves me a lot of time.
Cons
One downside is that there doesn't seem to be a suitable plan for a small business.

“Sales tracking toolkit”
Pros
This feels like a must-have platform for any revenue team. The feature set covers just about everything needed to follow the sales cycle closely and really pinpoint what's working versus what isn't.

“Integrations and customization”
Pros
There's an almost unlimited range of integrations and features available here. Once you get past the learning curve and understand how everything works, the workflow becomes very reliable. The level of customization is hard to match.
Cons
Getting up to speed can take quite a bit of time and training. It also has moments where it feels like the product was built piece by piece over many years so not everything always works together as easily as you'd expect. And while the customization options are outstanding, setting them up takes real effort and making changes later can be delicate and somewhat frustrating.

“Top CRM with a huge community”
Pros
It really sets the standard for CRM solutions. On top of using one of the best platforms out there, the user community is massive, incredibly supportive and a valuable resource whenever help is needed.
Cons
The only difficulty I've noticed doesn't really come from the software itself but from how people use it. Having a consistent, unified process across the teams working in it is extremely important.

“Limitless capabilities”
Pros
Without a doubt, this is the number one CRM in the world. Salesforce.com can do almost anything, if the standard features don't cover something, you can usually solve it with apps or custom APEX code. Another big plus is how versatile it is since it works well for just about any kind of business.
Cons
Biggest downside is the cost. That said, Salesforce.com does offer volume discounts and other pricing breaks which helps offset it a bit.

“User-friendly with lots of features”
Pros
Everything is laid out really well and the platform feels very user friendly. It comes with plenty of features that fit what our business needs every day which makes it very practical for our daily work.
Cons
There is not much to complain about. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that some data does not always log correctly although that could also be related to the Wi-Fi connection.
