Popular CRM

Pros

Among CRM platforms, this is one of the most widely used options. It helps automate the sales workflow, lead generation, customer service and business analytics and it also gives access to thousands of applications through AppExchange.

Cons

It can be a bit costly for people starting a new business and getting everything set up in the beginning takes some time. The loading speed can also feel slow at times.

Highly customizable

Pros

It has become a core part of our daily operations. It's very simple to use and the level of customization it offers for our business is impressive. If there's something we need, chances are we can build it in Sales Cloud. On top of that, support is available whenever technical issues come up and there are plenty of training resources that help with both implementation and ongoing learning. Overall, it delivers strong value for the cost especially since the per-license pricing can be much lower than many competing products.

Cons

the platform's capabilities can be so impressive that it's tempting to overbuild something that could have stayed much simpler. Because of that, it really helps to understand your business well and spend time learning the tools properly so you don't create unnecessarily complex solutions.

Better collaboration

Pros

It really supports collaboration and helps people work together more efficiently. It also makes day-to-day work feel more productive and effective overall.

Cons

At this point, I haven't run into any issues. If anything, it has made my work much more convenient.

Flexible solution

Pros

The integrations and customization here are on another level. You can shape it into almost anything you need, whether that means using it as a full CRM, a task manager or even for sales forecasting, the possibilities really keep going.

Cons

Visually, the interface is tough to deal with. It's pretty complicated to navigate especially for new hires, who will likely need a full day of training just to get comfortable with it. It definitely isn't lacking in features but that's also part of the problem since it can feel very overwhelming. It works best as a standalone system and it's better to avoid pairing it with tools that don't integrate well, like other CRMs or task management platforms.

Flexible automation and workflows

Pros

Being able to build our own sales and pipeline process with rules and automations is a big plus. It also lets us add custom fields based on our business needs without having to involve a development team or anything similar. The reporting is really strong and flexible and we can pull data from almost any object and share those reports with other users.

Cons

Dashboards are the weak point for me. I doubt they will improve much especially since the company also sells Tableau so it almost feels like the limitation exists to push that product. There's also no good way to export files and attachments in bulk. On top of that, the platform is fairly expensive and can get complicated at times.

Customizable sales processes

Pros

A really great CRM that works especially well for collaboration. The automation features are very useful and the platform is simple to get started with and use day to day.

Cons

It is on the expensive side and the add-ons can raise the cost even more. There are also limits around what you can disable and when and customer support can sometimes be a little slow to respond.

strong reporting and analytics

Pros

After getting properly trained on it, this app becomes an excellent tool to work with. It does a really great job of maintaining data integrity and I haven't run into any data corruption issues at all. It captures customer information well and helps track suspects and opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle. Overall, it's a very strong management tool. Another big plus is that it's cloud-based so you can get to it from anywhere as long as you have the right credentials.

Cons

Like with most systems, the change takes some getting used to but if you're open to growth and adapting to new ways of working, then it works just fine.

Simple collaboration tools

Pros

It connects with just about any partner we work with which has been a huge advantage.

Cons

Pricing is definitely on the high side and as our team grows, the cost will likely climb into the hundreds of thousands.

Easy-to-use CRM system

Pros

This is by far the best CRM application I've used to date. It's easy to use, simple to navigate and the integration process is also very manageable.

Cons

One downside is that the program can be quite expensive and data doesn't always save automatically.

Modern scalable platform

Pros

There's a reason this is often seen as the top CRM on the market. It feels modern, adapts well to different workflows and scales without much trouble as needs grow. It also connects natively with almost every cloud-based tool we use and when a direct integration is missing, Zapier usually fills the gap. For more advanced integration work, our development team sometimes has to rely on the API. This platform has become essential for our marketing, sales and customer relations teams and we're even looking at rolling it out to additional departments because it brings that much value to the business.

Cons

That same flexibility and scalability can occasionally create issues. In most CRM situations, it works best to stick with the native parameters and record types. Once you move too far beyond those, things can become difficult to manage pretty quickly.

Full workflow customization

Pros

Right from the start, it gives you the freedom to configure nearly every part of the system without needing to write code. The workflow setup is flexible, easy to arrange and highly customizable. It also brings lead tracking, customer journeys, opportunities, support tickets, client meetings and more into one simple dashboard which makes day-to-day management much more convenient.

Cons

Biggest downside is the price since it is definitely among the more expensive CRM options and probably not the best fit for small businesses. That said, it still feels worth the money. A few features can be tricky to figure out at first and require some training along with time spent reading the documentation. On top of that, creating dashboards is not very simple and usually needs someone with the right expertise to set it up properly.

Advanced feature complexity

Pros

There was a lot built into the software for handling leads, sales and other tasks so the potential was definitely there.

Cons

Getting up to speed with it was really hard. It came with so many features and functions that trying to learn everything as you went felt overwhelming. We had online group training sessions but even after spending two hours in them, they still didn't come close to covering everything the software could do.

Highly adaptable CRM

Pros

It has been very flexible for the way we work. Our B2B account relationships are pretty unique and we've been able to customize the platform so it fits how we manage and create contracts. Having the CRM connected to our service platform has also made a huge difference in improving our onboarding process.

Cons

For a small company like ours, the pricing is a bit on the expensive side.

Powerful integration capabilities

Pros

After having to stack it up against another CRM recently, it became obvious pretty fast why this platform stays at the top. People often complain that it's bulky and complex but there's a reason it leads the pack. It connects with just about everything, can generate highly configurable reports endlessly and it serves as our single source of truth.

Cons

No question, SFDC is a heavy platform. It comes with a huge number of features and capabilities and a lot of them feel pretty niche or obscure especially from an end-user perspective. Still, that depth is exactly what makes it capable of fitting so many different needs. There are CRMs out there that are cheaper, quicker and simpler to use but none of them feel as powerful.

Simple and fast access

Pros

Getting started with it felt very easy and it also seems simple to manage on the admin side especially for CSV uploads, customizing fields and similar setup tasks.

Cons

Based on all the hype around it, I expected a lot more than what was immediately shown to me. I just didn't really see much added value at first or fully grasp its broader potential even though I'm sure it can do more than just function as a CRM or database.

Easy admin configuration

Pros

Packed with features and a lot of options, this software works really well for managing and overseeing large sales teams.

Cons

It's quite complex and not very simple so there's definitely a learning curve. It feels better suited for managers who need control and visibility than for SDRs or KAMs handling day-to-day work.

Enterprise-level sales management

Pros

One thing this really does well is help me stay connected with clients and keep those relationships consistent over time. It also gives my coworkers visibility into where things stand with each client which is especially helpful when I'm out on leave or vacation. Really useful tool overall.

Cons

The downside is that it can sometimes feel like duplicate work. I have to enter the information into the system and then still explain everything to colleagues as well.
