Flexible account search filters

Pros

Changing the search and prospecting criteria for accounts is really easy which makes it much easier to work the way I want.

Cons

I do wish the state appeared under contacts as well instead of only being listed under the account.

Sales tracking that delivers

Pros

Working in sales, I see CRM as the backbone of the business and this software really helps with that. At my small business, I handle a limited number of customers but as a freelancer I've also worked with a much larger client base and one of the best things here is how well it maintains and analyzes data no matter the size. It brings together nearly everything needed for the job, from building customer profiles and reviewing reports to managing dashboards and scheduling meetings with clients. Having all of that in one place makes it feel like a real partner for keeping customer relationships strong and supporting better sales results.

Cons

After more than 6 months of using it, I'm genuinely very happy with the software and most of its tools are simple to work with but there are still a few things that could be better. The biggest concern is the pricing because some of the key features that really help you stand out in the sales business come at a pretty high extra cost. On top of that, its performance depends a lot on having stable and decent internet which is not something available everywhere. The mobile app also doesn't feel fully reliable especially when trying to use all of the tools and features from remote locations.

Collaborative and customizable

Pros

It creates a collaborative workspace where people can get exactly what they need to do their jobs as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Cons

Even though it offers a lot of customization, it could be more agile in adapting to consumer needs.

powerful yet practical

Pros

Pretty much everything about it works well. It's simple to learn, easy to implement and the overall usage feels very simple.

Cons

There's still room to improve some technical limitations and adding PDF parsing or extraction would be a big plus. Since a lot of the industry works with PDFs and JPGs for things like orders and quotes, that would be a really valuable addition.

Sales visibility that helps

Pros

It covers the essentials really well with activity tracking, team dashboards, pipeline management and sales forecasting which makes it very useful for keeping up with sales performance.

Cons

Running reports is where things get frustrating because the process can be pretty confusing and not as simple as it should be.

Reporting takes time to learn

Pros

After you really learn the system, you can generate just about any report you need. It also does a nice job of displaying forecasts and tracking new leads.

Cons

It's great software but it requires a lot of training to use well. Building reports isn't very simple for many users and the process is specific to this platform so onboarding new employees takes longer. Another downside is that reports can't be exported as PDFs for presentations so everything has to be presented within the system itself.

CRM for account tracking

Pros

From handling leads and contacts to keeping account details organized, this CRM makes day-to-day work very manageable. It's a really useful place to store information on prospective accounts and the customer management side is just as strong. Submitting and following cases or tickets is easy and having contracts, contacts and other important details all in one system adds a lot of value.

Cons

One downside is that new features can take some time to make it into the software. Because of that, having a CI/CD and CRT platform in place is pretty important.

Customizable layout but glitchy

Pros

The layout and overall design are really appealing. One thing I enjoy most is being able to rearrange the layout however I want to match the way I work.

Cons

It does glitch fairly often and that can become expensive for a CSR when call volume is high.

Smooth rollout and adoption

Pros

After leading the purchase for our company which had been on HubSpot for a few years, I finally got to see this platform in action. I'd known about it for a long time but we had never been in a position to commit financially to a fixed number of users each year. During the sales process, there was a strong push to pair us with an implementation partner. I was confident I could handle the setup myself but I still took a few calls with consultants and every quote came back in the $15k-$30k range. In the end, I decided to do the implementation on my own. Even without prior hands-on experience with this specific system, I've spent years setting up and managing business software so I leaned on that background. There was absolutely a learning curve but with YouTube tutorials and online help articles, I got up to speed fairly fast and was able to roll it out across the company efficiently. I'd honestly recommend that others try doing the implementation themselves first since you can always bring in a partner later if you hit roadblocks. To me, the toughest part isn't the setup itself, it's figuring out how you want the system to operate for your business. If that part gets handed off to an outside partner who doesn't know your company the way you do, you're already putting yourself at a disadvantage from the start.

Cons

The biggest downside is the heavy upfront commitment of a two-year contract, with no flexibility to lower the contract value later. For a small business, that's a pretty major obligation.

All-in-one reporting hub

Pros

Having everything centralized has been a huge plus and the integration with our ERP system was very easy. The customizable reports are really useful and the mass update feature saves a lot of time. Overall, it's an awesome piece of software.

Cons

Honestly, the only downside for us was the price. The product itself was excellent but as a relatively small company, the cost ended up being too high for our budget. It wasn't an issue with the software at all, just a limitation on our side.

CRM and marketing tool

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how much functionality it includes. Beyond being an excellent CRM platform, it also helps us coordinate lead management and gives us tools to handle full-funnel marketing. We rely on it across both our marketing and sales teams.

Cons

With so many features packed into one platform, it can feel a little overwhelming at first and takes time to learn how to use it to its full potential. Thankfully, there are plenty of resources available, including third-party ones, that help with the learning curve. The only other downside has been integrating some of our other systems which can be challenging at times.

Data filtering tools

Pros

There are plenty of ways to filter the data and dig into the analysis which makes it really useful when working with larger sets of information.

Cons

The user interface is pretty bad and feels very outdated, with an old-school look that makes the experience less appealing.

Helpful for tracking sales

Pros

Getting around the platform felt very easy and it did a really helpful job of keeping up with my customers and sales.

Cons

At the beginning, I had a hard time fully understanding how to use the site. When I first started working with the software, I didn't really have a clear sense of everything it was capable of.

Great community and customization

Pros

It can be tailored to fit just about anything you need or want. The Trailblazer tutorials are excellent and make it much easier to pick up the admin and development skills needed for implementation. Their customer service team has been incredibly helpful whenever I've needed support. Dreamforce and the other public events are also a huge plus since they're a great way to connect with others and stay updated on new and upcoming features you might want to roll out. It really feels like a big community where people are constantly helping each other succeed.

Cons

It is a little expensive but honestly it feels worth the cost. Other than that, I really don't have any complaints.

Dashboards and customization

Pros

Getting started with it is very easy and the platform is simple to use day to day. Training other people on workflows is also pretty quick and the tools for managing a team work really well. Because the system is so customizable, it can fit just about any kind of business. The reporting and dashboards are simple to build and are extremely helpful for understanding where the business stands and for forecasting ahead. There are also plenty of strong tools for tracking and measuring performance.

Cons

At times, the level of customization can be a little too much and it's possible to build workflows that don't work together very well. That said, if you have a capable admin or developer, it's usually not hard to address.

Secure customer data hub

Pros

Keeping customer data protected is one of the biggest reasons companies rely on this CRM and that has clearly been a strong point of the platform from the beginning. It stores all customer information in one central database, well organized and accessible based on each user's role and permission level which makes collaboration much more controlled and efficient.

Cons

There is still a learning curve for employees. Like any worthwhile software, this CRM takes some time to learn and use properly. Training staff can feel like a drawback at first even though the platform helps a lot with that through the effective training system already in place.

Helpful policy details view

Being able to pull up all of the detailed policy information in one place has been the most useful part of this software.

All-in-one metrics center

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is having our organization's key metrics all in a single platform. Sales numbers, customer details and critical documents are all kept in one place which makes everything much more organized. It also connects with a variety of other platforms and automations which really helps support both the sales workflow and customer success efforts.

Cons

There are still some limits when it comes to what the automations and calculations can handle, depending on the object you're working with. The per-user cost is also fairly high and the contracts are fixed for the full term so it's hard to adjust if the company's internal needs change.
