Transparent pipeline visibility

Pros

Perfect tool..... Keeping tabs on current clients and prospects feels convenient with this tool and the visibility it provides is clear enough to share across departments without confusion. It works really well for revenue forecasting too especially when managing and nurturing prospect accounts over a longer stretch of time.

Cons

There's a lot packed into it feature-wise which is useful but that also means new users may need some time to learn all the details and understand how everything works.

Cloud CRM flexibility

Pros

Being cloud-based makes adoption and implementation really simple. It covers pretty much every CRM function a business would expect and there is plenty of documentation available to learn from. The support team is also very responsive and helpful throughout each stage of implementation. On top of that, it lets us build reports and dashboards for revenue tracking and the ability to customize the system around our business requirements has been the biggest advantage.

Cons

A few custom fields still had to be created to fit our specific needs. It would be even better if those features were included right out of the box.

Complete account details

Pros

Every account I enter comes with all the information I need. It covers everything from step-by-step guidance to calling the customer back and keeping written account records, plus the rest of the details needed to stay organized.

Cons

There honestly isn't much I would want changed. I use the program alongside Pacesetter with State Auto Insurance and once in a while I get an error when I enter a client and click add sales activity but outside of that it works really well.

Simple sales notes

Pros

Whether I enter details right after a sales call or wait and upload everything at the end of the day, it works well either way. The data is clear, easy and genuinely useful without feeling complicated.

Cons

I'm probably not taking full advantage of everything it offers. Some sections feel unnecessary for the way I work so I usually leave them unused, like the birthday field and similar areas.

CRM at the center

Pros

A great CRM is something every business and sales team depends on and this one has become a big part of how we operate. After putting a lot of time into it, it's had a real effect on the way we work, how we engage with customers and even how we handle deals. It's basically the backbone of our day-to-day activities.

Cons

It isn't the most simple platform so getting real value from it takes a fair amount of time and effort. It also feels a bit slow at times and it's definitely not the quickest software out there.

Well-organized CRM hub

Pros

Right away, the CRM tools are laid out on a clean, well-organized dashboard so it's simple to find what you need. Contact and account details update in real time which helps keep everything accurate and current. It also does a really good job of tracking emails and calls making follow-up and communication much easier to manage.

Cons

Because it's so flexible and packed with features, it can feel overwhelming at first for anyone who doesn't have much experience with CRM platforms. There's definitely a learning curve in the beginning but with proper training, the depth and complexity start to make a lot more sense and become much more valuable.

great for banking

Pros

There's a lot this platform can handle, if you can think of it, chances are it can be built. Right out of the box, it's already a strong product and the customization options let you shape it around the way your business actually works. In banking, we rely on it as a CRM for everything from lead management and follow-ups to charting across a large organization and Salesforce has made that whole process much more manageable.

Cons

The only thing that feels a bit dated is the look and feel, it could probably use a refresh with a more modern widget-style interface even though it remains an incredibly powerful and secure tool.

Sales-friendly CRM with smart routing

Pros

Right from the start, this CRM has been simple for our entire sales team to work with, regardless of how comfortable they are with technology. We use it for customer management across the board, including emails, tasks, mapping and route planning. Geopointe is also a really valuable add-on because it lets us build heat maps and create routes for both same-day visits and upcoming travel. Another big plus is that the system keeps track of every interaction with a customer, whether it's an email, phone call or other contact activity.

Cons

Our setup includes syncing the software with our ERP system, NetSuite. The integration through Celigo works reliably but the sync speed could definitely be quicker. The dashboards are useful overall though pulling the exact data we need can sometimes be tricky especially when that information is coming from another ERP system like NetSuite.

overpriced CRM

Pros

Having worked as an IT administrator at three different companies, I've seen this platform used everywhere. At one job, we had integrated almost everything into it, to the point that we used to joke the janitor couldn't even take out the trash without creating an IT ticket. It definitely handles certain tasks well. Still, over time it has become far overcomplicated Smaller businesses simply don't need that much functionality especially with the added cost.

Cons

Pricing has climbed too much. There are other products out there that deliver the same kind of value very well for much less. Custom programming also used to be fairly easy but over the years that has become a lot more complicated. It's reached the point where I'm not really a fan anymore. I strongly believe in CRM as a concept, I actually built my first one from scratch back in 1988, long before off-the-shelf options existed. Even so, this software has become overloaded and clearly suffers from mission creep.

Fast reports and clean layout

Pros

The visual layout especially in the SFDC version, is one of the best parts. It's easy to navigate and I can pull up customer or prospect accounts and see everything I need on a single screen. Reporting is another strong point, both high-level and detailed reports are simple to understand and use and once the right permissions are in place, generating a report is very quick.

Cons

Getting new users up to speed could definitely be better. During training, there's a pretty steep learning curve and the onboarding side would benefit from more guidance and hands-on support.

Real-time KPI visibility

Pros

Having KPI tracking in real time makes it much easier to see how the team is performing at any moment. It also does a great job of supporting accurate forecasting.

Cons

Responsive support and daily tools

Pros

Every day, I'm using this program to handle lead communications and it works well for what I need at the moment. We've been exploring a move to a more full-featured CRM and the customer service team has been excellent about setting up a conversation to go over our options. Our usual rep gets back to me very quickly and consistently has answers to the questions I bring up.

Cons

Since we're still on the oldest version and were grandfathered in, there's really no support available for the current features included in our plan that we aren't already using. On top of that, upgrading for integrations with the other programs we rely on is costly which makes it a big investment for a small company like ours right now.

Reporting and flexibility

Pros

It's impressive how flexible and fast this has become. I remember using the classic version and it has really evolved over time. Now it feels incredibly powerful and gives you the ability to build just about anything you need from a reporting and data perspective.

Cons

At times, it can be really confusing for new users. It would help a lot if tutorials were linked directly within every section for quicker access. I know Trailheads exist but that only helps if you already know where to look.

Very flexible solution

Pros

Salesforce can be shaped to handle just about anything you build it for which makes it an extremely flexible platform.

Cons

It can be configured to do nearly anything you want but that flexibility comes with a very high price. On top of that, the whole third-party implementation circus makes it really hard to lock in real value.

CRM with costly setup

Pros

Built with B2B sales teams in mind, this CRM feels like a very established product in the market. It comes with a lot of great CRM capabilities that many competing tools still don't offer. Sales processes are handled in an efficient and effective way and the platform is flexible enough to adapt to different needs. Another plus is the amount of learning resources and structure it provides around CRM.

Cons

On the downside, the price is high and it ends up costing much more than many other products in the same space. The implementation also takes quite a bit of time so getting everything set up is not quick. The dashboard features and overall UI still feel below expectations and honestly, it's not the right fit for every organization.
